The deck off Master bedroom has the highest elevation on the South end of island lending to majestic views of the Caribbean's sunsets and sunrises. The back of the house is a bird lovers delight with a large variety of species flying and nesting in their natural habitat. The Marco Gonzales Myan site can be seen from the deck off of the master bedroom and is just minutes away

Long Term Stay in the country Not for Sissies

Must love chickens. This is a little house that we built for our son in 2016. It is next door to our house where we rent a room on Airbnb (Close to Town but in the Country). This is strictly for longer term, researchers or folks wanting to get to know the area. Welcome are people who love Belize and all its quirks. Unwelcome are people who want to try to make money from Belizeans or sit in the house and complain about the insects, rain, culture, etc. Sorry but true. Good references required.
