Family-friendly vacation rentals in Randwick City Council

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property, which no photo does justice to just how stunning the view of the water is from not one but two decks. A two minute walk to wonderful shopping outlets, cafe’s, dog parks, gyms, salons, everything you need. The host is highly responsive, fair and accommodating. The quiet leafy neighbourhood filled with frangipani’s next to the water is beautiful, with a private area to have a sunny cool spa outdoors or a warm spa of an evening. The bbq placed right where you can see the water is a lovely touch for cooking outdoors with a view. I had everything I needed the moment I arrived which makes life so much easier. I can’t thank the host enough for my stay. This place is truly a gem. Thank you so much!

Great place and very clean - everything very accessible

Sally responded quickly and kindly, making the reservation process and scheduling adjustments smooth and hassle-free. Although I arrived earlier than planned, she graciously allowed me to check in. Her father personally came by and warmly introduced nearby amenities and places worth visiting. Their kindness and hospitality left a truly heartwarming impression. Thanks to you, I had such a great time in Australia. I’ll never forget it. Thanks again!

Great location for access to darling harbour the city and ferries. A perfect position for any visit to Sydney. Would definitely stay there again.

Staying in Zak's little suite has been absolutely fabulous. You can really feel that Zak takes pride in his place, and he did everything to share it with us so that we could enjoy it just as much. Thank you for that! The suite is decorated with a very personal touch, which is such a wonderful contrast to a sterile hotel suite. You have an exciting sense of style, Zak! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful rooftop pool, sauna, and spa area—simply fantastic to take a dip while soaking in that breathtaking view.

Awesome safe and friendly location with ease of access to ferry the little snail restaurant, local grocery, liquor stores, pubs, eateries and harbour front, huge bonus is a free car park spot accessible thru local parking facility was excellent right next to the lift. Was so easy to drive out to the Easter show and back. Loved the rooftop pool and view. Loved the balcony and view. Beds and pillows are really comfy. Great that the sofa bed was already made up on arrival. It was also comfy! Air con works great. Well stocked with day to day essentials; toilet paper, paper towel, handwashing, dishwash and laundry powder even salt n pepper!

I was apprehensive on first seeing the house from the street, it looked so small. But it turned out to be like Dr Who's TARDIS. Huge on the inside and plenty of room for the 5 of us. There was plenty of room for chilling together and to escape to another room for some peace. There was a hair dryer and a straightener in the house, which my partner was happy to see and could have saved taking hers. One criticism that I could think of is that it's on the flight path so passing jets can be noisy. The pool was still up for us (late Feb/early March) and it was very welcoming for the hot humid weather we had. Liz was a great host and very responsive. Happy to visit to clean the pool. She also reminded us of the bin day.

Spacious, lovely top floor apartment on a quiet street filled with beautiful trees and the sounds of birds. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with our coffee in the morning and refreshments at the end of the day. Em is the perfect host checking in to make sure we had enough blankets when the temperature changed, but never intrusive. We appreciated the notebook with many excellent recommendations for cafes in the walkable neighborhood and the best beach spots for dining. You have easy access to public transportation to the Harbour, beaches, and to explore other neighborhoods. We would definitely return to Em's place on our next visit to Sydney.

Lovely apartment in a quiet area. Beaches, restaurants and shops are a 10 min walk away Nina was always at hand if we had any questions and we would see definitely stay here again

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tanya’s house for our Xmas family gathering. The property exceeded our expectations, it was very well appointed and everything felt like home from home. The house was spacious to accommodate our family needs and our grandchildren especially loved the swimming pool which was a bonus. There is also a lovely granny annexe. The property is convenient for the beaches and public transport. Buses are at the end of the road and the tram stop only a 15 minute walk so getting to central Sydney was so simple We highly recommend Tanya’s house for a family stay in Sydney, you won’t be disappointed Tanya was a great host and made our stay so smooth,

The ideal family holiday home in Bronte! Perfection is all I can say to describe our trip to Karen’s home. She thought of everything from all the amenities to get us started to the little finishing touches of scented candles homemade produce in the fridge. The attention to detail was second to none and everything about the house including location size outdoor area and access to restaurants and shops was perfect. Karen was on hand during our stay and always responded to my messages in an instant. All in all she was a great host and this home is a must if you are thinking of heading to Sydney. We for sure will definitely be back! Thank you for everything.

Had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The host Joe was fantastic – very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect, with plenty of cafes and shops nearby, and it’s just a short walk to the beaches. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Awesome location and the view from the balcony is lovely. Well fitted out kitchen, we were even inspired to do some cooking despite all the restaurants on offer!

The house was beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were two families and there was plenty of space for everyone. The hosts were very generous and helpful, configuring the kids room so it suited our teen/tweens, and their local recommendations were great. It’s an easy walk to the beach and not far to walk to coogee either. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back another time.

Lily and Michael were very nice and easy to talk. The house is very spacious and in a nice place.

We had a fantastic week at Gail’s apartment - it is super comfortable; very relaxing and walkable to all things Sydney. Gail was very easy to communicate with whenever needed and helped with lots of dining ideas. Thx Gail for adding to our special week. We will definitely return

The perfect place to stay for our first few nights in Sydney - easily commutable from the airport and close to everything in the city centre. Super comfy bed too! Would absolutely stay again.

Very convenient and comfortable place for a city visit! Great location - opposite Woolworth, lots of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. King’s Cross is close by. I walked ca 30 minutes to the Opera House. I can highly recommend!

Tim’s place was cosy and comfortable. Location was just right with just the right amount of privacy and cafes / restaurants / grocery shopping closeby. Tim was prompt with his responses and accommodating to special requests. The check-in / out arrangement was seamless. Thanks for a lovely stay !

A fantastic spot to spend time with our family in a lovely neighborhood, so close to everything that is good about Sydney.

My son and I stayed at Ollie's place for 2 nights. We arrived earlier than Ollie expected and I was distracted and forgot to send him a message after getting thru customs, but he was very kind and buzzed us up to his apartment and allowed us to drop off our bags before check in and we were able to enjoy Sydney! Ollie's place is just as described, clean and comfortable and so many extra amenities provided! Bread, butter, jam and eggs to start off the day! Some drinks in the fridge, coffee & tea as well. Shampoo, body wash & blow dryer available in the bathroom. My son and I tried a couple of the restaurants/coffee shops that Ollie suggested in his very informative notebook. The Rusty Rabbit within walking distance and The E Cafe right next door. Both were great , my son really enjoyed his steak and egg breakfast at the Rusty Rabbit! We walked to many sights(parks, museums, etc) and caught an uber when needed. I highly recommend Ollies place, he is definitely a "Super Host"!

Claire was an AMAZING host. She was so kind and accomodating to our needs. She was so detailed and responsive that there was never any confusion. Her house was also as beautiful as Australia! :) nice views with clean bathrooms and beds and towels. Her house is close to everything from the fish market to super markets to trams and the city. We will be returning to Sydney and I hope we can stay at Claire’s house again if possible! Thank you Claire!!!

Thanks Jo for letting us stay in your amazing apartment. We felt right at home, with everything you could possibly want in a home away from home. The location is just stunning and the views amazing. The pool was an added bonus with the Easter weather really turning it on. It took us right back to summer. We also had out own 'lights' show on Easter Monday with an amazing thunder and lightning storm. Oh and who can go past your record collection. That was something special as was the quality of the speakers. A music lovers delight (no surprise there). Thanks again.
