Family-friendly vacation rentals in Porto de Mós

Anne was super helpful and gracefully let me change my booking at the last minute. Quick to respond. Her 'assitant' Rachelle who was there and took care of the check-in was equally friendly and responsive. The apartment was great, ideal for a family of 4 or 5. One balcony looks directly out to the beach and the Atlantic, which is literally just across the road. Private, secure parking. Very clean. Very quiet in April. Nazare and the big waves (if you are lucky enough) are just 12 min drive down the road.

What an incredible stay! From the location, which embraces nature and brings incredible calm, to the house itself, equipped with all the utensils needed for a perfect stay. I also have to thank Adriana and her father for the ease of communication and all the attention given! For sure it will be a place to visit again!

This is a beautiful home with lots of character and the hosts are nothing shy of amazing, they made us feel truly welcomed! Maria was extremely accommodating in helping us arrange transportation to where my brother was having his wedding, she herself drove 8 of my family members to the venue. She also made sure my entire family had breakfast from a local bakery on the day of the wedding which she once again picked up herself. Thank you again Maria,I will recommend your beautiful place to anyone looking for a larger place in a fantastic countryside setting. We will be staying at your place in the near future on our next family gathering.

Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

Truly magical. A wonderful flat with everything you’d ever need with equal size terrace you could spend all day on. The view is spectacular. We didn’t want to leave. Parking was easy and there was a lovely bakery just a minute walk away. Edite was a wonderful host. Nazaré and its surroundings were beautiful and definitely a highlight of our trip.

we stayed for five nights, we were travelling around the area so we were just using it as a base. ideal location. The house is very near the square of North Nazare and the cliff railway. Marie and her husband always had time for a chat and their recommendations of places to visit were very welcome. lovely couple

I loved it, I went with my dog. Great for resting. You can take a walk around the space. I loved it.

Very interesting accommodation, lots of antique and original items, but unfortunately there is no place to store clothes and suitcases. The sleeping area is upstairs, it is impossible to lift suitcases there. The mill is old, so there is a musty smell. Beautiful garden.

Elisa's place is a beautiful, quiet, perfect home base for any stay in Nazaré. You can feel the care taken to ensure a great visit. It's just removed enough to feel very calm, but incredibly quick to get closer to the busier areas on foot. Comfy beds, common space to gather as a group. Would stay here again any day! Check out / support the specialty coffee shop Colour Beans & the surf school Surf4You! A driving note: Getting there by car can be difficult, but Elisa does a good job of assisting (she's very responsive and kind). You have to go up a small side street that looks like it may be a one way street to get to the garage entrance (then head inside to get the garage door opener from the apartment). Once you find it everything is smooth sailing. Very nice having a dedicated space for the car.

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

We loved the experience. Perfect location to relax and reconnect with nature. Regarding the location of the stay itself, it is perfect. Super original and organic decoration, with a community garden and local animals, namely two beautiful donkeys. We loved it and we'll be back with more friends! Thank you

The house is very spacious, the quantities of furnished dishes and linens are in sufficient quantity, the very good quality bedding. The shaded terrace allows you to spend days and evenings in complete tranquility. Shops are located 5 minutes by car. We highly recommend this house. Fernando the owner is always attentive and speaks French.

The space was impeccably clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals, and the cosy living area. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the breathtaking natural surroundings.

Would definitely stay there again. The home was very spacious and the hosts were great to deal with. Clean home, great pool, yard, swingset, bikes, two adorable goats and much more. We loved it. Thank you!

Very beautiful space, with a lovely garden, too small to be able to sit, rest and enjoy the view. The view is really wonderful! The accommodation was clean and beautifully decorated! A super complete breakfast! Would definitely recommend!

Excellent place to spend a vacation: swimming pool at the door; surrounded by the countryside and animals. Quiet space and although it has several houses, all visitors are extremely respectful of each space.

We had a great stay. Olga was very welcoming, caring for our comfort and making sure we didn't miss anything. The house was very clean. The main activities are between 12 and 45 minutes away depending on the visits but very easy to access everything as long as you have a car.
