Our Beautiful Beach House

Our beautiful beach house in the Algarve, which used to belong to our beloved grandparents, is located in a resort in the Alvor which is 68km (about 50mins by car/transfer) from Faro’s airport. It’s one of the most beautiful parts of Portugal. The house has an amazing view over an open garden and to the ocean. The beach and the swimming pools are all less than a 5min walk.

A magical cottage with a private patio in the heart of the walled old town – seconds away from all the fun, food and shopping and only 10 minutes to the nearest beach, but tucked away on a quiet cobbled street. I bought the cottage as a ruin in 2016 and have lovingly refurbished it using local craftsmen and materials. I hope you enjoy the transformation as much as I do!
