The position could not have been more perfect. Right in the middle of Salt Rock and a two step walk the garden gate onto the beach. It was heaven going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean on our doorstep. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone.

What a beautiful place, absolutely clean and had everything we needed. We felt right at home . It is right by the beach and also walking distance to the restaurants. Jess is also an amazing host.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking ocean views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The house itself is spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the open-plan living area and the outdoor patio. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing us with helpful tips and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had the most amazing stay at Donna’s house in Salt Rock! The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach and with shops conveniently close by. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, set in a lovely and peaceful area that made our stay so relaxing. The pool was divine — perfect for cooling off and enjoying the sunny days. We truly felt at home here and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended! Everyone was so helpful and friendly!

We had a wonderful stay with family, including our 2 young kids. The view is incredible! The house is beautiful, nice and clean (Jenny the domestic worker helped keep it that too throughout our stay). A short (if somewhat steep) walk down the path to a lovely beach complete with rock pools and a small river that the kids really enjoyed. There is large braai and also a webber which was really handy for feeding a big family. We arrived early and Nadine was kind enough to allow us flexibility in the check in time which is always so appreciated. I hope we will be back!

A very nice place in Umhlanga, conveniently located with very nice views. Responsive hosted who readily assisted when l was struggling to find the place. Would highly recommend for solo and family accommodation.

We had an amazing stay at this gem on the Dolphin Coast! The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and tidal pool. The sea views are breathtaking, and we loved spending time on the verandah overlooking Chakas Rock. It’s ideal for a couple or small family, with everything you need for a relaxing, self-catering holiday. The complex is safe and quiet, with restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended for a coastal getaway!

great apartment, excellent location and value for money

We had a wonderful experience staying here. Our host went above and beyond, providing invaluable advice on places to visit in the area, and every recommendation was spot on! The house was also exceptionally clean and had a lovely, warm atmosphere. We truly appreciated her hospitality and would definitely stay again.

My sister and myself had a wonderful time, the view was spectacular every day, you could hear the ocean the whole time. Apartment was beautiful and our hosts friendly, available when needed and helpfull.

We have just completed a 3 week stay with 4 adults sharing Loren's place. In our opinion it is the perfect place to stay if visiting Ballito. The apartment itself is large, very clean and extremely well equipped. The complex is very well maintained, in particular the pool and garden areas. It is also situated in an ideal spot with direct access to the boardwalk and beach, and is a within a short walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking is secure and undercover. We can't add much more to all the other positive reviews which are spot on. For any golfers, we would highly recommend Umhlali Country Club golf course which is a 10 minute drive away.  Thanks especially to our hosts Loren, Deon and Viv who are on hand and very quick to respond should you need anything.

Had a great stay at Nikky and Tom’s place. As Gauteng- based guests, hearing the ocean was a highlight. Nikky communicated very well. The place is well equipped with kitchen goods.
