Cottage vacation rentals in Penida Island

thankful for the host's hospitality and kindness. 🙏🏻 the place was as described and we had a comfortable stay. the property was in a quiet neighborhood and there were lots of plants and trees around. lots of warung around and there's a restaurant (Kalamansi) nearby as well. we didn't get to use the kitchen since we dined out a lot but drinking water was provided. the semi-outdoor bath was nice but expect that there will be bugs especially at night, so keep all doors closed. the place was big enough already for me and my partner as it had a "mini" living room. we got to work but the wifi fluctuates every now and then. overall, a good find! we didn't get to explore Sanur but we did visit the nearby Bali Zoo and we also managed to go snorkling in the Blue Lagoon and a quick side trip to Bias Tugel beach! thanks again for being part of our experience. 💖

Шикарное жилье. Самое лучшее, которое мы могли найти на Бали. Две отдельные комнаты на втором этаже, очень хорошая шумоизоляция. Вилла в отличном состоянии. Бассейн и территория возле него очень расслабляющие Уборка была раз в 3 дня, убирались хорошо, меняли постельное белье раз в неделю Но отдельное спасибо хочу сказать Херману, менеджеру виллы. Он делал абсолютно все для нашего комфорта. В первый день на вилле не очень хорошо работал кондиционер, он сразу поставил новый. Абсолютно все, что было не так, Херман исправлял сразу и был максимально отзывчивым А ключевое - его человеческие качества. С ним очень весело и он очень хорошо шутит В следующий раз мы хотим вернуться именно в эту виллу, потому что наше пребывание было крайне отличным! Всем рекомендую *на вилле мы жили месяц

Everything about this villa was just perfect. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like a dream—peaceful, private, and absolutely breathtaking. The views? Honestly, views to die for. All staffs were like family and we loved every minute of our stay in villa.

Most incredible villa in Bali! Wow what an amazing experience, from start to finish Anna was so fantastic with communication, all the staff at the villa are so lovely and Annisa is a fantastic host! Unfortunately my husband wasn’t feeling very well before we arrived at the villa and got worse during our stay, however the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! Organising a doctor to visit the villa! We also had the most incredible massage! The best we have had on our trip! We also had a private barong performance at the villa which took our breath away! Everything from start to finish is amazing, the food is fantastic and having your own private beach is just perfection! We can’t wait to return! Thank you for having us! X

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt hier für 1 Monat. Der Check-in mitten in der Nacht war kein Problem und die Gastgeber haben uns super nett empfangen. Die Küche ist auch toll und falls was fehlt wurde es sofort besorgt von den Gastgebern. Nur die Hühner direkt nebenan waren einwenig störend in den frühen Morgenstunden sowie zum arbeiten aber ansonsten haben wir einen wundervollen Aufenthalt gehabt.

We had the most wonderful stay at this villa in Sanur with our family of five (three kids aged 6–11). The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short stroll to the beach via a nearby resort, and only minutes from great restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It’s close to everything but tucked away behind a secure gate, which made it feel peaceful, safe, and much more spacious than other places we’ve stayed. The villa itself is beautiful—modern, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were cool and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day, which was such a welcome retreat from the Bali heat. We loved relaxing in the shaded outdoor cabana while watching them swim and play. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and the cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job throughout our stay. Highly recommend—this place was a real highlight of our trip!

Très bon séjour dans cette Villa. Un dépaysement total et convivial pour une belle arrivée sur l'île de Bali. Doni, Claudia et tout le personnel sont très gentils et donnent plein de bons conseils et de bonnes adresses. Environnement plus que parfait avec la piscine et le coin détente, jungle et petites villas. Au plaisir de se revoir, merci 🙏

We had a fabulous holiday in Ubud made extra special by our stay here - as a family of 7 the property allowed plenty of privacy and peace….ams a communal area when we wanted to be together. Staff were super friendly and helpful and Ross was responsive. Thanks for a great stay. We’ll be back.

Our host was helpful and kind. Her English was very well and it was easy to communicate. The view was stunning and there is a lot to do in the area. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to really enjoy diving trips, because this is a great location to explore. Besides the fact they have all the equipment needed. The restaurant is very flexible for people with allergies or specific diet wishes. They were helpful, considered and the food was very nice :-) Try their home made sambal, if you like spicy. There is a lot of space and privacy in this resort, because everyone has their own little 'home'. We had a great stay!

