The mountain house is located in the heart of the Northern Velebit National Park, on the Veliki Alan pass. It is surrounded by forest and wildlife. It is located on the route of the Via Dinarica mountain traverse. By visiting the transversal, you can enjoy the beauty of nature: dazzling sea views, dark depths of forests or stunning stone sculptures. Although the house is in the woods, it has a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. If you enjoy swimming, you only need half an hour by car to bathe in it.

This is a miniature house built from an old refrigerator built into stone walls. All furniture, carpentry and decorations are handmade. In front of the cottage there is a small lake full of life and a large olive grove. Behind the cottage grows a small pine forest. Guests have at their disposal 2000 m2 of garden. The cottage is located outside the village, about 1km from the sea (2 min. by car). The market is about 1.5 km away. The city of Krk and Malinska 14 km, ferry port Valbiska 6.3 km.

For us, the best feature is that it’s one of the few remaining bits of intact nature and isolation with a great connection to the seaside, mountains and urban areas. We love that limited and simple space makes us rethink the optimal amount of material things we actually need. For those arriving during the full moon period, the atmosphere is spectacular :)
