Family-friendly vacation rentals in Porto de Mós

The hosts were very nice and always responsive. The apartment and pool area were as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, there were many flies in the area in July, and an insect repellent spray is helpful. Nevertheless, our stay was very nice and recommended the Airbnb.

Anne was super helpful and gracefully let me change my booking at the last minute. Quick to respond. Her 'assitant' Rachelle who was there and took care of the check-in was equally friendly and responsive. The apartment was great, ideal for a family of 4 or 5. One balcony looks directly out to the beach and the Atlantic, which is literally just across the road. Private, secure parking. Very clean. Very quiet in April. Nazare and the big waves (if you are lucky enough) are just 12 min drive down the road.

What an amazing stay! From the location, which embraces nature and brings incredible calm, to the house itself, equipped with all the necessary utensils for a perfect stay. I also have to thank Adriana and her father for the ease of communication and all the attention given! It will certainly be a place to visit again!

This is a beautiful home with lots of character and the hosts are nothing shy of amazing, they made us feel truly welcomed! Maria was extremely accommodating in helping us arrange transportation to where my brother was having his wedding, she herself drove 8 of my family members to the venue. She also made sure my entire family had breakfast from a local bakery on the day of the wedding which she once again picked up herself. Thank you again Maria,I will recommend your beautiful place to anyone looking for a larger place in a fantastic countryside setting. We will be staying at your place in the near future on our next family gathering.

Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

We were very well hosted by Mariana. His responsiveness to answering our questions was very satisfactory. The house is very large and we stayed at 12 adults and a baby without feeling cramped except in the kitchen ( but mine is big...). The covered and heated pool made us have a pleasant time. There are many activities such as the visits to Fatima, the castle of Ourem, the caves of Serra de Aire. We also enjoyed the market in Ourem on Thursday morning. The food served in restaurants is very good and above all abundant! If we come back to the area, we will return to this house! Thanks to Mariana and her husband for hosting us. Wonderful, clean and picturesque stay. Lovely views, clean rooms and furniture as well as a lovely host who welcomed us warmly.

Very good value for money: Car safe and right in front of your door parking. Private private space with spacious living room room with kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub and shower. Everything sparkling clean and beach with impressive high waves within walking distance. And all this for well under 60 euros. And not to mention : a very nice helpful hostess.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandra’s place. She was very friendly and attentive and made us feel at home. The accommodation is close to all the local shops and restaurants which was very convenient. It was fitted with everything you can possibly need including a full oven and washing machine. We highly recommend Sandra’s place to anyone visiting Nazaré.

What an experience! My children loved The Moinho Velho and the history that upholds it. Our sons enjoyed the antique CD/radio player, the attic, the koi pond, and the surroundings. I love that you can have both worlds, staying in a tranquil rural setting and about a 15-20min drive to urban amenities.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Everything was clean, cozy, and well organized. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely be happy to come back. Thank you for the great time!

Very nice cottage! Beautiful decor, lots of space to store things. Spacious bathroom, with enough hot water. Beautiful outdoor seating, swimming pool nicely maintained. Upon arrival there was some bread, water, fruit, jam,... super attentive! Highly recommended, very nice area, a 10-minute drive away you are in shops, restaurants,...

It was a great pleasure to host us in the space, extra points for the very tasteful decoration and with enormous attention to detail. We truly feel at home, it's to be repeated!

The space was impeccably clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals, and the cosy living area. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the breathtaking natural surroundings.

Very beautiful space, with a lovely garden, too small to be able to sit, rest and enjoy the view. The view is really wonderful! The accommodation was clean and beautifully decorated! A super complete breakfast! Would definitely recommend!

The house was exceptional. All the surroundings are wonderful and the house itself is spacious and very well taken care of. Elisabete is very helpful, so much so that last day there was a problem with general electricity and promptly tried to find a solution!

Great place and location. The hill to get up is very steep, make sure to get some speed when going up. We would definitely come back. Overall loved it

Great stay (two nights). Beautiful, both inside the property and outside. Super quiet location, perfect for escaping stress. Everything is just as shown in the photos. In fact, on the ground there are many pleasant surprises to explore that do not appear in the photos. Near Alcobaça where there are many places to eat. Clean house, air-conditioning perfectly heats the house (we went in February). The entire check-in and check-out was done without having to communicate with anyone. Very easy and practical. We didn't use the stove or the TV. Great experience, we intend to return.

We had a great stay. Olga was very welcoming, caring for our comfort and making sure we didn't miss anything. The house was very clean. The main activities are between 12 and 45 minutes away depending on the visits but very easy to access everything as long as you have a car.
