Vacation rentals with a kayak in Puna'auia

This was a great place to end our vacation for a few nights. The place had everything we needed and we even came across a stingray when snorkelling out in the lagoon. There is a supermarket just a 2min walk from the place as well as a few restaurants just down the road. We rented a car from the airport which was a good decision as all the sites on this island are spread far apart and the traffic is busy! This place is a guest house on the property with the owners living on site. They are a very kind and helpful family. We would recommend staying here to begin or end your vacation!

We had a great 8 days at SCO Logde The accommodation is ideally located in a small quiet area with private access to a pretty uncrowded beach to admire sumptuous sunsets 🌅 The apartment is beautifully decorated, warm, comfortable, the courtyard is very nice, in the shade of the parasol and well maintained. The kitchen is equipped to cook comfortably and many outdoor amenities are available (kayak, paddle, masks). During our stay our hosts offered to change sheets and towels if we wanted. We were wonderfully hosted with a large fruit basket and products (monoi, soaps) Vaihere, Fred and Vaearagi are attentive, responsive, and incredibly kind hosts with whom we had a great time well beyond the scope of the rental. 🙏 Thanks again for these beautiful shared memories. We'll be happy to go back for another stay.

Great stay in Mahina at Carole's! We were hosted very well and felt at home in the accommodation! Ideally located for going to the Pointe de la Venus beach and the kite surfing/wing foil spot. We recommend it without hesitation!

Absolutely stunning stay! I had big plans to hike and travel all over the island, but honestly I hardly left as I enjoyed the bungalow and paddleboarding over clear waters so much!

Philippe’s home is fantastic. Spotless, incredibly well-equipped (seriously you have everything you could possibly need), and in a stunning, convenient location. The deck is particularly lovely for taking in the spectacular sunsets and there is a breeze that keeps the mosquitoes away. The snorkeling in front of the home is exceptional - we saw a large reef shark, eagle ray, sea turtle, leopard elk, and so much more. I can’t imagine a better spot to stay so close to the airport but that feels worlds away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

There not enough words to say, how fantastic this property and Hosts are!! We stayed 2 months, they taught us Tahiti culture, history, recommedations and Tahiti Love! We will always carry their friendship with us! We arrived after dark, raining hard. Magnolia met us on the road to guide us to their property! She and Philip introduced us to traditions, new food and activity. We had fires on the beach, visiting, laughing and enjoying sunset. The house and patio are so well stocked. We were out of the city, yet close enough we could go if desired. Close to Market, Bank, beaches..... I cannot recommend this property more! This was a great stay! We loved the traditional Tahitian style home with open air to hear all of the waves crashing. The netting on the beds worked wonderfully to keep any insects at bay. Expect to see a gecko here and there on the walls. The path leading to the house is a gorgeous walk with beautiful flowers. We loved the lookout for coffee and sunset views.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kaipolani’s. The house is in a quiet area—peaceful at night—which made for a relaxing getaway. Her parents, who live next door, were very kind and welcoming and gave us great local tips. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated having AC in the bedrooms, and access to the kayaks and gear made it easy to enjoy the water. There are restaurants, stores, and beaches all within a 15-minute drive. The only downside was the slow Wi-Fi, so it might not be ideal if you're planning to work remotely. That said, we had a great time overall and would definitely recommend this place to others. We’d happily stay here again!
