Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Positano

We had a fantastic time here! The room was cozy and had an incredible view. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Annamaria packed up our leftover pastries from breakfast for us to take to Pompeii and helped arrange a taxi to the train station. Their place is easily accessible from public transport or a short drive from the train station. I would highly recommend staying here!

Wow, what a wonderful stay. The villa and grounds are gorgeous - pictures cant convey how beautiful and peaceful the villa is. Tucked away in a little village above…. Accessible by taxi, bus, or you can walk up from Positano. Much preferred this location to the crowds of the Amalfi coast. Great location as you are alrady at the top of the mountain and can easily walk to the path of the gods and hiking trails. Regarding service: Antonia and her husband were outstanding hosts, met us on arrival and treated us like family! Always available with suggestions for things to do and places to visit/eat during our time together. Speaking of food, the breakfast each morning was AMAZING….served outdoors on the patio overlooking the mountains/sea…. Each day provided varying selection of fruits, fresh squeezed juice, eggs, vegetables, meats, toast, coffee, cakes, sometimes a treat from their family restaurant down the road (best in ITALY, do not miss it)….OH, my mouth is watering.

Irma's place exceeded my expectations. Not only was the place as described, super clean with beautiful surroundings, but also Irma made us feel right at home. She was very helpful, responsive and a great host! I would stay at this place again, no doubt about it.

Alfonso made us feel like family the minute we walked in! He had helped arrange a car for us after we landed in Naples. Our ride to his place was seamless. His cute place is in the heart of Sorrento, super walkable and close to all the shops, restaurants, train station, scooter rentals, marina, etc. The B&B is on one of the top floors of Alfonso’s building. There is a shared kitchen supplied with coffee, milk, juices, fresh fruit, muffins eggs, etc that you can eat. Our room was basic but had the essentials, and the king size bed was so comfy and perfect to drop into after a long day of exploring the coast. There is terrace on the rooftop perfect for sharing a bottle of wine or sharing in the celebrations of the square - Napoli win the league championship while we were there and it was quite the celebration to watch from the terrace!! I realized I had forgotten to book a boat tour and Alfonso and his son too care of us, booking us with a great company on short notice. We will be back!!

One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at in all of my travels. Let’s start with the fact that to check in, Sylvia’s mom the nice Italian grandmother is super friendly and will guide you. Next, the location is near the center but perfectly located so it’s in a quiet corner. From the port, once you take the funicular it’s a 4 minute walk. I loved the location as I could go to the center, anacapri and always go back and forth. As for the place, it was super clean and I mean very I checked every corner. The place is perfect, I was one person and you have everything as the photos: 2 beds, 2 floors, big bathroom, kitchen, etc. As for the host Sylvia, she would always ask how I was and recommend me local things to do which I really appreciated. The location is so convenient you have time to literally walk to all the main attractions: Viewpoints, funicular, Gardens of Augustus, etc. This Airbnb was super safe and I definitely recommend staying here as it is hard to find everything I got!

clean place, with a picturesque decoration, the only point is that the shower water only has 50 liters hot, so for 2 people it is necessary to take a quick shower so as not to happen what happened to us on the first day, only I was able to take the hot shower, because after the boiler takes time to heat up, the person who received us very friendly, I recommend to everyone

It was a real pleasure to stay 3 nights in this beautiful apartment. The bedroom was spacious and spotless, so was the bathroom and kitchen. Valentina was particularly welcoming and very clear about the instructions. She also gave me tips on what to do in Naples and in the neighborhood. It was one of the best AirBnb I had. To say this place was the perfect stay in Positano would be an understatement! The location was perfect- easily walkable to some of the best restaurants, you could walk up the road to get back and forth from the main beach instead of having to climb a million stairs, and it’s far enough from the bottom part of town that you get away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds from the day trippers. The entire staff was amazing and don’t even get me started on the homemade breakfast every morning- INCREDIBLE! If you are on the fence about booking this place, don’t be, just book it now! Moving forward, we will always stay here each time we return to Positano! Thank you for an amazing place to stay! :)

We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Such a peaceful location in the hills, where we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace every morning with gorgeous views. The room was spacious, clean and airy - and was even lovely to be in on the odd rainy day. Tea and coffee facilities, plates and cutlery and the mini fridge was enough for us to have some meals in. Despite the language barrier Letizia was a joy to be around and so friendly. Nothing was too much. Apartment is located in a great spot and a 10 minute walk into town. Definitely need to be able to walk up/down stairs to get there, but there is a bus and golf cart to help with luggage. We found Minori to be a lovely, more local place to rest and explore the rest of the Amalfi coast from. Thanks Letizia and Roberta!

