Vacation rentals in Preiļi Municipality

Visited for the 2nd time, this time during the weekdays. We were the only ones there. Might be due to recent start of the school year, but this place needs to be known more. IMHO - One of the utmost "peace & serenity" places in the country. It has everything you might need or want to relax from the city hype. Sauna, place and equipment for a bbq, lake for swimming, SUPing, boating or anything else you might want - check, check, check and check again. Disregarding the longer trip from the capital (roughly 2.5-3h trip), I highly recommend the place for anyone who's looking for a perfect place for a nature retreat. Added "mega bonus" - PET FRIENDLY, so bring your buddies along.

Very nice host with beautiful Scandinavian style houses, place was very cozy and warm. Easy to find location. All the necessary items for cooking, bed linens etc were at the cabin. We also used sauna which was easy to operate with and was ready to use in less than one hour.

It is really an amazing place in Latgale, a hidden gem. Calm and inspirational. Owners invested 20 years of their life to save and improve this architectual wonder. Sustainable lifestile, all items are either restored or re-used, representing different times in the past. Sleeping in the room with so high ceiling was an experience on its own. Home made breakfest, stories and discussions with owners - we felt like a family. Traditional black sauna and cooling down by swimming in Dubna river was a nice touch, as from my childhood memories. I will come back again. Thanks!

The location of the place is perfect if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of the city - peaceful, green and with a beautiful view. There was an opportunity to use both the sauna and the cube and watch the beautiful sunset. The place was well equipped and tastefully decorated, the stay was very comfortable. Only thing was the water quality in the bath room could have been a little better.

No wonder everyone gave a 5 stars to this place, it really is one of a kind.Everything went smooth, the black sauna is supreme. The home-made stew tasted wonderful. Great massage. Alvis is kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Alvis and Ilze!

Petrovka is a wonderful place with magnificent view on the lake, close to nature where one can disconnect from everyday worries. The hosts were attentioned and nice, we felt more than welcome (even if our arrival was very late) and even a little sad we did not have kids to enjoy all the activities designed for them: games, rabbits etc. Thank you for the peaceful time and rest!

This is a really peaceful place where you can relax and be far away of any problem. Never stayed at such place before. The house are directly next to the wonderful lake. Simple but with all comfort and equipment you need in this place. Renting the SUP I'd a good idea to explore the lake. Ed is a very friendly and helpful host. We will keep this place in best memories.

Our stay at this retreat cottage was just great! The cottage was very clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful — the perfect place to disconnect from the daily rush. There is a magical view of the lake from the terrace. The hosts were very kind and responsive. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near nature! Will definitely be back!
