Amazing location. Very private & peaceful. Great hosts who communicated quickly & were very helpful. Lovely place within easy driving distance to some great wineries, lots of food options around the area or just wonderful to relax on the deck enjoying the view! Couldn't recommend it enough. We will be back!

Amazing! The birds singing, sun streaming through the big front facing windows, outdoor furniture around the house meant you could sit anywhere. The house has special quirky, shabby chic ornaments, very tasteful decoration. Plenty of extra bits and pieces if you forget anything, Jane has thought of everything. So I appreciated staying here...Thank you.

We stayed for a full week and used the house as a base to explore Nelson and surrounds, Havelock (where we took a boat into the Sounds and Blenheim / wineries. After a day exploring, and some days when we didn’t leave the house, we lapped up the views and quiet time - card games, reading, cooking, drinking great NZ wine. The sauna and wood fired hot tub was amazing especially when the skies were clear. The views are spectacular! The drive up the hill is as described (terrifying in the wild wind and rain we had!). Make sure you book a 4WD or an all wheel drive as NZ weather is famously unpredictable. Great hosts who thought of all the small touches and were super responsive.

Perfect cozy home base for my day of visiting wineries in the area. Jacqueline was super nice and clearly so thoughtful and thorough in her setup of the tiny house. She offered great recommendations to maximize my limited time in the area. Everything was lovely (including her cutie dog!) Would absolutely stay again if I am lucky enough to visit the area again!

Alan and Aleeze were such accomodating and helpful hosts...especially as we arrived in pouring rain! The cabin was so quaint, full of character and tucked away in its own wee piece of quiet paradise in amongst beautiful trees. Everything was explained thoroughly as they showed us around and then promptly left us to enjoy their hard work. While it was too wet and the river too high to explore, it was idyllic sitting in the hot tub listening to the river and the birds. We left feeling well rested! Thank you!!

This place is really special! Nestled in the mountain with the most gorgeous views. We enjoyed chopping the wood for the fire and the outdoor bath, was all part of the experience. The house is surrounded in native plants and friendly Fantails. The shower could maybe do with updating but the rest of the house is beautifully modern , clean and tidy whilst also maintaining a rustic feel. Would love to come back someday. Thank you.

Mary Ann and Andy, thanks legends for an amazing stay! Right from our arrival to all of the yummy fridge goodies, the firewood ready to go, fluffy robes as well as all your local recommendations, your warmth and hospitality really shone through. We can’t recommend Quail Run Cottage enough!

We loved the spacious apartment with great views over the harbour. The whole living area was well furnished and comfortable with a great room for watching TV in the evenings. We love cooking and using the well equipped kitchen was great. The master bedroom was beautiful and also had great views over the harbour. Being up so high and private, we slept with the curtains open one evening as a storm rolled through. The carport too was an added bonus. We recommend this place if you have a car. I'd hate to have to walk up this steep street on foot everyday if you didn't have a car.

We loved our stay at the cottage!! It may be my favorite airbnb of all time. From the welcome basket to the wine tasting and the spa, it was relaxing and wonderful! This was a great place for two families who could walk to so many different wineries and then come home to cook a nice dinner at night! This would also be great for a girls weekend in wine country! This was a luxury but also super comfortable retreat!

What a great find - the apartment has everything you could need, is lovely and clean and feels very homely. There is a beat pump and fireplace if needed. Was really helpful to have a laundry that we could use too. The location is beautiful with the garden leading right down to the water with a view of the marina. David is really friendly and available if you have any questions. We really enjoyed our stay and loved that it was dog friendly too.

What a perfect little cottage, perched on a hilltop, with views of the sunrise, roaming cattle and the serene hills of Marlborough. A great space to unwind, with a nice living area and a small table for eating and getting some work done. While it seems isolated, it is easy to get to all of the many wineries in the area, and to shops in Blenheim for groceries or other needs. Geoff was a great host, always accessible and friendly. Highly recommend this for a couple—it would be cramped for more than 2 people!

This has to be the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! The pictures do not do it justice and the view, property and hosts are wonderful. We enjoyed the baths, waking up with the sunrise, and especially cooking outside. We were so comfortable and were not ready to leave after 4 amazing nights. Nina was nice enough to take us on a farm tour which we loved and really appreciated. Thank you again Nina and Craig, we honestly had the best experience! 1000/10

Our team didn't want to leave!! It was perfect. I did overlook the loft being the 3rd bedroom, as it has no door, we changed our team around and just had 2 bedrooms being used instead of 3. Very spacious house with nice private outdoor patio space and plenty of parking. Fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals. Walking distance to great local pub/restaurant and lovely level track into Picton Marina. Minutes from the ferry. Lynda was an awesome host. She checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we always had everything. Will come back again.
