Long Term Stay in the country Not for Sissies

Must love chickens. This is a little house that we built for our son in 2016. It is next door to our house where we rent a room on Airbnb (Close to Town but in the Country). This is strictly for longer term, researchers or folks wanting to get to know the area. Welcome are people who love Belize and all its quirks. Unwelcome are people who want to try to make money from Belizeans or sit in the house and complain about the insects, rain, culture, etc. Sorry but true. Good references required.

Ideal apartment for two people with a queen size bed, A/C, TV, and private bathroom. The Airbnb has a kitchen and utensils. It is on the second floor. Only for guests. Excellent location 3 minutes from the ADO and 5 minutes from the Plaza “Las Américas”. A snack bar on the ground floor with Yucatecan snacks from 4 pm to 11 pm.

Breakfast for two persons is included in the rate. Cabin 14 is a rustic standard riverside cabin for a couple. The bed and dresser are made of local hardwood harvested on site. Quiet area with a private porch and view of the New River. Our property is Gold Standard Approved for your health and safety.
