Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Plakias beach

This is such a cozy and comfy place. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean - you almost don't want to disturb the perfection! The beds, the massive couch in the living room are all very comfortable so we woke up every morning well rested. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom (the latter was stocked with soaps, shampoos and creams). There is a small outdoor space , which we made use of for afternoon drinks and breakfast. Thr place is not right next to the old city, but the parking prices are very reasonable so we just drove in and parked at a big municipal parking. The place is also great as your base for day trips around the island. Our hosts were amazing, upon arrival we found fruit, wine, bread and Michalis popped in with a plate of freshly picked strawberries. Evelina gave us lots of tips on what to do and see - all great ideas. We had a great time and highly recommend the Violin House.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was super clean and everything well maintained. Just felt right at home with an amazing view, great beds and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

A really great apartment, super close to the beach (aprox 50m), close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars. Everything you need is a few min away. The apartment was delivered super clean, in the fridge I had a cold bottle of water and a bottle of apple juice, fruits on the table and butter&honey. Christos was very proactive, I locked myself out of the apartment (closed the door with the key inside 🤦🏻), I wrote him on airbnb and he was there in 10 min to help me out. Overall, a great place to stay in Rethymno and a super host !!!

Heike's place was super well maintained and had everything your heart desires. We felt comfortable and enjoyed our time very much! Heike was also on site on the day of our arrival and personally gave us many helpful tips and explained everything necessary. She was also quickly available to us at any time. Utensils for grilling meat and fish were also fully available. The surrounding small towns with numerous localities are quickly and easily reached by car. If you are athletic, you can also do it on foot :) . But even at home you can unwind, either in a hammock or a lounger.

We had a great stay in this special and enchanting house. It is a restored olive mill that ?is made for hosting with all the essentials. It is located in the center of the village and very easily accessible. I wish we had more days. Sure will be back again! Thank you so much for hosting!!!

We already miss Effie. She was the best host we could ever ask for! She greeted us. It was so warm and welcoming, and provided us with all the details we needed from recommendations to how to operate the ins and outs of the home. Truly, the most wonderful Airbnb experience I’ve ever had and I’ve got to stay in some really neat places! We had a wonderful stay at the earthouse! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The location was great, and we truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and always available to answer any questions, which made our experience even better. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

Very nice house, tastefully furnished and decorated, with all the amenities, large kitchen, barbecue, etc. Outside we enjoyed the large, very shaded terrace. The courtyard offers great privacy. The nearby village is very pleasant on foot, and offers many restaurants and cafes. Everything was perfect, I recommend it. A big thank you to the owners for their responsiveness and attention.

This place is really great. However, we had to leave because an annex is under construction and there was work from 7:30 am to 8pm. We were not informed of the situation before our arrival. It was difficult to enjoy the pool and balcony and the work woke us up in the morning despite it being Saturday! On the other hand, once the work is finished, the place is really perfect, spacious and close to everything!

Our stay at Nikos' place was just amazing. The apartment was not only easy to find, but also extremely spacious and comfortable for two people. We liked the decor very much. The location is great, whether on foot or by car, you are quickly close to restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket that offers everything you need. We especially appreciated the garden, but it was temporarily affected by a construction site, which will be over soon. We will be happy to come back!

All around, everything worked very well. The technology and the condition in the apartment were also impeccable. Britta welcomed us personally with her husband and showed us everything in the apartment. She had sent us some links to restaurants and breakfast cafes in advance. These were very helpful. The area also seemed safe to me and on Wednesdays there is a weekly market at the doorstep. The way into the city was very easy and good to master. Also excursion destinations such as Balos Beach, Kourtaliotis Gorge, Kournas Lake and Elafonissi Beach were easily accessible by car. If we vacation in Chania again, we'd love to stay with Britta again.

Amazing stay in this beautiful apartment. The huge balcony has the most amazing view over the beautiful bay! You can watch the sunrise while eating a home cooked meal from up there😊! The bed is comfortable and big, the bathroom was nice and water pressure was great in the shower. A really lovely place. It’s a great base for exploring since parking is free on the street. It took us 20-25 minutes to walk to the city from the apartment. I would definitely stay here again in the future 👌🏼

I can see why Katerina is a super host -everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! We felt very comfortable in her place! We found it very convenient and yet peaceful! The view from her balcony was amazing! Katerina was very responsive and pro active ! I would stay here again if I were to visit Chania in the future!

The apartment is very cozy and clean. The balcony has a fantastic view of the sea and the old town with the fortress. There is shopping within walking distance and the beach section below the apartment is very quiet. I definitely recommend this apartment and would come back again. Checking in with the key box was very easy. I stayed alone in the apartment for 14 days and felt very comfortable. Thank you for this relaxing holiday.

Beautiful apartment with wonderful hosts. Anastasia and John were very welcoming and provided a lovely welcome basket alongside their book of extensive local recommendations. They were helpful with any questions we had and checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay. The location is wonderful--close to the sea, just a 15-20 minute walk to the harbor, but a quiet oasis away from the town's activity when you want a break. The patio and comfy bed were such a treat, as was the kitchen for preparing some of our meals. We stayed here over 2 weeks and loved it. If you are in town on a Saturday, go to the farmers market and stay for lunch in one of the cafes! Thank you, Anastasia and John! We didn't want to leave.

What a great spacious apartment and even better location,.. and with a panoramic sea view from the spacious balcony/terrace. What more do you need? And chose Kalamaki over Matala (just visit) if you want to relax.

The place was not so easy to find. The host contacted us and picked us up so we could drive behind and find the place together. The place is generally very clean and has everything you need, there were even a few treats and fresh fruit ready for us. When we needed something, it didn't take us 4 minutes to get in touch and he was at our door with the stuff. So very helpful and you felt totally at home! Absolute highlight and the decisive reason to book the accommodation was of course also the Jaccuzi. The service is easy and you have a wonderful view of the sea during the day. The checkout was also super flexible. Everything wonderful! :-)

We had a perfect stay here. We loved the location- a 10 min walk to old town but also with many local restaurants right outside. The apartment itself was incredible with everything you need and Christini was very friendly and gave us recommendations:)
