Alessandro was such an amazing host. We felt right at home. We had freshly baked croissants made by Alessandro 😊 The location was beautiful. Alessandro made great local recommendations for restaurants as well. Also, his property is beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!

Holiday Villa in Sabina with Private Pool

PeterRating, 5 stars10 months ago
It's a really great real Italian house. Very cozy, we felt at home right away. Very complete. Two nice large bedrooms with ceiling fan, one bedroom in the attic that was a little smaller, mattress on the floor and air conditioner (which didn't work so well). It was a very hot week (up to 40 degrees). We kept everything close during the day, but it stayed very hot in the bedrooms. A few more air conditioners would be very nice. But...it worked, we slept well on the good mattresses. Around the house lovely places. Even more beautiful than in the pictures. We moved with the sun from spot to spot. The pool is fantastic (and really needed with that heat). The house is quite secluded on a very small road. We are quite a bit lost. That was also because there is not always internet connection on the way. Finally, a lot of praise for the fantastic Adriano who was always available and always checked to make sure everything was good. Thank you Elvira and Adriano!!

Hill in bloom

The house with its large garden and private pool is a true slice of paradise. It’s the perfect place to relax and the surrounding villages, some of which are medieval hilltop towns, add a wonderful charm. The area above Poggio Catino also offers fantastic, well-maintained hiking spots, with lovely places to enjoy. My dog thoroughly inspected the fenced yard and couldn’t find any way to escape – excellent! The contact with Luisa and Gianfranco was very pleasant and they were extremely helpful. My favorite restaurant was Ristorante La Casina Nel Parco in Cantalupo In Sabina. I would gladly return, and I highly recommend this accommodation!

A weathered entrance is framed by an arched stone doorway, with a subtle horse motif above. A potted plant adds a touch of greenery beside the door, which stands on a cobbled path surrounded by aged walls, offering a glimpse of the historical charm of the area.

Peaceful, secluded location. Lovely, simple, but well-equipped historic house. Super fast WiFi. Charming, thoughtful hosts who provided so much information, and eased our landing in Umbria with delicious supplies, and a superb dinner reservation in nearby Casparia. Grazie mille, Giovanna and Massimo!

Simone was very nice and helped with everything we needed. The apartment was pretty, nice location great view. We even had orange and clementine from the tree!
A view through a window showcases expansive hills dotted with olive trees, under a bright blue sky. The landscape features a mix of autumnal colors across the trees, with distant rolling hills visible in the background.

Ancient farmhouse above the Farfa Valley

SophiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Silvia's country house immediately appealed to us because of its very stylish decor, the mix of old and new, its naturalness, the beautiful view and the tranquility and privacy. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, you could sleep at night with the window open thanks to the mosquito screens. The large living and dining room was also very pleasant. We felt right at home. We have always been able to reach Silvia herself very well and received help and tips about the surroundings. The surroundings are very beautiful, the place poggio nativo itself is very quiet and does not impress with a lively atmosphere, but offers a supermarket that is easy to reach by car. However, there are many other places in the vicinity (~15 min) that offer restaurants & cafes. Small potential for improvement to the house would be: Not a sufficiently shady place outside at lunchtime (terrace greenery from above too holey, maybe an awning
