We had a fantastic stay at Melograno! The place is located in the centre of Matera which was very convenient for my elderly parents. The accommodation has an amazing view of Matera, is beautifully decorated and it is exactly how is shown on the photos. Anna is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place 100%. Francesca

Very clean, tastefully decorated. Nice landlady. Area very nice and quiet. Lots of mosquitoes that can be expelled with mosquito spray and candles! Windows had all the mosquito nets, which was great. It had some bikes, unfortunately partly in poor condition. Initially the village helpful gas station that offers bicycle service. The long sandy beach almost empty at the end of October, beach cafe still open, pizzeria original and very delicious. We had a great stay!

If you are visiting Matera and want to be in the center of the Sassi, this location is ideal. The space is clean, beautiful and well appointed. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is hot and powerful. The kitchen is well stocked and Giuseppe left us snacks and beverages to welcome us. Note: Follow Giuseppe’s instructions on how to arrive at the apartment. GPS will get you there but on a much more difficult route to traverse with luggage.

I stayed in Stefania's apartment for the second time after four years. It is a perfect nest in the middle of the sensational old town, the Sassi of Matera. Very quiet location with an almost fairytale view of the old district and the gorge on the outskirts. A special highlight is the large terrace. Here you can read wonderfully under the umbrella, laze or drink an apero (except at lunchtime. Then it's too hot even under the umbrella). The apartment is conveniently furnished. If you don't need a lot of luxury, Stefania will certainly feel comfortable.

Angelo is a very polite and gracious host. The house is modern, clean, and well equipped. Location is quiet, safe, and very convenient. We stayed for a few days and it served as the perfect home base for us to go visit various places of interest around Puglia. We will definitely return the next time that we're in the area.

The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated, with such thoughtful attention to detail that made us feel right at home. They even left us a generous selection of treats, which was such a sweet touch! The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of Matera, making it easy to explore this stunning city. Everything was excellent, the apartment exceeded our expectations, the view from the balcony is a 1000, at night you stare at the Sasso and you feel like you're in a movie. Luciano was an excellent host, he was waiting for us in the main square 50 meters from the apartment. He explained what to do very kindly, and he also offered to keep the car in a parking lot near the accommodation and gave us a voucher for breakfast!!! You can't ask for more!!! Highly recommended and we will surely be your guests again.

The house is very nice, clean and equipped with everything you need. We were in two families and we were very comfortable in the townhouse. Each room has mosquito nets, and air conditioning, the outdoor space is equipped with a table and armchairs for dinners or breakfasts. The village has a shared pool and a tennis court.

An inviting front patio features two wooden rocking chairs positioned on a stone surface. Warm, ambient lighting is provided by string lights above. A small table displaying beverages complements the outdoor seating area, while double doors lead into the interior space.

Honestly it was one of the best apartment I have ever stayed in. Beach over the street, cool outside shower, lovely interior with a mix of old charmful furnitures and modern elements, privacy but with the italian atmosphere around. The host was super cool and all the time available. I would recommend everyone to stay here.

We had a lovely stay at Manuela's place. The apartment, house and garden are wonderful. We felt very comfortable and at home. We also enjoyed the exchange with Manuela, her tips and information about the region. Highly recommended. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice masseria and fridge full of groceries produced by them. Very well-stocked apartment (coffee maker, quality foam shower, fruit, eggs from their chickens, coffee, oil, salt, dish cleaning products, biscuits, taralli,...). Great suggestion of the free beach. Enchanting!

This is an accommodation where I felt at home for 3 nights and 4 days. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, and the bathroom was very clean. They even prepared enough fruit and water coffee sweets, so I enjoyed it during my stay.
