Andrija Mateljan together with his wife Vera built ther house by the sea in the early seventies. Along with fishing and eko farming we provide our guests with authentic Dalmation specialties. We offer our guests room and half board (breakfast and dinner).

Very peaceful and safe area From this apartment you have open sea view to the sea and Dubrovnik old town We are located near Dubrovnik... and far enough away from the crowds to make your vacation ideal..... As a party of six we really enjoyed Sandra’s house. It had ample room for us all to relax, spacious bathrooms, good bench space in kitchen and lots of appliances and utensils for when we cooked at home. It was an easy walk down to the cafes, bakery and supermarket and an equally easy 30 minute walk to the beach over the hill. The Popic winery on the way back from the beach is a must do as well. It was peaceful and private and we can highly recommend to other guests.

We are just thrilled with this place! The apartment is a 3-minute walk from a wonderful beach. There is a nearby shop, and buses run frequently. It’s a great place for a vacation. The apartment is clean and has everything you need; we were pleasantly surprised to find an iron and a hairdryer. Overall, we give it the highest recommendation.

Our stay was amazing overall, despite needing to upgrade our apartment due to its small size and lack of sunlight. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The larger apartment at the new villa was fantastic—clean, tidy, and equipped with all the essentials. The yard was perfect for kids and offered a relaxing space. The surroundings and the beachside were stunning and serene. With markets just a 2-minute walk away and restaurants and bars nearby, we would definitely return to this place.

Die Unterkunft war noch schöner als auf den Bildern! Es gibt ca. 8 min Fußweg entfernt einen kleinen Strand, weitere tolle Strände sind leicht zu Fuß und mit dem Auto erreichbar. Nikola und seine Familie waren sehr freundlich, und man bekommt alles was man benötigt. Man liegt sehr zentral, und kommt mit dem Auto schnell an tolle Orte wie z.B. Stari Grad oder Hvar. Wir empfehlen Nikola und sein Apartment zu 100% weiter ❤️

Excellent little apartment with everything you might need for your stay. Good advice about the local area and easy instructions regarding the accommodation. Beautiful sea views from the balcony and nice communal pool. The area itself is great with shops,excellent restaurants and amenities all within walking distance or short taxi drive away,and Dubrovnik easily reachable by car or boat. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay!

The house is amazing and we had a wonderful stay with an extended family of 13 people - 9 adults and four children from 3-16 in age. The outdoor area is perfect for a big family. The view from the house over the bay of Makarska is exceptional. The apartments are spacious and well-equipped. I would fully recommend a stay in this wonderful house.
