Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pukaki

We had an absolutely magical stay at this farm - a truly one-of-a-kind experience! Upon arrival, we found the fridge stocked with fresh milk and breakfast supplies, including delicious homemade butter and yogurt. The real highlight was the farm experience. Our farmer hosts went above and beyond - they were so warm and welcoming, introducing us to their adorable lambs (each with their own special name!) and other animals. They patiently shared their knowledge about farm life, making us feel like part of their family. It wasn't just accommodation - it was like stepping into a storybook. We'd return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this special place!

We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

We had a lovely stay whilst doing part of the Alps to Ocean bike ride. Really cosy place. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. The apple cake if you opt for dinner was brilliant. The only heads up I'd give other guests is that if you're over 5' 9 you might be ducking slightly in part of the bus, and there's no electricity inside. Neither was a problem for us though.

Loved our stay. The Black House was cozy, comfortable and warm. The perfect spot for us to relax and unwind. Close to the lakefront but away from the bustle. The outdoor tub was a great ammenity. Beds were super comfortable and the house was spotless. The fire made a cold rainy evening cozy and relaxing. The host provided heaps of useful information and recommendations. Highly recommend!!

Amazing cottage, the absolute best way to experience Central Otago.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was super clean and there was lots of space. The hot tub was an added bonus at the end of the day!

Ian and Tia were very loving hosts and attentive to whatever we needed. The cottage is fully equipped to spend a few relaxing days there.

Immediately feel at home in this fascinating little cottage, built out of natural materials and decorated with art & creations that give it a unique and cosy feel. Our host left us a special little welcoming gift of fresh baked bread which we absolutely loved, while enjoying the delightful evening watching the cows in the field. The pub was friendly and the store was very interesting. Definitely a memorable experience, highly recommend especially if you are a creative or inquisitive person. We had a great stay at Frog Lodge - it was wonderful to be able to stay at such a lovely home that also welcomed our dogs. The fenced yard was perfect for them and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the afternoon sun. We had such great communication from Jan in the lead up that we had no questions or concerns and everything went smoothly. We would love to stay again next time we are in the area and would 100% recommend a stay in Autumn, such a beautiful time of year in the area.

The place was close to the central strip of restaurants, market, sights and activities! Great location for our leg of the trip!

Highly recommend! Friendly and helpful. Warm and have everything in the kitchen. The weather is not good. Rain all day. If there have a table and seats inside will be great.

Thank you so much for the house Prue!A wonderful experience!My surprise finds the starry sky at the door of Prue's home is the best!Look up and you can see the stars!And there is a dedicated parking space as well as complete utensils, air fryer, and the supermarket in Tekapo is just a three-minute drive away, which is very convenient!The room is warm and comfortable, the electric blanket is provided, very nice to sleep, the surroundings are very quiet, and the curtains are blacked out, Prue is lovingly set up her house, all the details are great considering the✨💕 need for everything Prue💕

We had a fantastic stay here for a couple of nights. The setting was beautiful and Michele was kind enough to let us explore the stunning garden and enjoy some of her home grown veg. The welcome couldnt have been warmer. The accommodation was clean and cosy and was perfect for us and our two small children. A perfect alternative to staying in Tekapo. We would loved to have stayed longer. Would strongly recommend this place to others.

We loved this cute cottage. Owners had the heating on for us. Much nicer than phots suggested and wonderfully quiet as at the back of owners home. We were expected street front from the photos so it was a lovely surprise. Wished we stayed more than a night as Geraldine is so lovely.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Hosts are delightful, very helpful and full of local knowledge. Cottage was exactly what we expected of a farm stay. Breakfast items provided, including eggs from the farm. Place was clean and tidy and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped. All in all a great stay and highly recommended.

Loved staying at Meg’s place! It was a peaceful getaway. Loved seeing the horses and foals. Also enjoyed the very friendly dog and cat. The cat gets chatty when they see you and greets you when walking out to your car or coming back to the property. Facilities were great! Highly recommend and would stay again.

Modern, clean, calm and well appointed. Warren's Airbnb is a perfect base to explore Mount Cook, Tekapo (Mount John observatory), and Lake Ohau. Warren has created a place you'll want to return to.
