Beautiful peaceful place. Love the balcony and extra touches such as snacks and toiletries. Lots of space and located in quiet neighborhood. The place was well thought out and uncluttered. Any improvements are more a fact of island life like shower temps and road construction. I would stay here again.

Comfortable apartment in a quiet part of town. Just a short drive from downtown and we felt safe at the location. One thing to note. If travelling early in the week, many restaurants and attractions are closed in Ponce on Monday and Tuesday. So not a lot to do on those days. We did find the excellent Coffee House for breakfast on Kimberlies recommendation. El Negochio de Panchi was a great choice for dinner

La Fortuna Cozy studio apartment

This apartment is an idyllic getaway at the site of former sugar cane plantation workers' quarters in the countryside, but still accessible to the city of Ponce. It had all the amenities, and I really appreciated the garden with fruit trees. Loved seeing iguanas and horses passing through! The host was friendly and gave me local recommendations for attractions to visit. It was wonderful to wake up each morning to a chorus of birdsong.

I loved staying here. Paola and her husband were so nice and welcoming. On check in I got the wrong code for the lockbox however Paola was very responsive when I called her. I was weary of the neighborhood as it looks a bit sketchy and there were a lot of stray dogs. However Paola explained the neighborhood population, she also lives nearby!. She gave great recommendations to 2 restaurants nearby that I loved. I will definitely be staying again.
