Its central location is a perfect setting if you're exploring Phoenix for pleasure, visiting for an event or spending time in town on business. Your room and bathroom are private with a queen bed, premium linens, a closet, Wi-Fi, Netflix, a desk and more. You may enjoy maximum privacy and come and go thru the independent entry. Alternatively you are welcome to use the front door, the kitchen & fridge, the front and back patios and all other living spaces. The front door is equipped with smart lock you may open with your smartphone; your room independent entry has a traditional key. La Sita a Superstition Mountain Experience Retreat

Our casita hides under the shadow of the Superstition Mountains with an amazing view of the Flat Iron. With access to private trails leading into the Lost Dutchman State Park and Tonto National Forest you be able to explore all the desert you'd like. Nestled close to the famous Goldfield Historic Ghost Town, Paseo Event Center, the infamous Hitching Post Saloon and only minutes away from Canyon Lake. One bedroom is open concept without a door and includes bunk beds. The other is a master suit.

In the summer our population is approximately 10,000 and during the winter we increase to a population of approximately 40,000. Guest are walking distance from the Gold Canyon golf resort featuring golf fine dining and spa amenities. Gold Canyon is absolutely beautiful. There are Hiking trails and so much to explore.

Cougar on the Mountain Casita

Retreat to your centrally-located private casita, at the foot hills of the Superstition Mountains. Walk/bike/drive less than two miles into town and enjoy what Mesa and Apache Junction have to offer. Walking and hiking trails are plenty simply by crossing the road towards the Superstition Mountains.
