Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Platte County

Julia was a lovely host, and the property was wonderful. It’s such a great location, with just a short drive away from Kansas City and St. Joseph. Would absolutely recommend for an event, family reunion, or another occasion where you need plenty of space for guests. Thank you so much!!

Emily was very responsive and accommodating! Her home was beautiful and very clean, which made us feel right at home. It is located in a very quiet area, but just a short drive from downtown restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

We had fun on a quick family getaway. Our kids (4 years and 22 mos) loved the playhouse and provided toys. The house had plenty of space for them to spread out and play. We enjoyed how kid-friendly it was. They had everything we needed from plastic tableware to books, toys, pack n play, diaper pail, and a high chair. We also enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings, comfortable beds and individual bedrooms for each of us. This house would be great for a small group as well. It’s warm and comfortable.

The house was as all of the pictures showed in the listing. Check in instructions were sent over prior to check in and were very easy to follow. I did not need anything during the stay but the host were very proactive so if anything did occur I would think they would be quick to reply! House was VERY clean and everything looked new! There was lots of room for the 4 of us staying. House is stocked with everything and was all labeled to make it easy to find! If we are ever in town again we will be coming back!

We came for a doctor’s appt and enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable! The backyard was perfect for relaxing and my son enjoyed being able to walk around instead of being stuck in a motel room. Savannah was very responsive and we didn’t have any issues during our stay. I’d stay again!

It was decorated tastefully, enjoyed how it was done. Colors, coordinating accessories etc. You can tell a lot of work was put into making it useable. I personally loved the electric fireplace in the master bedroom. Sheena or other always responded to quests, questions, etc. in a timely manner. I didn't hesitate to communicate with her/other. Area was safe, comfortable to walk outside in morning or evening. Noise level was minimal which was nice. Access to apartment was easy, after I read directions! lol She even provided good weather for us. What more can you ask from a host!

I loved staying here. The property is beautifully restored and maintained. I appreciated the excellent shower pressure and comfy mattress topper and pillows. Steve even offered an umbrella when it rained.

We’ve stayed here previously and will always come back! It is always such a great place to stay, it’s super clean and has everything you could need during the stay. Chris is super helpful with instructions on how to access the unit before check in. Highly recommend!

Great Stay, Great Location… No complaints at all. If I had any complaints, it would be that the bed is overly soft; but that’s someone’s preference. I would definitely book with Savannah again when I’m in KC, if available.

This place was exactly as described and a great stay for me. There is a coffee shop just a short walk away and it's in a very nice neighborhood. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Stayed for a weekend with a few friends to explore the area. Central, walkable location and beautiful historic space. Vince was proactive and thorough in communicating. Definitely will be back ☺️

This is a really nice place, above a commercial space in a quiet, mostly residential, neighborhood. Nicely designed, modern/up to date; and the furnishings, linens, etc also were very nice. Wish our schedule had allowed us to stay for more than one night.

Melanie is a great host. Easy to communicate and always ready to help. She is awesome! The place is great for short and long term stays. It comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is good, easy access to main roads. Stores, markets and restaurants are near by. Neighborhood is safe, no concerns or issues. Assigned parking spot, washer/dryer, 2 floor unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and a patio to chill makes this place great. I enjoyed staying here and recommend to anyone looking for a place in KC.

The condo was lovely! We were thankful for all the cozy blankets as the weather was chillier than we anticipated. The beds were comfy and the futons/pullout couch were sufficient. DoorDash & UberEats found the condo with no trouble at all. I recommend bringing an eye mask to sleep with if you are in the king room - the outside lights are really bright. Shing-Haw was always quick to respond. This condo was a great experience for our budget!

We had a wonderful time at this spot. The unit was very nicely designed and cozy. We were able to enjoy the outdoor spaces as well. You could tell care was put into safety and sound-proofing - even though we were close to a bustling area the unit still felt calm and quiet when inside. Overall a great location as well - could walk to multiple neighborhoods (with restaurants, bars, shopping) and fun KC attractions.

This is great place to stay for KU parents!! Campus is super close and everything is within a 5 minute drive or a short walk. Would definitely stay again!

There was a park next door with a walking trail. It was close enough to downtown that we could have walked if we had wanted to. Lawrence is a quaint town with shopping and good food. The host responded immediately to all our questions. Great place to stay.

Really great location in Downtown Lawrence. Nice views from a very unique loft. A perfect place to stay if you're solo and want more space/a long term stay.

Stayed here with family for a couple nights. Good location as close to airport and near to old San Juan. Safe neighborhood. Everything clean and as listed. Nice view of the city from 7th floor as well.

Great location. I was able to park on the street on the opposite side from the entrance my entire stay. We didn’t use the private parking as it was far walk and inconvenient. Once we found the apartment we noticed the decor was shabby chic and the bed was comfortable.
