Vacation rentals with breakfast in Polk County

We loved our stay in this cute little cottage! The hosts are wonderful and very accommodating. We forgot our toothpaste at home and Patty was quick to run a fresh tube over to us! Independence is an adorable little town and the cottage felt like a home away from home. We would love to stay again in the future!

This is the second time we've stayed at Susan's home. We love it there. The backyard is an oasis. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Susan makes you feel like her home is yours. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area.

Beautiful place which was exactly as described, if not even more beautiful in person. The food offerings were amazing as well. Highly recommended.

Barb was a friendly and responsive host. Her Love Shack is very cute and located on a pretty little farm. We enjoyed walking around the pond, sitting on the porch, petting the dogs. Bed was very comfortable and place felt private.

Steve and Robin. communicated well, which was helpful because I struggled a bit with my communication in an emotionally charged and busy week. The home was quiet and peaceful, and the included snacks were great. The street felt safe but wasn't far from services.

Comfortable and easy stay with beautiful natural surroundings and quaint little town nearby. Susan and Joe's place is a great option if you're in the area!

large place is pretty decent it's a little bit on the small side the bathroom is very very small however we did enjoy our stay there she's very accommodating we had two vehicles and a trailer and it was not a problem she was very kind and responsive to anything that we needed the property is beautiful as a nice little pond and a little City area lots of animals chickens and horses and cows it was an enjoyable stay overall

Mary Lou and her art-filled loft are both wonderful. She is a warm and caring host, willing to share her interests and help guests. Her husband Alan was also super nice and helpful. The loft was so beautiful, filled with gorgeous art work - ceramics, paintings, collages, wood work. It is also super comfortable and practical. The mini-kitchen was fully equipped, WiFi speed and connectivity were excellent (enough for me to work from there), and the bathroom had in-case-you-forgot extras, as well as a nice assortment of body care products. From the ADU/loft space, you look out over the trees. Between the art inside and the natural beauty outside, this place is a winner. The neighborhood is quiet, upscale, and felt very safe. This is the kind of Airbnb that I dreamed of visiting. Can't wait to go back.
