Vacation rentals with beach access in Pointe aux Canonniers

We spent a great holiday in the ground floor Black reef apartment. The apartment is huge & well equipped. Kitchen includes all stuff you need to cook, from pots & pans to microwave & cooking machine. There is a huge fridge, coffee device and all tableware you need. The bedroom is nice and big, as well as bathroom that includes shower & bath tube. Everything is clean and very well preserved, exactly like in the photos. The terrace is opening to the sea and beach, that is very clean, too. There is a heated pool in the garden that is shared with tenants of the other two floors. The beach is nice but rocky, you can go into the water in front of the villa, but is better to use one of the very nice public beaches that are in walking distance. There is a supermarket where you can find almost everything & a very nice beach club (Le Plage) in 10 minutes walking distance and few restaurants closer. Communication was easy with both owner and local responsible person. Everything was perfect & top!

Very good location in relation to the small public beach and restaurants. Very convenient parking for the accommodation. The apartment is in the 'Be Cosy' complex (not on Costal Road). Quiet environment.

We had an amazing stay at this spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained apartment. Its location is perfect, with many restaurants, a shopping center, and popular beaches just a short distance away. The apartment is well-kept, offers 24/7 security, and includes dedicated parking - everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. Christopher is a great host. He dropped by during our check-in and thoughtfully walked us through all the apartment amenities. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Mauritius!

My husband and I had a wonderful week in Stephanie's beach apartment. The view from the deck over the beach, palms and green seas is amazing. And there is full access to the beach for walking and swimming. The light throughout the apartment adds to the beauty, and many doors and windows can be opened to encourage air flow. All the rooms are spotless with everything needed for a stay. The staff have been super helpful. we were met at the beginning and end. Nardege came in daily also, and was very sweet. Rodney who lives downstairs kindly showed us round the apartment when we arrived, as well as the local bbq stall. We felt there was always someone to help if needed. Grand Gaube is a lively local village, friendly with a range of small supermarkets and street food stalls. We had lunch one day at the pretty Veranda hotel, open to non residents, and a short walk. Buses are very possible to travel, and cabs easy to order through Stephanie. We will return to her apartment in the future.

The place is great... Geraldine helpful and provided us with all the info...Thank you... Unfortunately, the neighbor does not like children (2nd floor right) approached our children every day in French ..loud...aggressive and totally unfriendly With children who like to play in the pool and are sometimes louder... that's not the right thing... because the neighbors all want their peace and have had stress every day... too bad... because we really liked it at Geraldine's

I had a great stay! The place was very nice, clean, and exactly as described. It’s in a great location - just a short walk from a beautiful beach. The apartment was well equipped with everything I needed, and the host was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed – the thoughtful little gift and delicious snacks were such a kind and personal touch. The space itself was not only clean and beautifully arranged, but also full of warmth and charm, making it so easy to feel right at home. The host went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and was always available if I had any questions. That genuine care and attention made all the difference. This house with the view and surroundings is absulutely paradise. Exactly what you would expect from an island holiday. On the beach, peaceful. Just stunning. we had a wonderful time and our daughter of 5 could go play on the beach with us worrying about her but, we could supervise her from the patio.

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

Ravin and his wife were very friendly and kind to us. We had a great week at the villa. Thank you for everything.

Exceptional location, straight out of a dream (or a postcard you don't want to leave). The garden is a little slice of heaven, maintained by a gardener of extreme kindness – we almost wanted to invite him to an aperitif! No negative points... except that you have to leave at some point (and that's cruel) Anyway, we'll be back, that's obvious!

We had an amazing stay at Jean’s villa in Mauritius! The house is stunning – modern, spacious, and incredibly welcoming, offering everything needed for a truly relaxing vacation. Jean was a fantastic host, always attentive and ready to assist with anything we needed. The place is huge and spacious. They have cleaner that clean the house every day. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive. Highly recommended

This is a fantastic place. Everything we hoped it would be. The gates to the grounds have security. It’s very private, secure and peaceful. The place is better than the photos. Management is first class, we hade Fiona looking after us, which made the stay very relaxing, knowing support if needed is on hand. Fatima came in 3 x week to make sure the place was clean and tidy, which resembled hotel service. This is a very well run place to ensure your holiday goes the way you want it. The location is brilliant with access to Grand Baie for restaurants and beautiful scenery as well as Choisy Beach which is our favourite beach. Plenty of supermarkets around to get essentials and food, as well as shopping malls. We can’t rate this place enough.

Great location. We loved the privacy of the place, with the beach in front of the garden. The area is not touristic, which we liked (we had a rental car). Geraldine is a nice host, we had good contact.

We enjoyed our stay. Some good restaurants and cafes close by. The beach was also within walking distance. Thank you Jean and Roxanne for accommodating me with our few requests! You've been great!

Stayed at Geoffray's apartment for a full month It was an amazing stay we felt very much at home as soon as we arrived It's just a 5 minute stroll to a lovely beach and easy access to local buses . there's a local min market just up the road or a short bus ride to a very large supermarket for a bigger shop should you need it Geoffray's Mum & Dad were so lovely very helpful and on hand should you need anything We would highly recommend a stay here it really was the best Thanks again for an amazing stay Pete & Greg

We stayed 3 weeks at Devi's apartment and everything was perfect from our arrival to our departure. The apartment is modern, bright, functional, secure and super clean. Devi is a wonderful person, welcoming, considerate, generous who cares about the well-being of their guests as well as being super responsive if there's an issue. We can only highly recommend Devi's apartment. We'll be happy to go back. We recommend renting a car to explore the island. Thanks again Devi for your hospitality!

it was a fantastic stay of 5 days with family... Jenny and Vincent were very responsive and helpful... the only thing I would mention, being an Indian, we were feeling need of a foster or jet spray in the WC... :-)

The apartment was really clean and very big, with 2 bedrooms, one big livingroom, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a nice terrace. Rizwaan welcomed us, and he was very helpful and friendly, he explained everything we needed to know about the surroundings. The location was AMAZING, just between Trou aux Biches (5 minutes walk) and Mont Choisy. Both beaches are very beautiful. You can park your car inside the courtyard which is helpful. The Wi-Fi is fast, the kitchen big and fully equipped, and everything was perfect! Rizwaan is a really great host!

A fantastic place for a great holiday. Immaculate, extremely well equipped, stunning decoration, extremely tasteful furniture & fittings, everything you need and more. I can personally recommend Romain’s place to anyone. This was our fourth visit to Mauritius , and was the best ever. We will definitely be back in the future. Romain went out of his way to arrange my wife’s 60th birthday celebrations. On our arrival we were surprised with Champagne , and he even arranged a birthday cake the night of the celebration. We’re a family of five and have kids between 2yrs and 7 yrs. It was the perfect place to stay at, Sarah and Rebecca were very friendly and helpful. We can 100% recommend this Airbnb if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay. It’s very modern and has all the things you need. We recommend getting a rental car during the stay here. I’d love to come back if we’re ever planning on staying in grand baie again!
