House vacation rentals in Portland Parish

Helena's place was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. We took the entire place, but realize we only needed the upstairs suite after all. Located directly across from the Blue Lagoon's new official entrance gate and centrally located in Portland Parish, everything is within reach. amazing views all around, but breakfast on the patio facing the ocean was hard to beat. Miss Joyce's cooking, however, was the real highlight of our stay. She and Trina did an amazing job making us feel welcome and shared their traditional cuisine. The groundskeeper, Jullian, was excellent at coordinating activities during our visit. We had a truly amazing stay at Star San and hoping to be back one day.

My family and I came for a two day stay. Staying here exceed my ourexpectations. the property was truly amazing. The staff (Denny, Keith, and Karen) were awesome and made you feel at home. They answered all of our questions and provided superb service. Denny's cooking was awesome! I also liked the fact that it was a short walk from Frenchman's cove beach and a short drive from Blue Lagoon and Boston beach. This stay was a 11 out of 10 and we will be back again. I highly recommend!

I had heard of Shotover Gardens before and had my eye on a visit for a long time, so I was pleased when my visit turned out to be just as lovely as I expected. Even though it was only a short stay, Derick was an excellent host with great communication and spot-on directions. I was only there for a one day stay, but I still found the time to enjoy the lovely lawns and the swimming pool. The road to get to Shotover is a little rough in some parts but a car can make it if you drive carefully and take your time. An SUV will have no problems at all. If you are in doubt, Derick's transport rate from Port Antonio is extremely reasonable and can be utilised.

The place was peaceful, private and beautiful. The view was breathtaking.I would definitely re-booked.

The location was simply spectacular. All living spaces were spacious and clean. The lighting was amazing with views of the mountains on one side and Kingston downtown skyline on the other. The amenities were lovely and accessible. Having the restaurant located on the property was convenient for dining. Whenever we needed anything during our stay, the staff was always there to provide us with whatever we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful to us. Overall staying at Reggae Legends was enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to experience first class service with a fantastic view.

The open air floor plan was great ad the staff was attentive. Good value and the perfect spot for my elderly parents and young children to vacation together.

I was extremely skeptical about staying in an airbnb as I flew into JA on a last minute trip. First of all Kerris is an amazing host! He accommodated me in within a matter of 8-12 hours, that alone should tell you he is extremely attentive. The house is beautiful! The neighborhood is gorgeous! It is located in a gated community which is so reassuring given today’s times. The apartment is spacious, the neighbors are extremely respectful. It’s so quiet at night… the first night I was a little scared (lol I’m from NYC it’s literally NEVER QUIET) however it’s a peaceful quiet. Overall it was honestly an amazing stay I’d definitely rent again moving forward. Thanks Kerris & Team !

John's place is very private and peaceful. looks exactly as pictured. the neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful. Very close to everything needed with transportation. the back yard is private & Nice to sit outside at any time of day or night under the covered patio. Thanks for having us John :)

This place is a must go to for anyone wanting to see the true beautiful and peaceful mountain of Jamaica. The house itself is full of Alison art pieces which are really stunning. All the essentials were there and even though the weather wasn’t the great we still had an amazing time as we felt right at home. Oh and let me not forget how amazing the tangerines are and made wonderful breakfast/afternoon juice!

My month-long stay at Jacqueline's place from January 11th to February 11th, 2025, was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. Jacqueline is a truly exceptional host – warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, and even checked in periodically to see how my stay was going.Her kindness and hospitality was bar none. The property itself was exactly as described in the listing, and even better in person. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was perfect. The location was ideal, close to public transport and within easy reach of the downtown markets and shopping centers. I highly recommend Jacqueline's place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether you're visiting for a short trip or a longer stay like mine, you won't be disappointed. An amazing experience from beginning to end! We arrived in Port Antonio after landing in Kingston and were welcomed by Donae and her property management, Mario and Allauny. As girls we felt safe right away as there were locks on all doors as well as the gate. The hosts were very kind and responsive to any needs we had! Including directions, fresh linens, and laundry assistance. The property was well kept, clean and safe. Everything was better in person! Prime location for shops, nightlife and beaches. One of us had never been to Port Antonio and our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time and saw everything Portland had to offer. Our hosts accompanied us or dropped us off based on our preference. We were able to see Shan Shay Beach, Frenchman’s Cove, Blue Lagoon, and more with their expert guidance! We had planned to stay only 5 days at Donae’s but ended up extending to a 14 day stay with them! We will 100% book again and would recommend this stay for everyone!

