Quintessential New England Home w/ Patio & Grill!

LisaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This home is lovely and warm and inviting. I very much enjoyed the fact that i could cook and have everything there. I liked the patio and my kids enjoyed the town. We had time to check things out and even though i live in CT i still got to go places i have never been to. It was a working vacation for us all and even with that we still had time to be a family and enjoy each other. Thank You for being in touch with us Diana and Fred are wonderful hosts. Lisa

Lake front cottage

Sarah and I had a beautiful, relaxing stay. The lake was crystal clear and we enjoyed watching the ducks hunt for fish in the morning. The sun floods the space and you have uninterrupted views of the lake. John and Amy have a well stocked home for visitors with spices for cooking, a portable speaker, games, and plenty of cozy sitting options. We are excited to visit again for more kayaking in the warmer months! Thank you both!!

On The Run Farm

Perfect for a get away. Everything looks beter than the pictures. Clean and very comfortable. Laurie is an excellent host, very creative to make us feel comfortable. Next time I need a place to stay in Connecticut, I hoop this one is available.
A wooden deck features two metal chairs positioned around a potted plant. Sunlight filters through surrounding trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The deck showcases natural wood tones, enhancing the outdoor experience.

Historic Railroad Caboose - Unique CT Farm Escape

JennyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was an amazing place to stay with my three year old! Laurie’s husband came out to show us around the place and my son grabbed his hand right away and was so excited! They had teddy bears and books set up for him and he loved every minute of it! When we woke up the next morning he said “I don’t wanna leave this place!” 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

Charming Barn Loft with Modern Comforts

SummerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The space was very nicely laid out and homey. We did not use the kitchen, but there were plenty of items available. The bathroom was well stocked and clean. The opinion on the bed was 50/50 between my husband and I; he did not find it comfortable, but I thought it was. The television does flip around to face both the couch and bed, however, the angle from the bed is not ideal. The yard/animal pen directly behind the space looked well kept(not sure if it is the owner’s), but it’s always nice to have pleasant surroundings. There was a rooster and a peacock that made noise in the early morning that did wake us up, but we live in the country so we’re used to it, but others may not be. The driveway to the barn was too uneven for my vehicle to make it all the way down next to the barn, but the walk was no more than 100ft so no big deal there. Vehicles with more ground clearance would not have any issues though. Overall, I would give the space 9/10.
