Vacation rentals with a patio in Plakias beach

I had a lovely time here, tastefully renovated, useable spaces and close to the action by serenely quiet. Would come back in a heartbeat

We recently stayed at this Airbnb for an autumn vacation and, overall, it was a pleasant experience. The house is clean, well-maintained, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. The amenities provided were more than adequate, and everything functioned as expected. One thing to note is that the hosts live on-site, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but their presence was definitely felt compared to other Airbnbs we stayed in so far. Nevertheless, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a well-kept, dog friendly space with hosts who are nearby to assist.

Our stay at Nikos' place was just amazing. The apartment was not only easy to find, but also extremely spacious and comfortable for two people. We liked the decor very much. The location is great, whether on foot or by car, you are quickly close to restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket that offers everything you need. We especially appreciated the garden, but it was temporarily affected by a construction site, which will be over soon. We will be happy to come back!

All around, everything worked very well. The technology and the condition in the apartment were also impeccable. Britta welcomed us personally with her husband and showed us everything in the apartment. She had sent us some links to restaurants and breakfast cafes in advance. These were very helpful. The area also seemed safe to me and on Wednesdays there is a weekly market at the doorstep. The way into the city was very easy and good to master. Also excursion destinations such as Balos Beach, Kourtaliotis Gorge, Kournas Lake and Elafonissi Beach were easily accessible by car. If we vacation in Chania again, we'd love to stay with Britta again.

We had a great stay at the apartment :) Iwona was very nice and helpful. The village is also very sweet with good taverns to eat!

I stayed at Mr. Stylianos’s place for 5 nights. I really enjoyed staying there. He was very friendly and very flexible with the check in time. We arrived late because of the delay of our plane. We received some greeting presents. The apartment was clean and true to the description. The apartment is in a very convenient location. Chania’s city center is very close, there are many cafes, restaurants and stores around. I am very happy that we choose Mr. Stylianos’s apartment to stay in Chania would do it next time at as well.

Aris was really the perfect host! The communication was top tier from beginning to end! The place was clean and beds were comfy. The views were beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

I come to Chania twice a year and this was certainly one of the very best Airbnbs I have rented. First of all, you can’t beat the location. Our hosts were so gracious and had the place beautifully decorated for Christmas. The house is quite spacious and well appointed and the kitchen is fully stocked. I highly recommend this property!

This was one of the best houses I stayed in - really modern and great internal design. The two bathrooms are a rarity in Greece and we were really happy that we had them. We enjoyed the very comfortable beds and the pillows. A fully equipped kitchen was also a nice element to the perfect stay. Need to know that the village is on a hill and there is a narrow cobbled street (no direct access by car), but there is a small parking about 150m away from the house.

Well-renovated apartment, very spacious and with every comfort available to guests. A beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where you can admire the sunset and a well-kept garden make it truly special. Vaia, Nikolas and the whole family immediately proved to be helpful and hospitable, we remember them with affection and sympathy.

A super nice, clean & cozy villa in which all the facilities are present! Truly a pearl! We were very hospitable received by Nikos. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the veranda in the morning sun and the beautifully lit jacuzzi in the evening! Especially in the cooler months in Crete, this house is really recommended because it is really easy to heat inside due to the powerful air-conditioners. And the hot water of the jacuzzi (39 degrees) is fantastic in the winter! The house is very quiet and centrally located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Pitsidia and only a 5-minute drive from Komos Beach and Matala! A TOP place...we will definitely come back here! Thank you Nikos!

We had a wonderful stay at the earthouse! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The location was great, and we truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and always available to answer any questions, which made our experience even better. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

We can go to Maria's place with confidence. We are welcomed as friends with treats, raki, fresh fruit and even eggs. Maria is always ready to answer any questions we may have.

Konstantinos is a very responsive, friendly and diligent host. He provides detailed instructions on everything so that there are no hidden surprises. He is happy to provide local advice and did so for us, which proved invaluable. He and his wife Stelina, who welcomed us and let us into their property, are lovely people. They live below the flat and could not have been more friendly and approachable. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to you.

Beautiful apartment with wonderful hosts. Anastasia and John were very welcoming and provided a lovely welcome basket alongside their book of extensive local recommendations. They were helpful with any questions we had and checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay. The location is wonderful--close to the sea, just a 15-20 minute walk to the harbor, but a quiet oasis away from the town's activity when you want a break. The patio and comfy bed were such a treat, as was the kitchen for preparing some of our meals. We stayed here over 2 weeks and loved it. If you are in town on a Saturday, go to the farmers market and stay for lunch in one of the cafes! Thank you, Anastasia and John! We didn't want to leave.

This place cannot be faulted, excellent host, we wanted for nothing. Great location for centre of town, easy walking distance to amenities, would come back here again without hesitation

I stayed with 2 teenagers in the apartment and we found it the perfect place to visit Chania old town but still stay in a quiet neighbourhood where there was always car park available along the road. The apartment is very spacious and the view from the terrace over the mountains beautiful. Andonis is a very friendly host and shared a lot of useful recommendations for things to do and local restaurants. We tried many of the recommended restaurants and were never disappointed! Maria, who lives on the ground-floor, is such a lovely woman and made us Easter biscuits. If you like walking to the old town and have a rental car to explore other places around Chania, this is absolutely the best place to stay!

The apartment is as described , very clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, easy access from the bus station, public bus no. 11, ticket zone A, while the walk towards the center is a pleasure because you walk practically all the time by the water. Very good contact with the owner of the apartment. To top it off, we were with a few months old baby, it was the need for a crib to sleep and here the biggest surprise, and it's a gigantic plus for the owner...because he just bought a crib for us, which is no extra bed or a tourist crib, and the truest wooden crib that met our expectations. Thank you😀 I recommend with all my heart and we will definitely come back 😀

Wonderful flat in Rethymno! Beautiful inside and out. So peaceful. Very comfortable. The ocean view from the surround balcony was wonderful. Plenty of space. 7+ minutes to cafes, super markets, pharmacies. Wonderful hosts. Check in and out could not be more simple. Maria was easy to contact and super helpful and kind.