Nie mam słów bo ta willa jest po prostu rewelacyjna. Recenzenci w zeszycie gości napisali to "najlepsza willa" i ja teraz po powrocie i pobycie w innych willach też tak uważam. Jest fantastyczna. Przepięknie wykończona, każdy detal zdobienia, balijskie drewno, piękne sofy i poduszki, urzekający zapach, kadzidła, do tego kumkanie żab, kwakanie kaczek, dźwięki gekona, cudowny klimat. Basen, pokoje, całość - rewelacja! Obsługa przesympatyczna i pomocna. W okolicy znajdzie się kilka restauracji, ale ogólnie do sklepów jest daleko. Mimo to my chodziliśmy na piechotę do Warung i do sklepu. Można wszystko zamówić - jedzenie, kierowcę do Ubud, do sklepu. Obsługa codziennie na śniadanie przynosi tosty, jajka i pyszne owoce. Woda do picia, kawa i herbata jest zapewniona. Można spacerować w okolicy po balijskiej wsi i spotkać kaczki, oglądać tarasy ryżowe lub iść na spa. Z całego serca polecam willę Shanti na minimum tydzień, bo mniej to będziesz żałować, że ją opuszczasz. Polecam na 100% !!!

What a delightful experience. From the minute we booked, until the moment we checked out, we were taken care of as 5⭐️ accommodations always do. The house is stunning and beautiful. Exactly as described. We loved the open air traditional living and equally were grateful for the air conditioning at night. If you prefer no nature, this is not your place. If you love nature, you will find no better. Made came every evening we were home and made us traditional Balinese food. It was amazing and the best we experienced while on Bali. We are so grateful for her. She also provided excellent laundry service, arranged for massage and a pedicure for my husband. (Just want to mention Komang & Kedak twin sisters gave the best massage in Bali). Kedak, the manager, kept us arranged with drivers and fresh water. We are so grateful for our experience in the “jungle” and rice fields. We stayed two weeks and loved every minute.

Mijn Bali vakantie eindigde ik met 4 nachtjes slapen bij Jane. Zij en haar huishoudster Made zijn bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam. Van leuke tips, tot wassevice en late check out. En Jane regelde ook een fijne chauffeur. De villa heeft veel persoonlijke details en een geweldig fijn zwembad (inclusief schidpad :) Ik vond Saba Beach prettig omdat het er wat minder druk is. Locale bewoners die op het strand voetballen en vliegeren, wat leuk is om mee te maken. Het bezoek aan de naastgelegen schilpadden opvang was één van mijn mooiste eiland ervaringen. Flamingo Beach club is vlakbij en fijn voor een drankje met prachtig uitzicht. Neem oordopjes mee, dat is prettig voor de nacht, soms is er wat meer geluid van het feest bij de buren. Ik zou zo weer bij Jane verblijven.

We had a great stay at this villa in Bali! The location is very accessible — it’s easy to get around and close to many restaurants where you can enjoy a variety of delicious food. Several popular tourist spots are also nearby, which made exploring the area very convenient. The place was relaxing and perfect for a getaway. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bali!

Wir waren von der Unterkunft sehr begeistert! Wir sind dort angekommen und haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war für den Preis einfach super !!! Die Lage ist perfekt! Es liegt von allen Sehenswürdigkeiten ca. eine halbe Stunde entfernt, da es optimal in der Mitte liegt (daher hatten wir uns auch im Vorfeld für die Unterkunft entschieden) und somit kann man easy die Routen planen und mit dem Roller alles erkunden, was man möchte. Das Essen dort war so wahnsinnig lecker, dass wir die meiste Zeit sogar in der Unterkunft gegessen haben 😊 Komang und sein Team sind unschlagbar !! Die Freundlichkeit, das Interesse an uns, der Humor und das schöne Miteinander im Team haben für uns uns den Aufenthalt sehr besonders gemacht !! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen !

Superbe endroit, les chambres sont nickels, le staff est d’une gentillesse incroyable, le petit dej inclus est délicieux avec du choix et servis à l’heure désirée. Vraiment le staff fait tout pour que vous soyez bien. Je recommande à 100% !

An incredibly cosy and authentic place, with unique and comfortable buildings, great views, and great service

Très belle petite maison traditionnelle balinaise située au calme dans un jardin magnifiquement fleuri. Salle de bain à part en semi-extérieur très agréable. La literie est bonne, la chambre bien équipée avec des prises électriques en nombre suffisant, une moustiquaire, un espace de rangement conséquent. Bon petit déjeuner livré à l'heure prévue chaque matin. Nous y sommes restés 2 jours et nous aurions pu y séjourner plus longtemps si nous en avions eu le temps.
