Claude's place is of high quality and will certainly live up to your expectations. Note: the accommodation is very well acoustically insulated as long as we close the door but hey it makes sense The small cats on the property will delight you under the Normandy sun.

Beautiful spacious house, with a large glass veranda overlooking a large garden. This is a family house with all amenities for a large family. It is quietly located on the outskirts of a village that has bakery, pharmacy, butcher shop, family pizzeria and playground for children. Halfway between beaches and Normandy Switzerland. We are particularly grateful to Gaëlle for providing the beds and amenities for our two infants at our request. She also advised us on outings, including Ouézy's educational farmhouse, which was particularly interesting. And all ages loved the turtles.

Pleasant stay, ideal for disconnecting from everyday life. The environment is soothing and the host is present and discreet at the same time. Horses are your only neighbors, peace and authenticity guaranteed. The jacuzzi area is great, be careful it's extra and plan the reservation. We'll be back again for sure.

We had a fabulous time. The house is beautiful: spacious, stylish, clean, and well equipped (including a well stocked kitchen). The outside space is fantastic too - a private patio to eat and relax, with the friendly noises of the chickens in the background and just a few metres from the beautiful pool. We all loved the pool - especially our five-year-old. It is large enough to swim properly and the cover means we could comfortably use it on cooler days. The surrounding area is well located to visit a range of local towns. Martine was lovely: helpful and always available when needed, but we also felt we have the privacy and space to relax into our holiday home. A fantastic holiday. Thank you, Martine.

We had a great weekend with the family at this place. The exteriors are absolutely beautiful and everything was very clean upon arrival. However, it's important to note that sound insulation is very limited, which can be a bit annoying if you're sensitive to noise. In addition, the decor and overall condition of the accommodation could be improved. Despite these small points, Stuart was a perfect host, very welcoming and available. We recommend this place to stay for its outdoor setting and the quality of the hospitality.

We had a lovely stay at this house, ideally located in Alençon. You are close to all the shops in the city center via the Parc des Promenades, but also very close to the banks of the Sarthe, and the landscaped paths along the river. We also enjoyed the terrace and the beautiful garden of the house. In short, highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Anne's! She was present when we arrived to explain how the house works, give us useful information and remains available during the stay if needed! The stone house has a crazy charm, there is everything you need inside and the fully enclosed garden is a real plus for us who came with a dog. Our little treat: the post-hike aperitifs in the living room in the dim light of the lamps with the stereo (nice equipment, not the small cassette/CD player, haha) in the background that works like thunder!! We came hiking, you are spoiled for choice with the huge surrounding forests and we only met very few people. We were able to chat with Anne before we left and it was really great, she is very kind! A real favorite, I'll keep the address 😁 Thank you very much!

We had a great weekend at Marie's. We were perfectly hosted by her father. The house is very charming, pleasant and well-equipped. The bedding is of quality. We stayed a great weekend with family siblings and nephews, nieces. The whole family had a great time. Vincent is very flexible with check-ins and checkouts. We will recommend it to those around us.

The holiday was just what we needed. It's a place where you can really relax! Very rustic and rural but with supermarkets a 10 minutes drive away. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 children and the bedrooms were just right. The attic rooms do have low doors, I might have hit my head more than once but I am quite clumsy. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with everything you need. Jennifer is a lovely host, although she lives next door and can often be seen gardening is not obtrusive but very chatty should you want. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the sheep, chickens, rabbit and horse. The pool is a great size, not too deep which meant our 8 year old could stand up. It's not heated but we braved it! It's a lovely location where you can venture out but could happily stay at home and explore the grounds. It's wonderful at night, with no light pollution you can see stars very clearly and we enjoyed watching bats and spotting glow worms! Thanks for a lovely week

The house and garden are lovely to be. The pool is fine. Also when it rains it is staying inside the house cozy. The beds are comfortable, everything is there. A fantastic ambiance and for children a play paradise with the trampoline and the pool. There is absolute tranquility and with a sublime view over the fields a special place.

The house is wonderful and full of charm. Situated in a very rural village but only 7 minutes to town and the supermarket so perfect if you want peace and quiet. Really large garden so perfect for our grandchildren to play outside and the pool is away from the house but behind fencing so very safe.

We attended as a family of 10. 7 adults and 3 children, this location was perfect for a family looking to relax and enjoy time together, we shopped locally and spent the daytime by the pool and the evenings around the table with the BBQ fired up and a cold beer in hand. Everything you need is on site. A large open plan living area with comfortable seating. They have a ping pong table in a separate building which we surprisingly ended up spending a lot of time playing. We would 100% recommend

We had a wonderful stay at La Forge, we only wish we had had the time to stay longer. The house has an impressive feel when you enter, the rooms are spacious and well thought out. An en-suite per room was very convenient for our group and the kitchen was well equipped! The grounds also were spacious and offered an extremely relaxing, quiet environment. Our children loved the pool and used it multiple times a day! Margaret was very informative with local information, she was very friendly and responsive. We certainly hope to stay at La Forge again!
