Vacation rentals in Port Augusta

What a great, character-filled stay in Melrose. We were going to camp but it was looking a bit hot for early November so we found this place. The kids couldn't believe their luck! comfy beds, very clean, the aircon in the upstairs loft sleeping area came in handy in the late afternoons. Right near a cute park where we cooked a bbq for dinner. Very basic kitchenette as advertised. Wonderful creaky old barn. We will definitely be back. thanks Alan.

Had a wonderful experience. the house was clean and had lots of amenities. The place was close to multiple different attractions of the Flinders Ranges and the host was very friendly.

This was a great place for our stay - conveniently located, secure private location and great views out over the water. Instructions for finding and accessing the property were great, the kitchen was clean and well equipped and the property made a comfortable home base for our day trips out and about. Would definitely recommend.

Great quiet place. Kayaking, fishing, walking...Hose has amazing aircon so at 38C we did not feel the heat. Anyone looking for private place to enjoy and relax away from city noise, this is the spot.

I liked the floorplan of the house, everything was laid out nicely and well prepped. The location is at one of the quietest and most peaceful neighbourhood around Port Pirie.

Our family had an amazing holiday at Shear Serenity. The cottage had everything we needed and more, the welcome basket was epic. Our kids had a wonderful time exploring the backyard and beyond and have many beautiful feathers they’ve found and brought home from the birdlife we were surrounded by. The scavenger hunt Jacqui and her family have set up is such a fun activity and not just for the kids. We were lucky enough to have two very cute cows visit us often, our kids have affectionately named them ‘Caramilk & Shadow’ and had fun spotting them and seeing what they were up to. All in all a 10/10 private and secluded family holiday spot.

Excellent little tiny house, very cosy.. the bath is amazing and so relaxing. The bedding was beautifully clean and crisp . Decor is lovely , suits the little cottage. Has everything you need for a couple, of day stay, there is an hotel down the road and a great bakery if you don’t want to eat at home. A great little bbq which was all we needed to use. Tea, coffee and a few different milks which was good as we don’t have dairy. There is a portable stove top you can use. It’s very basic but perfect.. the bed is comfortable and a great shower. Only has body wash and hand wash so make sure you take shampoo etc. We have stayed here before and will certainly stay again it’s the perfect spot to unwind… plus you get a bottle of nice organic wine..very happy
