Vacation rentals in Pianoconte

Absolutely loved staying with Paola & Marcello - so much we actually booked a second time in the same trip to Sicily! The views from the property are stunning - you’re steps away from their garden, the stars at night are perfection, and you’ll have some of the best sunsets on the island. Breakfast here is the most peaceful way to start the day. They serve an incredible homemade meal with fresh local foods. You will feel like you’re dining with family. Marcello kindly transported us to and from the ferry because the property is at the top of a hill (near the observatory). This isn’t just a place to stay it’s truly an authentic Liparian experience. Beautiful and at the same time homey experience in Lipari! Great hosts, easy and clear communication with nice service of picking us up from the harbor and renting us a scooter. We were a bit unlucky with the weather but still enjoyed our stay as we were treated in such a friendly way and could still enjoy the terrace for some time even during rain :) The room itself is quite dark but I’m sure that during sunny and warm days most time will be spent outside with the magnificent view! Great place to relax and unwind - can recommend!

Wow wow wow 🤩 We had a fabulous stay at Claudio’s place. The view was spectacular and so quiet. We got great recommendations for restaurants and seeing the island. Marcello was fantastic with meeting us at the port and bringing us back to get our boat. Any issues were quickly resolved and the lads were super responsive. Will happily return and recommend this to everyone. Go visit Le Macine restaurant in Pianoconte for a fabulous dinner too.

This home is absolutely fantastic! We really loved our stay. If anything, this place is even better than advertised: we would wholeheartedly recommend Bartolo's place to any visitors. Bartolo is an amazing host and person. We very much hope to be able to return, hopefully some time soon!

A very very special place. If you like being off the beaten path, waking up to a beautiful sunrise, being near some great hiking trails and beaches, being around donkeys, cats, chickens, and a really cute dog who will literally be your guide as you walk around the mountain, this is the place for you! Luigi and Stefania were amazing hosts, so friendly and helpful. They picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry and offered to drive us around whenever we needed it. They also let us borrow one of their cars, gave recommendations for things to do on the island, and even tracked down a local bottle of wine for us that’s hard to get. All around great experience, will absolutely stay here again if we’re back in the area!

Alfredo’s Airbnb, Atollo, is a dream. I was hesitant to stay in such an isolated location as a solo female traveler, but upon reading all the positive reviews, I went for it, and I am SO GLAD I did. While you do have to hike there (bring sneakers), I always felt safe and in complete awe and peace thanks to the beauty around me. The Airbnb has everything you need for a comfortable and restful experience. The hammocks overlooking the sea and distant Aeolian Islands, and the cross when lit at night, gives the most peace and relaxation. I traveled solely by foot. Getting down to town level is STEEP, so you need good knees or able to drive a car or scooter expertly. It’s also a walk to Lipari or Canneto so you may want a taxi or bus if going by foot. Alfredo is an extremely kind and gracious host. Taking me to and from the port and to get groceries upon arrival. I hope to return many times here. Thank you again 🤗❤️

The house is a dream! Beautiful location, a huge garden, the house is comfortable, great furnishings, like a feast for the eyes for design-savvy people. Well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. The indoor garden is like a green oasis in the middle of the house. The terrace with the brilliant view was the highlight. I would recommend a car/scooter to explore the island. The day started with an espresso on the roof terrace, followed by breakfast on the house terrace... We made many excursions, discovered well-hidden beaches, bathed, watched birds and lizards, geckos, tried some fruit from the garden. Giovanni is a very attentive host, always responded quickly to our messages (e.g. when the light went out. The problem was quickly resolved). Fantastic time in a fantastic house! Thanks Giovanni.
