“This place has the most breathtaking view! What a dream to wake up to it each morning and the sunsets are spectacular. The room itself is perfect. Lots of small touches that helped make our stay even better such a luggage holder, hairdryer, etc. They even had a juicer in the room so I bought oranges at the local market to bring back and make some fresh squeezed orange juice in the mornings! There were a lot of stairs and preceded by a sloped walk up from the nearby bus stop so we were definitely out of breathe when we got back to our room but like others have mentioned it is worth it for the view. we personally loved Praiano and had a wonderful meal at each of nearby restaurants. Definitely check out Kasai for dinner and Bar del Sole for a sunset cocktail. Giovanni was very kind upon arrival. He greeted us, helped us with our luggage and provided fresh lemonade and local tips upon our arrival. Couldn’t recommend Calante Luna enough!!”
La Rosa dei Venti lies in Vettica Maggiore di Praiano. This is a small house in rural surroundings right at the edge of the village, in a very panoramic and tranquil position. From the garden you enjoy a view of the Gulf of Positano and from here you look straight towards the point where the sun goes down.
“It’s all true. The steps are plentiful but all delivering beautiful views and interesting ceramic outdoor wall art along the way. It’s also true. The view are to die for. Glorious is an understatement. And it’s also true Carolina is pure delight. She is welcoming, warm and incredibly hospitable. She delivered a wonderful pizza for our dinner one night but it was the generous bowl of fruit on the kitchen table that made my day. The accomodation is modest, but has all you would need for a most comfortable stay. The Path of the Gods just on your back door step too. We managed to do the walk from Our digs to Positano, a full day boat trip to Capri, a bus trip to Ravello and Amalfi plus loads of exploring of Praiano. It is a perfect base if you like a more gentler experience. I would recommend this accomodation and you’ll be in Rich warm Italian hands if you do. Thanks Carolina.”
The Dimora degli Dei (75 sqm) is an amazing house located in Praiano's cente, in the heart of the enchanting Amalfi Coast. It is an old house of 1779century restored in an original way as shown by the inside cupoloni, characteristic of the area.
“This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Anna’s place was an absolutely perfect location, with beautiful views, and great little touches to the house. Anna provided us with bus schedules, fresh fruit, tomatoes from her garden, croissants, books, board games, restaurant recommendations, even bathroom necessities like a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a little loofah. We cannot stop talking about how wonderful Anna was , she was a ray of sunshine and personally checked us in and showed us around. Kasai was a great restaurant up the road, and there’s delicious pizza just up the steps. We booked Praiano because we couldn’t find anything in Almalfi and planned to spend the days, bussing to and from Almalfi, but Praiano was so beautiful, quiet, and less touristy we just stayed there the whole time and are so glad we did. We enjoyed one fire beach, cafe mirante, and the path of the gods, which was strenuous but a highlight of our honeymoon. I can’t wait to look back on the pictures. Thank you Anna!”
