Vacation rentals in Podgora

My wife and I spent a fantastic week here with friends and family! The villa is light, modern, and spacious. The surrounding hills / mountains are beautiful. The view of the Adriatic, while partially obscured by construction, is stunning. The location is great: close to Cavtat and Dubrovnik. Stocking up at Studenac or Konzum a few miles away was convenient! Note that getting here can be tricky - GPS can be a bit off and coming from Cavtat / the airport takes a near 180° turn. Some Ubers struggled finding us. Lukša was an excellent host. He’s communicative and quick to assist with any request / issue. His recommendation of a private dinner by Chef Dario was a highlight - Dario and his team were accommodating and the meal exceptional! The maids were warm, attentive, and having daily breakfast is incredible. Small tip - if you plan to request laundry service, bring a laundry bag or perhaps Lukša could provide one in the future! Highly recommend a stay here if you’re visiting Dubrovnik!

BOOK THIS PLACE!! I cannot say enough about Ivan and his lovely home. He met us in the parking space and carried our luggage down the 200 steps to oceanfront paradise! When the brief tour of the house took us outside to the pool, hottub and oceanfront I almost cried. This was exactly what we needed on our vacation and it was better than expected. The house was stocked in every way imaginable, lacked nothing at all. Ivan made sure to leave us a welcome gift of food, wine and all kinds of yummy things. The house was SPOTLESS. Coming in May was so wonderful because we used the pool, ocean and hot tub in constant rotation. We ate our meals outside (there were two places with full 8-person dining tables) and enjoyed every moment here. My daughter's 20th birthday was during our stay and Ivan surprised us with a delicious treat from a local bakery! He also sent occasional local recommendations throughout our stay via message. It was very helpful! We LOVED this stay!!

Lovely home right on the water. Perfect for relaxing. Very detailed instructions on how to operate anything in the home. Also has a very good guide to the local area.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Osojnik. The area is so peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to unwind and recharge. We especially loved spending our days sunbathing by the pool and just enjoying the calm surroundings. The house itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed! It was exactly the kind of restful escape we were hoping for, and we already can’t wait to come back. Thank you for such a perfect stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again. The location was beautiful and the amenities were perfect. The kitchen area was amazing and well equipped. We enjoyed the outdoor barbecue, and took some time to explore the vast property. Antonija is very friendly and an amazing host. It was an incredibly relaxing way to wrap up our visit to Croatia!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und um das Haus sind richtig viele Tiere, mit denen man dann auch automatisch Zeit verbringt. Über den leckeren Wein und andere Leckereien haben wir uns sehr gefreut :) jederzeit wieder!

We had a fabulous stay in Jelena's apartment. It was just as advertised. Perfect for 2 of us. Very comfortable and clean. Close to all amenities. Yes there are a lot of steps but you can also walk down the more gentle sloped roadway. 5-7 mins walk. Excellent bus service. The number 6 is very frequent, about every 15mins to the old town, about 4 stops away. It's worth taking some great trips to the 3 islands, Lokrum and also the Mostar trip. Jelena's apartment is the perfect place to relax or take some amazing trips from. We would come back again and highly recommend.

Vårt andra besök hos Nikola och Petra i Okuklje, vi älskade både boendet och platsen så mycket förra året att vi ville återvända och denna gång stanna längre. Lägenheten ligger ovanpå värdparets i ett stenhus i slutet av byn, omgiven av gröna berg och kristallklart hav. Syrsor, fjärilar, ödlorn och en dvärguv som hoar på natten. Lägenheten är ganska liten men välutrustad och fräsch. Finns allt man behöver. Underbar balkong med parasoll med utsikt över viken. Fantastiska värdar som fick oss att känna oss som hemma. Passar dem som önskar en fridfull plats omgiven av vacker natur. Finns få restauranger i byn av varierande pris och kvalite. Närmsta mindre matbutik ca 17 min bort med bil. Enda nackdelen, om någon, var att vi ibland stördes sent på kvällen av festande gäster som ankommer med båt över natten till bryggan utanför. Men med stängt fönster gick det att sova ändå. Rekommenderar annars verkligen detta boende! Inte omöjligt att vi återvänder en tredje gång.
