Phillips Lake fishing vacation rentals

We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! Chausey was a great host and was very responsive when I reached out. The place was well kept, very cozy, and matched the list of amenities listed on the AirBNB listing. It truly felt like a home away from home. I really enjoyed the location and how it was tucked away but within driving distance of downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

My husband and I spent our babymoon at Jennifer’s place, and waking up to the stunning lake view each day was just what I needed to unwind. I asked Jennifer if there was cooking oil available, and her mom kindly brought us a bottle of olive oil before our arrival—such a thoughtful gesture! We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

Spenser's place was pretty perfect for our needs. Loved the hot tub, lots of towels, lots of kitchen supplies and room for the 7 of us. Would suggest have a few more chairs for the dining room since the home can fit 8 people. We just took a chair from the deck, which was fine. There were a lot of flies just hanging out with us, a few lady bugs too. The many flies were slow, so easy to catch. But still 5 stars! Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. It is very peaceful and overlooks the lake. You can sit on the deck and enjoy your coffee as the sun rises. It is a great place to make your hub and then is only a short drive to many places you want to explore in Maine. It is close to Camden, Belfast and Searsport. Within an hour or so of Acadia National Park, Boothbay and Kennebunkport. This was our second time to stay and we will be back.

We had a wonderful time in Dedham and the Narrows Lake House was a great home base. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and the house is relatively close to Ellsworth and Bangor, as well as Acadia. Really nice place to wake up every morning (with the added plus of a very friendly dog named Miss Aspen who will definitely say hi!). The house is pretty far back on a long and narrow gravel road, so it's not particularly walkable and you'll want to have a car that's at least a little bit suited for it. Our rented minivan was just fine but an older vehicle or one with dim headlights might make it a little tricky. The floors are also quite thin and sound travels downward, so if you have kids or louder members of your group, you'll want to have them stay in the basement if possible. Finally, Colleen was a kind and attentive host! She reached out before the stay, which was very appreciated, and is delightful to talk to. You'll be very well taken care of if anything does happen.

Tina was a great host, and very accommodating. She was quick to answer any questions I had. The AirBnB was really nice and cozy.

Corie was so responsive with answers to questions about wifi and check-in to fun day trips we should try while we are there. The view of the lake is the best and the swimming was wonderful. Plus loved the paddle boat. Very relaxing!!

I only have great things to say about our visit- the area was beautiful and peaceful while still close enough to grocery, restaurants, and activities. We felt at home right away with Ryan’s helpful recommendations and he was always available if we had questions or needed anything. We visited Acadia for a couple of days but other than that spent all our time enjoying the beautiful area by swimming, kayaking, fishing, and stargazing. The kitchen was well-equipped for us to cook and enjoy many meals and we were able to grill given the great weather we had. Easily the most attentive hosts I’ve had, thank you Ryan and Sharon for everything! We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Susan was the manager, but the “real” hosts were the owners, Brenda and Mike. Just really friendly, kind, helpful and down to earth. Felt absolutely at home. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all sorts of condiments and spices. I promise you won’t be needing anything. Lots of nice clean dishes, appliances, etc. The place itself is outstanding in its location on the waters edge. The WiFi isn’t maybe the most reliable with a full house, but it’s adequate. Besides, LOOK at the photos, it’s stunning on the pond.

Leslie’s home is exactly that, cozy, spacious, beautiful, peaceful, but above all it feels like a real home. Leslie was welcoming and gracious, she went above and beyond, I would certainly consider her a friend after staying there. I highly recommend this spot!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The views were lovely, the lake was refreshing, the beds were comfortable, lots of kitchen stuff, and the showers were hot. The house mostly has what you need. It could use a few more dish towels and bath towels. The long drive to Acadia got tiresome.

Pine panelled cabin in the woods above the bay with clear view of the water and access to the dock via a path. Very peaceful and quiet. We saw a seal swimming; many birds and great dark sky for star watching. We went at a cool time of year and there was abundant rain so we could not make use of the screened porch which in the summer I imagine would be very relaxing. The cabin had all the needed amenities and then some. Minor issue was managed speedily by the host. It is the perfect place for kayaking but alas that was not possible because the Activity Shop was closed for the season.

Ingrid’s place was very clean and extremely spacious. It is much roomier than appears in the listing. We were all very comfortable here. In addition, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. The place is very private and in a quiet area. We could hear the occupants in the unit next door, but they were not there very much. She provided some great info prior to check-in that was useful when determining what to pack and buy from the store. She also provided some great local recommendations. We stayed here while visiting Acadia, and it was less than a 30 minute drive to the visitor center. The seawall was only 10 minutes away and a great place to watch the sunrise.

A very cozy and well equipped cottage. Enjoyed the peace and quiet after a long day. Great place to stay for visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

The house and views are excellent, you can sit on the back deck or outside area and just gaze out at the view, see Bald Eagles fly over every day, even saw one grab a fish from the water. Very clean and well appointed with the essentials like detergents for laundry and dishwasher, garbage bags, slat, pepper and other cooking basics, foil and cling wrap, beach chairs. Overall I can say it is a very nice house, very clean. The location is 20 - 25 minutes from Bar Harbor and maybe 20 min to Acadia. We didn't mind this at all. We ate lobster at 5 different places, if you want the absolute best Lobster rolls go to the Travilin Lobster, there is one in Trenton and one in Bar Harbor, by far the best lobster roll. Oh, and probably as important as the house being very clean, the beds were very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect—very close to Acadia, making it easy to explore the park. The house was extremely clean, well-maintained, and had comfortable beds with great sheets. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The only thing to note for families with young children is that there are stairs and space heaters, which might require some extra supervision. Overall, a fantastic place to stay, and we would definitely return!

This was our second stay with Devon and as usual it did not disappoint! It is exactly what we needed for a quiet getaway. It is very serene with sounds of the Loons echoing across the lake. Did not see a car or person in 4 days which was great. Devon was always in touch if needed and accommodating. Great kitchen with everything needed for a snack or a full meal. A very relaxing stay!

As our last stay everything was very accommodating and comfortable. Great music, books, art and an expansive beautiful landscape. The stars at night are beyond amazing. Highly recommended.
