Great location! A supermarket is less than 5 minutes away and the accommodation is also a good starting point for hiking. The communication with Anna was very good and the place as in the pictures, nice and clean. Thanks for the great stay!

After a difficult hike in the Slovak Paradise, we quickly checked in – all the instructions were clear and understandable. We arrived in the evening, the house greeted us with cleanliness and warmth. Our doggy instantly loved his pellet by the radiator and was as happy as we were. We were able to cook and store our food without a problem. The rooms, linens, duvets and towels were all clean and scented. This little house has become our true retreat for a few days. Even my father in law noted that it feels like home!

We had a great stay, very nice apartment. We will be happy to come back. 😊

Very nice accommodation and great location, we really enjoyed our stay. Jan, the host, has been incredible kind and helpful! He offered a lot of tips, shared his wide knowledge about the high Tatras, Slovak Paradise, and of course the slovak nature in general. He would always find time to answer our questions. We also had the pleasure to go on a tour with him, highly recommended! Especially if you're interested in brown bears but also the Flora and Fauna of the Tatras as a whole! As a passionate biologist, he has a lot to share! Thanks Jan!

A lovely place in a lovely neighbourhood with space for all 12 people, very good location for hikes from the train and friendly hosts. Would stay again !

The accommodation is comfortable and spacious, in a quiet location. The beds are comfortable, which is not the case in all hostels. The kitchen is also well equipped with a sufficient amount of utensils. The courtyard has a beautiful view of the Tatras. We found all the equipment we needed, a special extra is the billiard. There are several larger shops not far from the accommodation. I would gladly choose it again.

We had a great stay! Clean, relaxing, comfortable. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do in the Tatras. The attached hotel had great coffee service which was helpful. The spa and wellness was nice but required an additional fee.

This is my first airbnb booking in slovakia and I was a little hesitant at first. I didn't need to be Lucia is very responsive and very helpful. we arrived at a time we arranged.she gave us a tour and our excitement grew from room to room. the cottage is fantastic with a real old, warm and cosy feel. the fireplace. outdoor barbecue, tennis court and swimming pool were awesome. there is a small shop nearby which sells small snacks, a kids park about 30 seconds from the front door and woods immediately behind the property for nice woods nature walks. we travelled with a lot of young kids (from 1 to 8 years old) and they didn't have a minutes boredom in the whole stay. very reluctant to leave what was a cottage full of memories made. thanks Lucia, I'm sure we will be visiting again 👍

The apartment was very nice, clean, with a beautiful view of the Tatras. We felt very good, had everything we needed available.

We were there with 3 children, 4 adults and 3 dogs. Everything was as described. The host was always easily accessible for questions.

We were a group of 8 and stayed at the place for 2 nights. We loved the cabin although it was a bit small but had everything that we needed included! Loved the hot tub and outside grill. For sure we will consider coming next time.

Perfect place to rest and have a full immersion in the Nature. Easy parking, easy reaching the surrounding destinations, easy access to the house . Apartment perfectly clean and new. Silent and peacefull neighbourood. Beautiful playground for children just a few steps away. Apartment equipped with everything Is needed for little cooking . The apartment Is at the 3rd floor with no elevator but easy to reach.

Just perfect! The host was very friendly and responded immediately to all messages. Everything was as described, even nicer than the pictures. You really feel like you're at home. I will be happy to book the villa again on my next Tatras visit. Absolutely recommended!

Marek's apartment has the best location in Mengusovce, I have stayed multiple times and he is a great host with great apartments. I will be staying all times due to great hospitality.

If you are looking for peace, nature and sauna with a magnificent view of the high Tatras, this is the place to be. Super nice cottage / container with everything you could think of. Fantastic views also from the bed into the high Tatras. Just the thing to unplug. When we arrived, even the sauna stove was prepared and we just had to light the fire. Also great location for hiking in the region. Feel free to come back anytime!

I felt very comfortable. We were able to speak German. I had plenty of space to myself and a nice warm floor. Ideally accessible by car. Right at the bus stop, you go to the property. Tip for excursions: in Vysne Hágy you can park for free at the train station and take the train to the Tatraorte cheaply. There the parking spaces are quite expensive. Good place for hikers. Clean, well organized interior. Has everything for a hiking trip and more. Has a moka maker and some coffee. Has a lot of kitchen ingredients (e.g.: salt, oil, sugar). Lot of space to pack. Greath terrace for outside events. 

I recently stayed at this beautiful mountain house and it was a truly wonderful experience. The house itself is spacious, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable family stay. The setting is spectacular, offering stunning mountain views that make every moment special. It's also conveniently located near a variety of winter entertainment activities, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in picturesque surroundings!
