House vacation rentals in Port Louis

Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice he booked all our excursions for us, including the restaurant reservation, taxi and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly as described. I highly recommend it.

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

Exceptional location, straight out of a dream (or a postcard you don't want to leave). The garden is a little slice of heaven, maintained by a gardener of extreme kindness – we almost wanted to invite him to an aperitif! No negative points... except that you have to leave at some point (and that's cruel) Anyway, we'll be back, that's obvious!

Listing exactly as pictured Very nice location. Too bad the cleaning isn't done before the tenants arrive. When you arrive on the island after 48 hrs of travel and 8hrs time lag it's a shame to find a place with no people on site to welcome you and I had to wait 45 minutes for the keys . What a shame such a beautiful place very well located with everything you need for a good holiday You have to review the staff who manage the property, it's just not possible. I would definitely stay again but before I would take all the precautions so as not to suffer any of these inconveniences. We are very happy with our stay at this fantastic villa. The villa has everything you need. The host are very nice with good communication. Thanks to Norberg we felt very welcomed and got good recomendations for restaurants and trips. The villa is in a quiet, safe, private area. You have a nice small beach in walkdistance. And the view is absolutley amazing with perfect sunset. The host let us check out late on our departureday when we had an eveningflight, with no extra charge. We definitely recomend this place!!

We had a great time for 11 days! Nash is a very responsive and friendly host just like his father who was very welcoming. The accommodation is even better than the photos knowing that we are looking for private and peaceful accommodation, which made the stay very enjoyable especially by the pool. It would have been even better if the pool could be heated, especially in this winter period! Thank you so much for everything and maybe see you soon☺️

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa 69. The villa was perfect and my daughter loved being able to swim everyday. We loved all the wildlife, the beautiful gardens and the quiet peaceful Surroundings. It is safe to say we did not want to leave. Thank you!

The small cottage of Jf and Kareen more than convinced us with its very own charm, a great layout and its optimal location. It was clean, neat and lovingly furnished. The hosts didn't promise too much, were themselves very friendly, courteous and always available for questions. Would recommend this place with a clear conscience at any time 😊

Kavita, Priscille and Usha were very nice, helped us finding our way to restaurants and other things in the neighbourhood. Very clean and looked after location directly at a small beach. Restaurants at walking distance. Very nice house!

Here's a rewrite of your text: We had an exceptional stay of more than two weeks with our two children (1 year and 4 years). Amreen is an extremely warm and welcoming person. She made our stay as simple and enjoyable as possible. Whenever we needed help, his responses were quick and effective. We were confined in the apartment for a day or two because of the cyclone, but the quality of the accommodation, including the pool, allowed us to enjoy anyway. Amreen was very thoughtful and cared for our well-being throughout this situation. I highly recommend this listing 100%. It offers ample space, functional air conditioning, and most importantly, a splendid view of the ocean. Thank you so much!

The place consists in a small bungalow in a big garden with a pool. Inside are the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom while outside are covered living and dining "rooms". The inside is very well-equipped. We have never seen such a small place so crammed with all sorts of useful equipment such as a Nespresso coffee maker (capsules provided) and a lot more, so the concept of the house is really good. The outside is also very cozy, perfect for breakfast, sipping a rhum after dinner or simply relaxing with a good book. You can park the car in the garden. A huge plus is that the beach is only a few minutes walking away and you get good snorkeling right out of the beach (beware of the currents). An outside shower is available in the garden as well as drying lines. The corresondence with Elodie and Laurent was very good and helpful. Altogether a great place. Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful place, calm, serene & peaceful. The villa is rustic with beautiful corners & paintings adorning its walls. It's is close by to everything including the airport. There is a detailed guidebook curated by the hosts. And there is a little corner for books.

It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

We stayed at Stephanie's place for a week from 17th to 24th May. it's a wonderful house and in a great location. I loved the attention to detail in terms of stocking their place with everything a guest may need. Nathalie who I was co-ordinating with was always responsive and helped with suggestions on good places for sightseeing. Laetitia who is the caretaker visited everyday ensuring the house was clean and also agreed to cook local delicacies for us. In summary it was a wonderful vacation. Stephanie and the entire team are very helpful

The Place was amazing, it was clean and beautiful just like the pictures. We enjoyed our time there and liked the privacy we had there. Also our host Julie was great, she gave us recommendation for restaurants in the area,also she was very helpful and responsive for our check in and during our stay.

Sheila was an exceptional host, friendly, always responsive to calls/texts and even went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (especially with her family for airport runs and car rental!!) Our lengthy stay was a home from home! We couldn’t thank her enough 🙏🏽 The place is a nice, big spacious apartment in the heart of rural Mauritius, small local shops close by - be prepared for some bugs in the evening, but friendly (and shy!) geckos, who actually help eat the bugs! Belle Mare beach (one of the best on the island) only 10 minutes away by car. La Riviere restaurant was also recommended by Shelia and is must to eat at, no need to make a reservation, you can just turn up! On our last day we also visited an island called Ile Aux Cerf which was a short drive and then boat ride away! Shelia also provided us with basic essentials: water, juice, sugar, cutlery, cleaning products and household basics. On top of all that she also provided a very useful welcome guide. Overall 10/

Thanks to Julie for hosting us and for her advice. We had a very good week in this accommodation, with all comforts. Thank you also to the owners Dominique and Michel for hosting us. The place is perfect for a family stay. Spacious, quiet and close to nature. If we had to note a negative point, it's the fact that the house is far from the center, you must have a car to go shopping or go to the restaurant. Raphael is a amazing host, no disruption, very private and peaceful, beach was at 2 mins walk. the place was super nice, felt right at home. would recommend for couples and family travelling to Mauritius

We were guests at Christine's Airbnb for the second time. The Airbnb was cleaned daily, the beds freshly made. They put a lot of effort into making the guest have a pleasant time. The location of the Airbnb is super located to walk to restaurants or to shop for small things. We enjoyed the week very much and would book it again.

Even before arriving in Mauritius, Caroline was very available. We immediately felt his kindness, his gentleness to our children and his hospitality. A pleasure to have had the opportunity to discover his accommodation as well as his cooking skills since we were able to taste a local dish made by him. Everything is planned for a great stay. We would definitely recommend this place. A BIG thank you again!! We do not plan to return to Mauritius in the months/years that arrive however we keep the address precious, we never know!!

Beautiful House and gardens live the outside in feel of the open spaces. All the villas are gorgeous! Secure and safe. Ariane was lovely on check in. Veena was so flexible with us around our wedding and also helped us so much when we left 2 pairs of shoes at the villa. Christophe grave lots of recommendations and put us in touch with a private wedding organiser Karen who was also brilliant. House is in walking distance of town and beaches but the roads don’t have pathways all the way.
