The townhouse was just like the pictures and had a very nice location at the back of the complex. There is plenty of shopping and retail close by. I worked from there and the Internet and Wi-Fi worked really well. Everything is very high-tech. There is a huge commercial grade washer and dryer in the hallway upstairs. The neighborhood felt very safe and I spent several mornings on long walks around the neighborhood. Viktar responded very quickly to a message sent during our stay. There are a couple of things that can be improved, but it wouldn’t stop me from booking again. The hot water heater must not be very large, as we ran out of hot water during our showers. And the linens could be upgraded. Bath towels are small and thin. The king bed was made up with only 2 small standard pillows and no comforter. There were extras pillows in the closet, but none were very high quality and I had to buy a pillow on day 3 because my neck was bothering me. All in all a very nice place!

We loved our stay at Sarah’s place! She put in a lot of effort to make sure we felt right at home. After a long trip walking into a beautifully decorated place with a fire (electric), Christmas lights, cookies, and spinning disco ball was so perfect for me and my kids :). My daughter wanted to collect eggs from their chicken coop and Sarah and her family made that happen for her. We loved petting and feeding the alpacas every morning. Everything was very comfortable. 10/10 experience. Thank you Sarah and family!

Luxury Cabin Retreat at Hickory Hollow!

Cute cabin and not too far out from the city! Loved the privacy of the space and it looked exactly like the photos. Host was very communicative and responsive and amenities were accurate! A few minor “Cons”… 2 full bathrooms but one of them is inside the main room upstairs and the downstairs bathroom door doesn’t close so you either have to hold it shut while using the bathroom or put the trash can to hold the door close. I wished the snow/ice was removed from walkways and outdoor amenities so we could enjoy them! We ended buying salt to put down for the walkway to the home as it was as we didn’t have the most balanced group lol. Would’ve definitely appreciated if they took care of that beforehand. There was a significant amount of dog hair on the living room rug which was bothersome for one of my friends who had allergies but we vacuumed which helped. Overall great place to stay and will keep this place on my list for future staycations 🤗

The home was really cozy and comfortable to relax in. The home is an area where you can walk around and look at many different small shops. If you’re into fishing it’s around 7 mins to get to a lake. It’s extremely relaxing to visit during the rainy days as well! I’ll most definitely be booking again in the future!!

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for my recent business trip. The neighborhood itself is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, ensuring a great night's sleep. What truly impressed me, however, was its fantastic location just a short drive from major roads. My daily commute to the offices was incredibly easy and stress-free. The place itself is lovely – very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable short stay while traveling. I truly appreciated having all the essentials readily available. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat that still offers excellent connectivity. We stayed here for 5 weeks in between moving out of a rental house and moving into a new home. This was the perfect option for us. The size of the house was great, it was very clean and comfortable. We have a toddler and the location was ideal - there is a playground just 3-4 houses down! And, it's near grocery stores etc etc. Sadiksha was incredibly responsive when we had minor maintenance issues and things were taken care of promptly.

Thos home was so perfect for myself and six of my family members. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and really well put together. The beds were so comfortable and the host was super responsive. I don't have anything negative to say about our experience at all. The area is super close to a large shopping area so it was easy to get to food and anything else we needed.

Breat and Carla were wonderful hosts! The house is full of fun things to do from the game room to the EXTREMELY comfortable couches and chairs. Brent and Carla's thoughtful touches from the pantry items to the welcome gifts made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. They were great communicators and the home guide anticipated any question we might have had. It was a great stay for the seven of us and dogs!

This was very cute place. Very clean. Minimal traffic. Very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views of the sky and fields. The only things we had a problem with was the master bedroom bed was firm so we slept in the other large bedroom and Internet was slow at times when it was pouring raining. Other than that it was a great stay. We would recommend and would stay again.

We stayed at the Owl's nest for an unexpected funeral nearby at a Quantico as we needed a location that was also dog friendly. Elizabeth was super responsive, kind and gracious and made us feel right at home. The area in general is pretty suburban, not many sidewalks/places to walk, but also very quiet and lots of sounds of nature surrounded us which was exactly what we needed. We saw many deer out back and even a cute little fox explored behind the property which was an unexpected treat one morning. You're about 15-20 min from Wegmans, Target and other stores, gas etc, but there's not much in Triangle itself so plan accordingly. We didn't get the change to check out the nearby National Park but it looked really pretty from pictures we saw online. The in-law suite is a second floor attached on the back of an existing home up a series of stairs/decks. For us, it was perfect for what we needed but I think for two couples the living area would get tight if weather forced you indoors.

I want to gatekeep this place so it’s always available when I want it. Pann and Richard are the most kind, thoughtful, and considerate people I have come across in the Airbnb world, and even in my own world. There are so many beautiful and thoughtful touches in this home, and we were lucky to have two separate one-week stays over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. This is Nobel-level Airbnbing. We were so reluctant to leave. From the warm and welcoming basement to the minimalist but perfectly outfitted kitchen to the comfortable beds and perfect shower (and bidet and seat heater omg. All y’all better treat that thing right so it works forever!) this is the only place for me to be in Herndon. I am eager to come back in warm months so that we can enjoy the deck in the pool.

There are so many wonderful things about this place, but ill try to be brief. The house itself is gorgeous and felt like home. It was nestled on a hill and felt very secluded and peaceful, despite being in the middle of so much to do. The walkability was incredible! Every day I walked to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and shopping. I brought my dog and its a very dog friendly area!! Lots of hiking around, as well. The town of occoquan is filled with shops and historic attractions. The host was very friendly and responsive, too! I can't say enough good things about this stay - highly recommend!

We felt welcome at Chris's place and by the host himself who was helpful, responsive and friendly. Clifton is a pretty little railroad historic town not far from there. The area has lovely trails and a micro winery. We definitely recommend to visit and stay at Chris's place. The place was tastefully decorated, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and linens; kitchen had all we needed for our stay.. Very quiet surroundings. We run on the trails of the two parks in the area, beautiful with the bluebells at this time of the year and the Bull Run River. Our main purpose for visiting was a trail race that happens every year in the park and the weather was perfect on the day. Overall we had a great stay and time in Clifton and at Chris's place.

I enjoyed my stay and was surprised when John on his own sent me a list of things to do and restaurants around the area. He was very helpful to make sure I had all I needed in the house. The place was clean and well maintained. No complaints, definitely recommend if you want to be near DC but not stay in the DC area to rest.
