The apartment is spacious and has everything you need including a washing machine. The views are fantastic and everything is a quick walk or drive down the hill. Be aware, if you don't have a car - while it is very close to town, the hill is very steep if you have heavy luggage. Great exercise though! Loved Picton and this airbnb.

A beautiful home in a great location. If you a looking for peace, views, space for everyone and a beach location then this is a great spot. We really enjoyed how spacious the house is, and having two bathrooms and two living areas made for fewer teenage squabbles and a more relaxing time for all. The deck is a great spot to relax in the sun. We also admired the skilful craftsman ship that has gone into renovating this grand dame of a villa. Our bikes had a sheltered spot under the deck and we enjoyed connecting up with and exploring the cycle trails (although there is a bit of road to navigate before you get to them). All in all it was a superb stay and we were sad to leave. Claire is a great host.

We have stayed in airbnb’s here in NZ, Australia and Canada. Nigel’s place was by far the best we have stayed in. The place was so well equipped and a pleasure to stay in. Nigel was extremely responsive and full of suggestions to fill in our days outings. We were right at home and hardly had a meal out choosing to stay in, take in the view, enjoy a local wine 🍷 and utilize the chef friendly kitchen. We will be back and are already planning our next trip.

Jenny’s place was exactly as described — and even better. Perfect location, spotlessly clean, cosy, and welcoming. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Check-in was really easy, communication with Jenny was great, and she had a fantastic list of local recommendations waiting for us on arrival. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful two-night stay! The location was absolutely ideal—just a short drive from the ferry terminal, making it super convenient to explore the town and waterfront. Despite being close to everything, the house was quiet at night. If you're visiting Picton, we highly recommend this spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location, very comfortable lounge and nice outdoor area too. John's apartment is very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely holiday. The bedroom upstairs is fab and the bed was super comfy. Our boat is in Waikawa so we couldn't ask for a more perfect location. Thanks John!

Wonderful place! It’s spacious, has great amenities, beautiful view of Cook Strait (and can hear the water from the place and it’s only a few hundred meter walk to get to the water from the back patio), and is so clean. In addition, Melanie makes you feel special with a personal welcome, robes, and a lot of breakfast items to make it feel like home. Mel’s communication is proactive and responsive, and she’s great to communicate with. Absolutely great place and like a 5-Star Hotel. Would recommend to anyone and would happily stay again.

Clean and modern house with excellent views of Queen Charlotte Sound. Just a few minutes drive from town.

This place is a gem. We had such a great stay. The location was perfect, a beautiful part of the country and so peaceful. We enjoyed waking to the tui's in the trees out front. The house was cosy and had everything we need. Great host and very responsive. We will be back.
