Vacation rentals with breakfast in Petra District

ENJOY PETRA WITHOUT THE CROWDS GOING IN AND COMING BACK! If you want a relaxed stay while visiting Petra, Leyla's place in the village of Uum Sayhoun - also known as the Bedouin village - is the place to reserve! It's about 30 minutes walk to the Petra site by the back entrance which brings you directly to the bottom of the 800 steps leading to the Monastery, well worth the climb. It was so charming walking "home" through the back entrance meeting only the camels, donkeys and their owners along the road! The views of the rocks along this road are very beautiful. It's fun strolling through the Bedouin village and buying your falafel or kebab in the local restaurants in the evening if you don't want to go and dine in Wadi Musa. Leyla is a welcoming host, her bedrooms are comfortable and perfectly clean, you also have use of kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting room with sofas and armchairs, where you can chat with other guests if you like. Leyla speaks english and spanish and enjoys chatting about local life and gives all the advise and information you need. Si vous voulez un séjour détendu pendant votre visite à Petra, il faut réserver chez Leyla dans le village de Uum Sayhoun - qu'on appelle aussi the Bedouin village . 30 minutes de marche jusqu'au site de Petra par l'entreé à l'arrière du site et vous arrivez directement en bas des 800 marches pour monter au Monastère, ça vaut l'effort! La marche retour en fin de journée par le petit chemin était charmant, nous ne croisions que les chameaux, ânes et leurs propriétaires! Les rochers sur le chemin sont magnifiques. C'est dépaysant de se balader dans le village Bedouin et d'acheter un falafel ou un kebab dans un des restaurants le soir si vous ne voulez pas aller dîner à Wadi Musa. Leyla est une hôtesse accueillante, les chambres sont confortables et propres, vous pouvez utiliser la cuisine, salle à manger, salon et discuter avec d'autres guests si vous le souhaitez. Leyla parle anglais et espagnol, elle apprécie de discuter sur la vie locale et donne tous les conseils et information dont vous avez besoin. Ses petits déjeuners sont les meilleurs de Jordanie! elle est flexible sur les horaires. Nous recommandons!

Le logement de Mousa a était à la hauteur de notre demande et la vue étais imprenable sur la ville surtout les lumières de la nuit. Je conseil vivement

Felt right at home. Tamer is a great host. He becomes your friend right from the very first minute. Always way ahead communications and very thoughtful. Goes beyond to help as needed. Even helped me get a multi plug as I had forgotten to bring mine and didn’t know where to get from 😀. The place itself matches the description and is clean. Walkable to the nearby restaurants. 5 mins walk to many. Loved the place. I’d recommend 👍🏼

Layla's place is right next to back entrance to Petra, I went to Petra for 3 days and find it closer to go main attractions through the back door, layla's place has spacious rooms, and very quite, peaceful sitting area outside also, there is large kitchen for cooking, host made me healthy home made breakfast each morning, Supetr nice meal to start the day with, I do recommend this place

Si te gusta profundizarte en la cultura del país que visitas, ésta es la mejor opción de Airbnb. El departamento es limpio y súper reconfortante, te puedes sentir fácilmente en casa. Ghassab and his wife are excellent hosts! We traveled with our two little children and felt very comfortable in the shared apartment. Ghassab prepared the best local food we had on our trip through Jordan. We would always go back.

Nice place and nice hosts who really make you feel at home. Go for the chess challenge. They took us out for dinner and showed us around. The ad shows several rooms but they asked us before which one we prefer. Overall a good experience.

We had a great stay. Hamzah was very helpful and the view from the room over Petra city was amazing

Que dire de ce séjour ? C’était absolument exceptionnel. Sans parler évidemment du site fabuleux de Petra le point de vue qu’offre la maison d’Hamzah est somptueux. Calme, le quartier est paisible et est un havre de paix et adapté pour se ressourcer. À même pas 5mn du centre-ville en voiture tout est à portée de main Personnellement c’est surtout la gentillesse familiale qui nous a touché. C’est une famille en or On leur souhaite tout le bonheur du monde Vous pouvez aller chez lui tête baissée Hôte d’exception 6 étoiles

Nous tenons à remercier Valéria et Mahmoud, pour l'excellent accueil avec des grands sourires, une réservation qui à été faite au dernier moment suites à un souci avec un autre logement. ils on été adorable avec nous, on passés un coup de téléphone à l'agence Rental car, après un souci avec notre voiture et nous ont donné des bon conseil pour notre visite de Petra. Nous avons également beaucoup échangé sur toutes sortes de sujets. Je recommande fortement. PS: Merci encore aussi à Aroqa 😉

This was a great place to stay as we travelled with 3 adults and 3 children. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves allowing us to relax after a hectic drive in. The kids made themselves at home exploring the grounds and we enjoyed the well made meal from Atallah’s family member. Atallah was quick to help us when we had questions making our not so planned-out trip even more enjoyable. After seeing poor hotel reviews and experiencing Atallah’s place and Petra, I know we made a great decision.

Layla was an amazing host. We stayed at her house during winter time so we were the only guests. The house is big, and very clean, tou can seat outside if the weather is nice and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. The house is located in a little village about 10 minutes from Petra. The people there are nice and very welcoming. We had the chance to eat in many places while we were in Jordan but Layla’s cooking was by far the best. She woke up early do make us delicious breakfast and we appreciate it very much. We also learned a lot about the culture in Jordan and about Layla’s experiences. Overall Layla was the best host we have ever had, and we have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world. We definitely recommend her place.

Loved our stay here. Comfy bed, hot shower, and great WiFi. About 10 mins away from Petra. Such great friendly hosts! We also had a delicious dinner here prepared by Valeria which I highly recommend.

Valeria and her husband Mahmoud are both delightful people who run a very efficient and friendly accommodation. It is very well organised, clean, with excellent breakfasts and delicious suppers, if you book them. They are always available to chat to about places and plans and have extensive knowledge. We can highly recommend staying here.

The room was amazing, very warm and cozy. The included breakfast and paid dinner was extremely good as well. Ali and his staff are extremely helpful and nice, with very good English. Wish we stayed longer!

The welcome is warm from the whole family. the place fits the photos and Ibrahim is a very caring person. I recommend without hesitation.

We only had one night to stay in Petra. Gail was wonderful host, very friendly. The house is indeed on a hill, and the view of the city is beautiful during the day and stunning at night. Room was very comfortable. Next morning, Gail prepared us an incredible, delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
