House vacation rentals in Province of Modena

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

Beautiful garden, with great facilities including a lovely and stunning views from the hills of Emilia Romagna. The kitchen is bright and we-equipped. The house generally is charming - welcoming and wonderfully decorated with lemon motifs everywhere. Miriam was welcoming and communicated in great time. And the cat is a sweetheart. Highly recommended to families and larger groups.

L'appartamento è piccolo ma molto piacevole e confortevole perché lo spazio è stato sfruttato in modo perfetto con mobilia prevalentement in legno. La cucina è molto bene attrezzata e le pentole sono nuove e abbondanti, cosa rara negli alloggi! Il cortile davanti alla porta d'ingresso non è un granchè, mentre il balcone della camera gode di una belle vista aperta sulle montagne. Roberto è molto disponibile. Abbiamo solo dovuto chiarire un piccolo problema a proposito del costo delle pulizie che non erano indicate nell'annuncio, ma è stato risolto velocemente. Raccomando vivamente quest'alloggio.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Silvana and her Husband were GREAT Hosts!! The place was immaculate and Super Peaceful!!! Best arrangements and accommodations Close to Bologna!! We spent 5 days, Played Tennis and had a Mega BBQ!! Enjoyed the place immensely, Silvana was a SUPER Host!!! Will surely comeback!!!!

Lara ist eine freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt bei ihr. Die Wohnung ist im unteren Stock, dafür schön kühl. Die Umgebung und der Platz rund ums Haus sind fantastisch. Vorallem der grosse Pool mit den Liegen unter den Bäumen. Die Sonnenuntergänge beim Abendessen direkt am Pool, werden uns unvergessen bleiben. Auch Glühwürmchen kann man sehen. Die Unterkunft ist eher teuer, aber super gelegen. Auch für Ausflüge bestens geeignet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had an amazing week at Tommasos place! From the moment we arrived, the host and his very friendly mother made us feel incredibly welcome and was so helpful throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a serene atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, offering peace and tranquility, truly great for the soul. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a wonderful host!

Giuliana's was exactly is great. The location was near the exhibition centre and close to the centre. I will stay again if/when I come back to Bologna.

Siamo stati davvero bene durante i 3 giorni trascorsi qui. Tutti sono stati disponibilissimi e gentilissimi. Il posto è meraviglioso, rilassante, perfetto per fuggire dalla città. L'appartamento carinissimo, dotato di tutto il necessario, mancava solo bagnoschiuma, shampoo e sapone mani, ma niente di terribile che possa farci rivalutare negativamente la bellissima idea che ci siamo fatti di questo splendido posto. Torneremo con estremo piacere ❤️

Mauro è stato un host gentile che ci ha permesso di effettuare il check-in anticipatamente in base alle nostre esigenze. l'appartamento è comodo per spostarsi a piedi ma soprattutto possiede un posto auto privato compreso nel prezzo (attorno i parcheggi sono tutti a pagamento). Forse mancava qualche attrezzo di più in cucina ma nel complesso tutto è andato molto bene. grazie

Had a lovely stay. The house is large and there is a good useable outdoor space. Great place to explore the region but you do need a car as resturants and supermarkets are not in easy walking distance. There are a lot of steps to the upstairs bedroom which have 2 single large beds but it is large with a lovely big window. The down stairs bedroom is lovely and large. The kitchen area has everything you need. The shower took a bit of time to get used too but perfectly usable. Michela was very welcoming and helpful.

After needing a last minute place due to a previous hosts last minute cancellation, we were so glad we found this beautiful accommodation. It was such a refreshing change to have a Airbnb that felt like it was someone’s home that was loved. The host was super friendly and helped us with check in/check out, and had any questions we had answered about the surrounding area. Highly recommend

If i could give 20 stars, it would not be enough to state what this Torre Riva is all about! Peaceful, private, quiet, ancient, historic! Perhaps the most remarkable place we've stayed! The village below is quiet, the townspeople are friendly. The entire area is a picture. You will feel history. Mario is an absolute genius with how to send the baggage up. The renovations that he continued with, the woodwork! The way up, is only the best part...get in shape. The village is worth the walk within all the alleys. A picture at every step. Skvelé ubytovanie, vo výbornej časti. Apartmán bol čistý, útulný a vybavený všetkým, čo sme potrebovali. Super cena. Poloha bola ideálna. Hostiteľ bol veľmi priateľsky a ochotný. Určite by sme sa sem radi vrátili. Odporúčam všetkými desiatimi!! 😊

Ho trascorso due notti nell'alloggio di Elisa e Manuel. L’alloggio, posizionato vicino ad un parco, in un ambiente tranquillo, è accogliente, curato, luminoso, ben attrezzato. La cucina ha tutto il necessario e la camera da letto è molto comoda e silenziosa. Si ha la possibilità di parcheggiare vicino la casa. La zona è ben collegata, ideale anche per visitare Bologna. Manuel è stato un host presente e gentile, sempre disponibile per ogni domanda o consiglio.

This is one of the best places I have stayed on Airbnb. It is a beautiful apartment which has everything you need, with access to an amazing garden. We felt privileged to be guests staying with Ekaterina who is the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble and we were allowed an early check in and a late check out which was really helpful. Reggio Emilia is a lovely town within walking distance and Ekaterina provided us with local recommendations. We would love to return and stay here again. this area stay

Appartamento pulito, confortevole e spazioso, dotato di tutto il necessario. In meno di 5 minuti si raggiunge il centro storico del paese di Castelvetro di Modena. A pochi passi ampio parcheggio gratuito. Host molto presenti e premurosi in caso di necessità e bisogno.

I travelled from Belgium to South Italy and Monica’s place was the best outif all. Minimalistic decoration, fully equipped kitchen, very clean place, super comfortable bed. One of the places you would like to own yourself. Perfecto!
