Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pope County

Had a great stay. place was nice and dog friendly, which is hard to find. Instructions were easy. it was welll furnished and clean. Amenities were nice. We have a family of 4 and used this as a Basecamp to do some hiking. lots to do in the area and close to several good hikes. It was also private, yet close enough to town. I would recommend this place to anyone.

4 gal friends stayed - perfect accommodations. Everything was very clean & comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed & very nice appliances. They have decorated the home with such cute items & some are quite unusual - some antiques - very nice. The master bath shower is huge & gorgeous - felt so good to be a bit pampered after hiking all day! Such a nice back yard area to sit in the evening enjoying the perfect April weather during our stay. The large yard has delightful gnomes & they devised a scavenger hunt for the gnomes. The location is perfect for visiting the state park .... very close to the park sign. The hosts communicated with us in a very timely manner. We had no complaints & highly recommend this home.

This place is super nice! Easy to get there. Beautiful property. We saw a bald Eagle flying overhead, and I listened to the frogs and the owls in the early morning sitting under the back porch. It worked perfectly for us and I will rebook in the fall here again!

Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. Very quite and peaceful. We were in town to attend an ATU football game. Great location for that. Close enough to be convenient and far enough away to be relaxing. Billie Ann was a great host. Very thoughtful and communicative. Hope to stay again sometime.

We loved everything about our stay at this home. It was clean and went above and beyond our expectations. Kelli was very accommodating and quick to reply to any questions I had. I would highly recommend staying here. I know we will.

Our stay at Southern Comfort was exactly as described and then some! It was far enough out of town for privacy, yet close enough that allowed us to take motorcycling rides throughout the Ozarks on day trips and dine at local restaurants. I’m very picky about where we stay as I’m accustomed to our “own space” in our motorhome, but we felt right at home here. We travel with house slippers when we stay elsewhere, but Southern Comfort was so clean, I walked barefooted the whole time…that says ALOT!! It was just my husband and I, and this 3 BR, 2 BA was more affordable than 1 BR AirBnBs in this area. We only utilized the master bedroom and common area. Dined out, so I can’t speak to the kitchen other than it was well equipped with every pot, pan, and utensil you could want. Really nice washer and dryer, and a BBQ grill was available just off the wooden back deck. Plenty of parking. Easy to check in and out. Trena was very responsive to any question I had. We will be back!

The Eagles Nest is a fisherman’s paradise. We were here for a fishing tournament on lake Dardenelle. The house is very close to multiple boat ramps. Easy parking for multiple boats and outlets close by to charge boats. There’s even a hose there to clean your boat if you wish. The house is set up with EVERYTHING if you wish to cook dinner at home. There’s a grill out back too which is great. Coffee maker was nice too! Ed and Bonnie are super accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed!

We did not have any problems at all, the cabin location was quiet while we were there and it had everything we needed. If we were passing thru again we would defiantly have another stay.

The cabin was super cute and very relaxing in the woods. Debbie was super sweet and very helpful with everything.

The house and land were perfect for our little family get away. The land and privacy was lovely and our dog absolutely loved exploring. The house is a ways from any shopping so no quick runs to the store for something you forgot. We spent the days exploring and returned in the evenings for dinner and family time. We were able to make many dinners in the stocked kitchen, s’mores in the fire pit, and had excellent views of the night sky. Lots of little touches to help you feel at home. I would recommend staying at Amy’s!!

Comfortable and relaxing, beautiful scenery. Owner’s hospitality was amazing always making sure we had what we needed. Great location for trail riding in all directions. We loved going to Dover Lights every night. This will be the place we stay when riding in the area.

We have already booked this cabin for July. The cabin was fully stocked and very nice and clean. We had two large trailers with sxs, and there was enough space and then some to turn around. We met Mrs. Susan and her husband, while we were there and they showed us some pretty amazing trails. We had a blast and can not wait to come back. Paco our furbaby also approved :) Thanks again for everything!!!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Meek’s Mountaintop Retreat. We were looking for a place to relax, slow down, and enjoy nature, and this was the perfect place. The house had all we needed. The views from the living room were breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked with anything a person could need to cook with. The bedroom was so cute and the bedding was comfortable. We had all we needed to stay warm when the cooler weather came while we were there. We loved the historic character and charm of the home. As I cooked breakfast, I watched the deer eat and play out the back porch. We grilled and dined on the tables outside. We lounged on the outdoor furniture and drank coffee. It was perfect. The trail system and Sunrise Point is also just steps away from the house. Views were spectacular and pictures don’t do justice. Deborah was friendly, helpful and very accommodating!

WOW!!! The Rock House was so great! You cannot beat the location. Walking distance to turtle rocks and rock cave trail! The inside and outside of this house was perfect for my youngsters! We absolutely loved it. They had everything we needed to use to cook and for coffee. Thank you!!

Rebecca's place was clean, comfortable, and absolutely perfect for our weekend off the grid. We stayed for a girls' weekend, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The plan was to hang out, play games, go on a couple of hikes, and simply enjoy time together—and this was the ideal setting for it all. The location is beautiful, private, and secluded, but still conveniently close to Petit Jean State Park. The house itself was thoughtfully equipped, with comfy beds that accommodated everyone, a nice kitchen for cooking meals, and plenty of sitting space both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor area was especially lovely for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The only minor hiccup was a bit of confusion with the directions, as the instructions mentioned "towards Opello," which led us to believe we wouldn’t actually go into Opello. However, you do. Once we figured that out, everything else went smoothly. We had a splendid weekend and are already planning to come back and rent