This place was really awesome for our trip. The location was ideal for the university tour we came for and it was a really relaxing stay. we'll definitely book for our next trip back to Jamaica.

Kamali was an amazing host—attentive but not overbearing, always available if I needed any assistance. The place was exactly as described and in a nice, comfortable location. Plus, the unit was even more spacious than the photos suggested. Highly recommend!

Desmond’s place was spotless and comfortable. Desmond was very responsive. Roads in Jamaica are very bad, (not Desmond’s fault), but we had to cut short our stay because driving times to sites we wanted to see were longer than expected. Desmond was very accommodating, and provided a refund in accordance with AirBnB policy.

My stay was absolutely amazing! The space was spotless, well-maintained, and super comfortable, in a quiet, safe neighborhood that felt like home. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, welcoming me with fresh coconuts from the yard, bottled water, “cran wata,” and local snacks. A detailed guidebook made exploring a breeze. I loved the backyard filled with bush teas like fever grass, soursop, and cerasse. The Smart TV was Netflix-ready, AirPlay worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi was fast. A/C, cozy bedding, and all essentials, kitchen gear, washer/dryer, blow dryer, toiletries, were provided. Can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely return. Bonus: if you visit in the right season, you might enjoy June plum and bananas from the yard!

Patricia’s place in Kingston was perfect! The apartment was spotless. It was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The location couldn’t be better: safe, central, and close to everything I needed. Patricia was also an excellent host. She was super responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kingston!

WOW is all i can think of. I’ve been traveling to Portland for three years and typically stay either in port Antonio or by San San and so glad we decided to go more into the community. EXTREMELY close to Boston beach, great huts and winfred beach super local experience the home is BEAUTIFUL, modern, spacious and secure. Verandas on both the front and back ample space to park. Rooftop views GORGEOUS. Kitchen was my second fave to the rooftop. Literally want to buy a home just like this in the community. Will stay here any chance i get ! Noels family was very kind to us as well.

If I could give this place infinite stars ⭐️, I absolutely would. Kevin and Miss Myrtle, the incredible assistants who came with the home, made our vacation truly unforgettable. Miss Myrtle prepared the most delicious Jamaican dishes I’ve ever tasted, and Kevin was always available to help with anything we needed. The location was breathtaking. We kayaked on the Blue Lagoon every day, and I genuinely felt like I was in heaven. I hesitated to write this review because I’m afraid the secret will get out and the place won’t be available the next time we want to visit. But it would be selfish not to share such a special experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone with a family who wants to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

The accommodation is located in a beautiful place, but it is not easily accessible. We made it by car as we didn't have an SUV, but the road to the accommodation is really bad. The place is beautiful, so is the accommodation. You even have a personal waterfall at your disposal 🙂 . Staff very nice and helpful, nothing to complain about.

Moon Hill far exceeded expectations. Beautiful view, safe and friendly host. Ideal location and plenty of privacy. I look forward to returning.

We had a quick but amazing stay at Abigail's Strawberry Hill Villa. Both her and Winston were very attentive to communicate throughout the entire booking from start to finish. Upon arrival we were greeted by Winston and he even helped to arrange a nearby dinner reservation for us. The restaurant at Strawberry Hill Spa is a short walk away and has great food and amazing views of Kingston. The house was clean and each bed has its own bath. Thank you so much, will love to return next time in the area!
