We welcome you to stay in our self contained studio, positioned on the ground floor of our home. The 1x bedroom studio features kitchen, bathroom, living space with aircon, an outdoor courtyard & roadside parking. It has its own private access, seperate from the main house entrance. If you’re concerned with noise, this perhaps isn’t the place for you as our living room is directly above the studio. We have a young family & 2 dogs who can be noisy at times. Generally from 8pm to 7am it’s quiet.

A spacious deck with waterfall views and walnut trees compliments the cabin. It is situated on a 20-acre rural property, with a 20-minute drive to downtown Tauranga and a 10-minute drive to Bethlehem and Tauriko Crossing, offering dining and shopping options. A deliberately different, John Henderson designed, slightly quirky B & B in Bethlehem, Tauranga - situated next door too, and run by the owners of Somerset Cottage, a long established restaurant and cookschool. You are always welcome to join us at the restaurant on one of the nights we're open - Wednesday to Saturday ( bookings tend to be necessary), or we can bring a restaurant meal over to you in the Studio if you'd prefer to dine in private. Our newly renovated Studio has been a joy to create and we are excited to finally share this space with you. It is a private small Studio nestled in behind large 80 yr old Californian Redwood and Atlas Cedar trees looking out onto an organic avocado orchard and expansive gardens. It is a private studio on an orchard but handy to cafes , restaurants and shopping centers, just off the main Pyes Pa Road. This spot is such a gem! It has a gorgeous garden which our little boy loved playing in. The house is beautifully finished , so comfortable and spotlessly clean. Its so well placed to be in the countryside but a short drive away from Tauranga and the Mount. We loved our stay here and hope to come and stay again. We highly reccomend a trip to the Quarry to see the gardens :)

We were in the area for an event at Baypark Stadium in the Mount and got more than we bargained for by booking here, would have happily stayed at the accommodation the whole time. So pretty and peaceful, had more than we needed and the breakfast was such a lovely treat.

So loved staying here it is so peaceful yet so close to the Mall with everything you need. The house has everything you need for a great stay. Caroline is amazing and takes great care of you, so quick to respond. Even though this place is on the same property as the owner it is private and quiet.
