The location was perfect — close to the Co-op for easy shopping and just a 15-minute walk to East Wittering and the beach, which was ideal for our family day out. George met us at the house with the keys, and he was very welcoming, showing us around and explaining how everything worked, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. There was a lovely little park across the street which the children appreciated. The hot tub was definitely the highlight for the children—they absolutely loved it! The property had everything we needed for a short, relaxing break, and we really appreciated that we could have brought our dog along. Overall, a lovely stay in a great spot. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon!

We enjoyed our stay at Andy & Rosie's thanks to the great location and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base for Goodwood, which was a short drive away. The local golf club being so close was also a bonus. The accommodation itself was well furnished and spacious and check in was made simple with the clear instructions and Andy's welcoming greeting on arrival.

Beautiful, secluded weekend getaway! Saw lots of wildlife within the fields and the accommodation was lovely. Outside bath was extra special.

So nice to unwind, listen to the birds and decompress. Exactly what was needed with our hectic lives and schedules. Loved the quiet location and that our dogs could walk around the golf course and woods. Only recommendation we would make is a little freshen up and updating in some areas, like sealant around the bath (which was great by the way after a long day!) Having milk when we arrived was well appreciated, if there was a complimentary starter pack of some small jams/butter and scones - I'd give you 5* here! But a great stay nonetheless. Really comfortable.

Lovely peaceful weekend away. The place was very clean and beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Both lulu and russ were very welcoming and helpful. We used the hot tub on the Saturday and would recommend booking this. The location is great - very peaceful and a 5min drive from the beach and pubs in walking distance. We look forward to returning!

We spent a lovely long weekend in the house catching up with friends. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, and the room with twin beds was perfect for our 7 year olds. There is a patch of grass to play on, but by where you park the cars, not next to the house. Wasn’t a problem for us as we went out during the day, but in case that’s a necessity for you.

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

Honeysuckle Cottage is on the main road through East Meon but once inside it is quiet. All the furnishing and equipment are good quality and although the cottage is small, there is plenty of storage and it has everyone needed for a relaxing weekend. As others have said the second bedroom is very small but our son and his girlfriend slept comfortably and had enough space for their clothes. The garden is secure, so perfect for our dog. It’s also a sun trap so we were able to enjoy relaxing outside even though it wasn’t particularly hot weather. There are many excellent walks on the doorstep with stunning views. We were able to eat at The George on a couple of evenings and didn’t use our cars all weekend, which was just perfect. We did not park our cars on the main road but there’re plenty of places to park in the village, including the car park.

Caroline was a very kind and accommodating host; we felt right at home in her beautiful slice of the South Downs. The house is small but cosy and well-equipped with everything you might need. The garden is a particular attraction for families in the summer months - look out for the tortoise!

We couldn’t have asked for a better cottage in a breathtaking location. Lindy’s place was truly exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. Lindy was so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to meet her. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for two days on this occasion, but what an amazing two days they were. Beautiful location and the host added very thoughtful amenities like a choice of bubble baths to choose from, a massager machine, fans in every bedroom which was very much needed during this heatwave. The choice of teas and coffees were amazing too.

We had a great stay – the house had everything we needed and was really well laid out. The garden was lovely and the BBQ was a great bonus. Would definitely recommend!

We had a very pleasant stay. The location is quiet and peaceful setting. The beach is within walking distance which was ideal for our dog. The weather was good so we made use of the garden. A perfect base for travelling

The perfect house for a family gathering - 9 adults and 2 dogs. Spacious, clean, well-equipped house with lots of indoor and outdoor games, room for 9 of us to dine easily, well-equipped kitchen, 2 comfortable sitting rooms, separate annexe with lots of things to do and gym equipment. Beds all very comfortable. The highlight for us on a beautiful sunny weekend was the garden - large grassy area for games and play, mature flowerbeds, 2 large tables, shed full of garden toys. There was also a bbq area and children's outdoor equipment. Jo responded quickly to any messages, but her clear instructions and detailed information meant there were very few questions. She also gave many ideas for walks, restaurants etc.

We had such a lovely stay at Linda’s place! Even before the trip, communication was super quick, friendly, and accommodating. Linda went out of her way to answer all our questions and offer tips for the area—and kindly offered us an early check-in, which was really appreciated. The welcome goodies (and the cute stickers for the boys!) were such a thoughtful touch. The bungalow itself was perfect for our trip—comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We even met Linda’s partner Keith on the way out, who was just as lovely—really friendly and chatty. Thank you, Linda, for a wonderful stay. Would absolutely recommend!

If you are looking for a home from home or an upgrade from home, this is the place to stay. Arrived from Melbourne and immediately settled into the joy of living in the countryside. Although too cold to enjoy the pool, we did use the tennis court and shot some hoops. We walked to Old Thorns Golf and Country Club and can recommend Katie's Coffee bar. It's an easy walk amongst stunning scenery. We walked back via the Foley Estate from the Deers Hut pub. Liphook is so lucky to have not one but two stunningly beautiful golf courses. If their is a heaven on earth, we must have stayed in its guest house!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Stables. The cottage was immaculately clean and well presented with a welcoming vase of fresh flowers on the kitchen table and some milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The pool was amazing, so relaxing, our daughter loved it. Lots of local walks from our doorstep that our dog loved with a very friendly cafe/ shop in the next village. The online guide with a map and list of different places to eat and visit was very useful and having it on my phone meant it was easy to refer to.

Such a find - we absolutely loved this airbnb! Firstly the design was amazing, looks like beach huts and yet the inside was so spacious and filled with light that it was like a hidden gem. Amazing amenities - pool, tennis court and beautiful walks on the doorstep. The area was so lovely and quiet and I could immediately feel myself relaxing the moment we arrived. The property has everything that you could possibly need, a little home away from home and I loved all the little design touches - you could really tell that so much care had been taken to make the space welcoming. Everything was super clean and Helen was a lovely host, always responsive and friendly! I absolutely loved the digital guidebook which was so useful for our stay, especially finding the best pubs and restaurants in the area. We hope to be back soon!

Fantastic location for walking & exploring. The barn is beautifully presented and stylishly furnished. Very spacious. Loved seeing the Llamas on our morning walk with our dog - on our doorstep. The New Inn pub down the road - Victoria’s tip - awesome, friendly, great food at a sensible price - try the venison or brill filets! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for longer. We stayed here as a family for a special birthday treat. The pool was fantastic and clean, and kids loved it! House was warm and inviting. Beds were comfortable with excellent pillows! The house is a bit tired in places but doesn't affect a short stay. None of the tv's work, no signal at all so seemed strange to have 4. This was the first air bnb we have stayed in where there wasnt a few tea bags to start us off, and the first time we didnt bring any - as you can tell, only small issues. Overall, a fabulous stay - would recommend!

We had a perfect stay at Tara’s place — it was relaxing, comfortable, and we were surrounded by beautiful countryside. We especially loved sitting out on the deck in the sunshine, taking in the views, and listening to the peaceful sounds around us. Tara was a fantastic host — so friendly and welcoming, and she instantly made us feel at home. It was also such a treat to meet her beautiful dog, Sula! We really enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and at the tennis court, and it was even warm enough to have a little swim in the pool. The walk through the fields to the local pub was stunning and made our stay even more special. Thank you for the idillic stay!
