The pictures just don’t do it justice. I’ve stayed at a lot of airbnbs but there is nothing like this place. It’s peaceful, private, relaxing, comfortable and just an ideal spot for vacation. My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary and we were hosted at such a personal and caring level. There is nothing I would even consider giving this place a 4 star it is 5 stars all around. Do yourself a favor and book a vacation here and you won’t regret it. We are already talking about when we can come back.

Mary's rustic family cabin is an outstanding value and exactly as described in the listing. It is set in a private and peaceful location overlooking the northwest side of Malpeque Bay and Lennox Island. It is equipped with a full kitchen with plenty of dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils. We really appreciated the coffee and tea on hand as well as a few other basic items. There's plenty of hot water and the heating works well. There is plenty of bedding and towels and even a bunch of dog toys! Communicating with Mary was easy (via email and text) and we even had a lovely chat with her when she was on sight preparing to close up for the season. We'd stay again without hesitation.

We loved the cabin and location, but the best part is the view and the big back deck. We had a hard time finding the cabins as they are not at the address listed. I think that address is the dirt lane that you drive down to the 4 cabins. Once we figured that out, all was good and I loved the remote location. The phone number in the email was disconnected, so we had to call AirBnB for help with our toilet, but, as I hung up with them, our message had been read by Brooke and she sent someone down to fix it. So, by giving more detailed directions and updating the phone number, this place would be perfect for 2 people.

Our stay at the lovely Woodbine Cottage was perfect! Jon has done a superb job making sure guests are comfortable and providing everything in the cottage that we might need. Drawers and cabinets are labeled so kitchen items are easy to find. The pillows and mattresses are very comfy and the front porch and deck are great spots to relax. The house is spotless ! Jon couldn’t have been more friendly or accessible. Loved our time spent at the Woodbine!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely cottage! The spacious and well-designed layout made us feel right at home, and the breathtaking views overlooking the river added to the charm of our experience. One of the highlights was definitely enjoying a cozy campfire in the evenings, surrounded by the serene natural beauty. The location was perfect for our needs, being just a short distance from the church and cemetery in Tyne Valley, which was the primary reason for our visit. Overall, this cottage exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Northern Desire Cottage

We truly enjoyed this place the view was amazing and the place was so clean. Very comfortable beds and everything smelled so fresh. Place had lots of space and seating. The weather wasn’t great but we look forward to going back and getting to enjoy the fire pit and the spacious back yard to play some outdoor games and there is so much space. Colin was fantastic and was so much help and communication was great.
