Beach house vacation rentals in Playa Hermosa

Wow, what a perfect place for a relaxing week at a beautiful beach! Easy access directly to the beach, lovely little pool for a dip without the saltwater and plenty of spots within walking distance (few restaurants on the beach, convenience store on the corner plus downtown is only a one mile away with tons of food, shopping, bars, pharmacy, etc). Great amenities such as beach chairs, beach towels and pool towels.

This location was the perfect spot for our family! It was right on “the strip” of Jaco so was in a walkable distance to the restaurants but felt peaceful in its location on the beach. We loved going back and forth between the beach and the pool. The building has a guard so felt very safe for us traveling with our children.

We loved staying in this place! It was perfect for the whole family. We spent our days between the beach and the pool and it was perfect. Nothing better than having the beach right in front of the house. Also they had cleaning services every day included in the price which was amazing, we didn’t have to be cleaning the sand of the floors and we had new towels every day. We completely loved our stay totally recommend!

Our group of 8 had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lara's home in Costa Rica. The house was exactly as described - immaculately clean and extremely comfortable for our entire party. Every amenity promised in the listing was available and in perfect working order. Lara was an exceptional host from start to finish. Her communication was prompt, friendly, and thorough - she patiently answered all of our questions and made us feel completely at ease. The true highlight was the beautiful backyard where we spent countless hours relaxing and enjoying nature. The sight of colorful macaws flying freely among the trees created a magical atmosphere that none of us will soon forget. These stunning birds would visit throughout the day, adding an authentic Costa Rican wildlife experience right on the property. The entire stay was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating - exactly what we were hoping for. Without question, we plan to return next year.

The sunsets alone were worth every penny!! We raced back to the house every night just to watch the colors change. The house itself is quaint, clean, organized and quite perfect! It’s small but they have what is needed to hang your clothes as there is not a lot of room to leave open luggage. Our family ran and played on the quiet beach. I think we saw 5 people total.. great hard packed sand for morning and evening walks. There was a spot that was very dirty (glass, plastic, etc) from high tide that you would want to wear shoes to walk through. Giovanni was thorough in communications and quick to respond! His directions were very much appreciated. We knew there weren’t a ton of amenities nearby. But it’s no joke, when you leave the house pack what you need as it’s not near activities and has very limited eating. Not an issue for most - just a heads up!

A very well-located house, with security, access to the club, and services that make the stay very pleasant. Donna is an excellent host, always attentive to ensuring her guests have a very enjoyable experience.

Megan was a fantastic host and made our stay absolutely fantastic from start to finish! She went above and beyond to book excursions, offering dinner recommendations (and even making reservations). Megan’s hospitality was truly full service and we could not be more grateful! Cannot recommend this property (or one of her other properties) enough! 10/10! Thank you, Megan!

An amazing stay: the house was one block from the quiet south end of Jaco beach, and close to a surf school we wanted to try. Quiet and peaceful by the pool, and clean and well appointed inside. Great AC which was appreciated! Danielle was very responsive to our (many) questions beforehand, provided a great guide book, and helped us organize rides from SJO airport. She noticed when we rang the Ring doorbell after managing to lock ourselves out (by bringing the wrong key), and let us in before we even had time to contact her :) Absolutely no issues at all -- great place, great host, would definitely stay again.

The house is perfect for two in a gated community within walking distance of beaches and restaurants. The staff are helpful and kind. The house is small, and a great spot to come back to after enjoying all the activity of Jaco. My 75 year old (non-swimmer) mother enjoyed the backyard pool and we both appreciated access to the bikes and plethora of beach amenities. The property is still under construction, expect sounds of the city, but it also means we had full use of the property perks (pickleball court, community pool and party space) to ourselves. In addition, Liana was always responsive and helpful. Recommend!

Una hermosa casa super cerca de todo para estar cómodos, y el lugar céntrico para moverse a otras playas, además de tener una piscina privada y los vecinos respetan las reglas por lo cual se puede desca san muy bien.

Beautiful Home !!! Gated Community With Security On Site 24/7. You Can Walk To Anywhere In Jaco Within A Few Moments. I Will Not Stay Anywhere Else Except Here Once I Return.

This was a great find! The pool is beautiful and surrounded by greenery and birds. The place had a very modern, clean feel. It was a great location- quick trip to Jaco and Manuel Antonio National Park was only about an hour and a half away. Jeffery was a great, responsive host that communicated promptly. Highly recommend.

Muy contentos con el lugar, todo estaba impecable y la atención maravillosa. Lo único es que la piscina parecía que no le daban mucho mantenimiento. La anfitriona muy atenta.

We had a lovely 3 nights here. The caretaker Yeni was very helpful (I don't think much English but we didn't have trouble communicating). Jessica was wonderful from afar and very responsive. The house was very comfortable. It does get warm at the beach this time of year, so very thankful for the ac in the bedrooms and lots of fans - and a wonderful swimming pool. Had all the amenities listed. Were able to grill one night. Lots of great restaurants nearby. A good set of instructions with things to do and places to get food, sights to see. Gray sand beach but not rocky like some in Costa Rica are. House was spacious - we were only two couples but easily could be a friends group or larger family. Could easily have stayed longer - maybe next time!

La casa es muy cómoda, los cuartos de y baños de buen tamaño y las camas cómodas. Muy limpio, todas las amenidades funcionaban y la piscina en buen estado. Excelente ubicación y el host excelente comunicación!

Nossa estadia foi simplesmente perfeita! A casa é impecável, localizada em um condomínio super charmoso e seguro. Tivemos uma experiência inesquecível, celebrando nosso casamento junto de alguns amigos. Tudo ficou ainda mais especial graças à anfitriã, Laura, que foi extremamente solícita e sempre respondeu rapidamente a todas as nossas mensagens. Laura também ajudou nossos amigos a organizar uma surpresa maravilhosa (festa) para comemorarmos ainda mais esse momento. Minha amiga, que teve contato direto com a Laura, ficou encantada com toda a atenção, gentileza e apoio que recebeu durante todo o processo. Somos muito gratos por termos vivido esse momento tão único em uma casa tão acolhedora, charmosa e em uma praia belíssima. Para tornar tudo ainda mais especial, recebemos de presente uma espumante e uma linda guirlanda de flores da anfitriã. Tudo foi preparado com muito carinho e cuidado. Recomendo demais a estadia, tanto pela casa quanto pelo acolhimento excepcional da Laura.

We stayed for one month at Roberto‘s place. Having the pool in the backyard was a lifesaver. The house and the location was great. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store. It was nice having a private bathroom in each bedroom. The outdoor sitting area is covered, which made it far more comfortable in the heat. Roberto was absolutely fantastic in response to any issues we had regardless of how big or how small. He replied immediately and took care of every issue we had within hours. The only thing I can think of that was not the greatest was the kitchen supplies, if you like to cook the pots and pans and other kitchen utensils were not the greatest. That being said, we made do with what we had, and in our overall experience at this house was fantastics. Thank you Roberto for doing such a great job hosting our stay.

The location of this place is perfect! It’s about a mile from main drag of Jaco so you feel away from the hustle and crowds, but close enough to drive or uber to a lot of shops, restaurants and the beach. Parking was easy and the gate made us feel safe. Pool and ping pong etc were awesome too! The place itself was a gem. The enclosed backyard is great for kids and to have a drink, and being able to use the washer / dryer / dishwasher helped so much with kids. AC worked well, the house was very spacious and comfortable. The only issue is internet could be sporadic but that is a Jaco issue, not related to this house. All in all, amazing spot and we highly recommend!
