Unless seeking luxury I don’t know why one might ever need more than this. Lagoon runs right to the deck but for a ribbon of white sand. Turtles and fish and clear water make for beautiful swimming and snorkeling in front of the house. Almost everything we loved that wasn’t at the location itself was close by. Friendly and relaxed hosts. A beautiful week. Will return.

We were looking for a beach front spot for my boys to snorkel the lagoon and to enjoy the sun and warmth of the island. This spot was incredible. We walked up and down the Muri beach and IMO this spot has THE BEST beach front set up. Every morning I would drink my tea at sunrise under the palm trees on the beach with warm breeze. I loved sitting in the loungers for hours either in the palm trees shade or in the sun on the beach. We snorkeled and paddle boarded a ton. Adam and Sarah took great care of us while we were there with taxis and suggested things to do. The house had plenty of space and the landscaping was beautiful. Even though there was no air conditioning, the breeze off the ocean and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable. The only downside, which would absolutely not keep me from coming back here again, was a strong musty odor whenever you opened the kitchen cabinets. I imagine with the humidity it’s hard to keep enclosed spaces free of mold. Still highly recommend.

Such a beautiful view to wake up to every morning from this bungalow. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I loved the location because it was close to a lot of the activities I was wanting to do. I felt very safe and had my privacy in my own bungalow. Sonny was great with communication and I also appreciated the flexibility in allowing me to check out a little later for my flight. I love Rarotonga! I’ll be back and will definitely recommend to my family and friends back here in NZ.

From the moment we booked—just 15 hours before arriving in Rarotonga from the U.S.—Janna went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. She was incredibly responsive, answering all of our questions quickly and ensuring everything was seamless. Her Airbnb was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even stocked with thoughtful breakfast items—such a kind and welcoming touch! Beyond the wonderful accommodations, Janna’s hospitality was unmatched. She shared fantastic local recommendations that made our trip even more memorable and even helped us arrange a day tour, which ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming, and thoughtful host, Janna is the best. We can't recommend her Airbnb highly enough and would love to return!

We had a lovely and comfortable stay here! There was some confusion over the airport pick up when we landed but was eventually sorted and we were driven to the accomodation! The entire team at Mykayla Palms are very friendly and helpful! We were upgraded at no extra cost to a 2 bdrm unit as the 1 bdrm was booked. The beach is a 30 second walk and we loved it - makes for a great walk! It was definitely the windier, wilder side of the island. Easy walk to a couple of restaurants and a convenience store opposite us. Couple of small things that need maintenance attention but as the tourists return, I’m sure the place will be back to 100%. Will go back when we visit Raro next, especially if we’re in a group!

Great house and great location. House was super clean and had everything we needed including sufficient beach and bath towels and kitchen stuff. Garden was beautiful and so nice to have the pool to cool off. Didn't get around to using the kayaks but handy to have them there. So handy too to have the wifi included. Hosts were super friendly - popped by a couple of times and very kindly left us a welcome fruit basket and a Christmas gift a few days later. Couple of highlights from this trip - Tamarind House/ Ukelele Bar for drinks & food, cross-island walk finishing up at Wigmores Waterfall (make sure to wear insect repellent!), newly opened cafe Lil G's in Vaimaanga who make their own bread/ buns for burgers, toasties etc - super tasty and finally, the Christmas Day church service at Titikaveka CICC.

A wonderful place to stay for a couple. Right on the lagoon for a morning dip or sunset photography and everything you need is either right in the property or a short walk/bike ride away. We stayed for 10 days and loved every moment from the chirping geckos to the shuffling hermit crabs. We fired up the BBQ and walked along the beach to Charlies; made friends with the neighbour's dog (we called her Layla); snorkelled with turtles; took the bus to black rock (buy a 10 trip pass!); cycled to Muri for a romantic evening meal; Our host was responsive and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Thankyou.

The house is currently getting renovated after a tough few years of COVID and when that’s finished it will match its amazing location which is right on Muri Lagoon. Easy walk to perfect beaches, cafes and restaurants. A great place to stay with a group of friends or family and we will definitely be coming back as Koromiri and Rarotonga are the perfect holiday destination.