Wow, what an amazing experience. The sea view was better than expected. Really feels like you landed in paradise. Fabio cooked the most amazing dinner for us and was so warm and passionate throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

This room offers the best view of the Mediterranean Sea in all of Salerno. I highly recommend this place to stay. Rossana is always attentive to every detail.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and located in a perfect spot with breathtaking views. It’s the kind of setting that makes you want to wake up early just to enjoy the scenery. The host was truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

This airbnb was perfect for our honeymoon. The room and bathroom are beautiful and the private balcony has an amazing view of the water and the colorful buildings of Positano. The apartment is a short walk down to the city center and down to the main beach/port which was very convenient. As others have said before, Soso, the host, really goes above and beyond for the stay. He prepares a beautiful breakfast with coffee every morning and is so helpful for recommendations on places to eat or things to do. We wanted to do a beach club and he called his friend on the pot and helped us get a reservation day of. We could not have asked for a better stay and would stay here again if we have the chance. Cannot say enough nice things about our stay and wish we could go back already.

Our favorite stay in all of Italy!! Costanzo and his family truly went above and beyond for us. Impeccable service, stunning views, and a beyond beautiful property. The room was spotless and the amenities were better than described. Costanzo helped us arrange lunch and dinner reservations as well, all of which were wonderful. Wow! What a place. The B&B is super traditional, you're staying in a piece of Italy's history. The room was cleaned daily and they left breakfast each morning. A constant supply of homemade cakes, yoghurt and lots of other bits grown on the land. Location was perfect. Restaurants, shops and a bakery close by. It's a ten min walk into the centre of Meta. It was bigger than we expected, with plenty of restaurants and a beach. The views as you drive in from Naples are incredible! The train station is a ten min walk from the b&b and it's only two stops to Sorrento. The bus is also really easy (cash only) - we used that to get back to Meta one evening. The best part of the stay was Chris & Angela. What incredible hosts. They gave us lots of recommendations that meant we got to see the real Italy, rather than just the tourist spots. We would recommend following their advice as they know the area so well. Thank you for having us, we'll be back!

Our stay was awesome! It is in a great location, very walkable with lots of restaurants/ shops. It was very clean and there was even some free snacks. The host was flexible and let us check in early!

I was able to have a friendly and warm experience in an Italian home. With thoughtful guidance both inside and outside the host, I stayed like my home for a comfortable two-night stay, and the furnishings in the room were well-equipped, so there was no inconvenience. I would highly recommend it if my friends visit Naples.

Ivan’s place feels more like a beautiful hotel than an Airbnb. It is private, offers amazing views to the ocean, and has beautiful terraces where you can hang out and enjoy the sunset or have dinner. Make sure you ask for their other services they offer because they can set you up with tours, vespa rentals, among other things. They are locals and know the best places! Furthermore, Ivan and Rosaria are really kind people who will go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Me and my wife had a perfect time in there.

Place was great and one of the best views I have ever seen. Always had snacks and coffee available and restocked the kitchen frequently. Air conditioning was very nice and the shower was great. Walk was not great up to the place with luggage but without luggage it was not too bad. Had a great stay overall!

Giuseppe from the start was helpful, informative and very approachable. With great coffee for breakfast and very fresh pastries, along with a comfortable room we would not hesitate to revisit.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Camilla is an absolute gem and was proactive and helpful even prior to our arrival. She is very sweet and greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our rooms. They were pristine with beautiful views of the coast. The location is about a 15-20 minute drive from Piazza Tasso but it makes the accommodations that much more peaceful and relaxing. We stayed with 3 little kids and she honestly was so accommodating with breakfast (everyone had different preferences). I would highly recommend Camilla and Villa Maiki.

Marvelous discovery in Capri, Angelo and Giulia have an amazing place to treat yourself to a wonderful vacation, beautiful and spot clean apartment with everything you would want for a vacation absolutely perfect !!!!they were also very helpful with the tips they gave us on what to do and how to do it to get around Capri on the cake and the icing on the cake was our breakfast pastries baked by Angelo himself… so congratulations and wish you all the luck!

The best Airbnb I have stayed at! It was so beautiful, peaceful with exceptional attention to every possible detail (iron, hair dryer, etc). I relaxed in the hammock in their beautiful gardens. The breakfast was delicious and huge! All fresh ingredients, served with pride. The hosts were always readily available to answer questions or book reservations. Antonino was kind enough to both pick me up at the bus stop, and deliver me to the train station so I didn’t have to walk with my bags. A quick 10 min walk to transport connects you with Sorrento, but Piano is a lovely little town too- with less tourists. I would love to return to Villa Maresca some day!
