Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Perry County

The hosts were great. Answered our questions within the hour. The home was amazing. Thoughtful touches, including lots of extras in the kitchen and bathrooms. Bath towels were luxurious. Decor was tasteful. Space was spotless. Deck and porch were great and we all loved the swing! Arcade games, table tennis, and foosball downstairs were fun for the kids and adults. Beds were comfy too!

This is an excellent family friendly location convenient to Jasper and Holiday World. Would highly recommend!

Julia’s was a fantastic host with a very cute and charming home. Lots of space and in a great area. Well furnished with great personal touches. Highly recommend if you want to visit French Lick. Thank you for making our weekend trip extra special.

Wooded getaway is very accurate. Accommodations were perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is so pretty and Ron had turned the strings of lights on for our arrival. So very thoughtful for us Texans who were tired from a day of travel. There is ample outdoor seating and firewood available for an outdoor camp fire. We all rested well. The price is really good for everything you get. This area of Indiana is stunning. I would like to come back and stay longer! Thank you Ron!

I rented Emma’s place for a mother daughter weekend getaway. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. My bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plus Emma had a little snack tray and a bottle of the local wine for us to enjoy! The hot tub was also very relaxing and easy to use. Communication with Emma was great. She usually responds very quickly. She gave some options for things to do as well. I will definitely be back!

I would definitely visit again, this house was peaceful. The outside hangout spot was great and so relaxing. The kitchen was one of the most stocked kitchens I have ever seen and I have stayed in a lot of airbnb's. if you forgot your seasonings don't worry they probably have it. Plenty of pots and pans to use. Lots of towels in both bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable and tv's in all the rooms. Ashley is very responsive and accommodating. I will be back without the kids they were devastated about the phone service was shotty, I on the other hand loved it pure peace.

10/10 would go again. Beautiful scenery and location. The cabin was really nice and cozy. Owners are really cool and nice.

Bud and Michelle have made a cozy, gorgeous getaway location out of their Heron’s Nest. The location on the shore of the Ohio river guarantees a connection with nature. We enjoyed the star-filled skies at night, the howling coyotes heard from the peace of the deck, or the mist-filled morning view of the river. The cabin is in the South end of the Hoosier Natural forest so there is access to hikes and nature. It’s a close drive from Louisville, but we came from farther north for the ‘24 Eclipse. We drove 45 min N into the path of totality to cap off a wonderful family weekend. The cabin itself is a treasure. Our family enjoyed the unique architecture with lofts and just the right amount of space for a good size family with all the amenities. Cozy bedrooms, beautiful wood surfaces throughout the cabin, and nice kitchen for meal preps, good size gas grill for meals, and spacious sitting areas on the deck. The hot tub was nice after the hikes. We even brought our 2 dogs. Thank you!

This was my second time staying and i got to say it still blew me away. The cabin itself is very well maintained and very beautiful its so quite and peaceful there. What i really love about the cabin is its around alot beautiful parks and caves such as clifty falls, squire boon, indiana caverns, obannon state park, and mammoth cave well its a couple hours from mammoth cave, but when you come all the way from elkhart indiana its really not that bad lol. Anyways i really dont have anything negative to say its a beautiful place to bring your family and i would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to vacation in southern indiana.

everything about this cabin was spectacular and as expected.

The cabin was in a great location with a beautiful view. Bud was super helpful with directions and getting us into the cabin even though we had a later arrival than I had originally planned. All and all a great experience.

Loved this cabin and the serenity it brought with it. Loved the cedar smell of it inside, will def be back here to unwind.
