We really enjoyed our stay and all hosts were lovely. Elsa invited us to watch her bake bread in the traditional bread oven, which was amazing and the bread was delicious. We were provided with toiletries. Very handy with only hand luggage brought. The house was spotlessly clean and Luis provided so much information and history which was great. Thanks Luis. The Internet catered for all 4 of us with no issues, which was a relief with an 18 year old. We really enjoyed the home grown produce and olive oil. So lovely to be able to buy.

Carlos' house is large and cozy, there is everything you need except for a dishwasher. The bedrooms are cozy and heated. A room with a fireplace is conducive to gatherings with friends, watching a movie or dinner. Absolutely beautiful location, where picturesque places and routes are 10-20 minutes by car and also a beautiful view from the window. We had a great reboot before the New Year, thank you and thank you for hosting my friends dog, he was happy too.

Great little house in a relatively unexplored region in Portugal. Our stay was perfect, with all Sofia’s excellent suggestions of places to visit & recommendations on where to eat we had a lovely relaxing week in Penacova! The house is beautifully decorated and instantly makes you feel at home. The kitchen is very well equipped and the big bbq outside is perfect for warm summer nights. I would definitely recommend Sofias casa, it’s easily one of my best airbnb experiences so far!

We were warmly welcomed by CELIA. The apartment was beautiful, clean and decorated with fresh flowers. She even bought fresh food for us. Your tips for exploring the area were very valuable. We found the view from our terrace particularly beautiful. We also had our own parking space. Our stay at Celia's was just great. We will be happy to come back. Kind regards Regina and Leo

Everything was spectacular. The house is very large, comfortable and beautiful. The place where the house is located is a quiet place, you can't hear anything, just the rain falling (it rained the whole time we were there, hahaha). It's great for those who want a relaxing time. It has very close and beautiful villages that you can visit. And as a last note, if you like pizzas there is a pizzeria 5 km away, in Sao Joao de Areias, the pizzas are amazing, the couple who run it are phenomenal and fast, don't hesitate to go. It's next to a gas station, inside a tent.

We had a fantastic time at Hanna's place. The house is wonderful, a shame that it rained every day, if I had made a little better time we would have taken better advantage of the pool and garden area. Otherwise, everything was great. Hanna's impeccable care. We were all very comfortable.

Great place to stay and explore nature. Beira suite has a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need to make yourself comfortable. We also explored Vumba and visited the animals - if you have time - we recommend to do so as well. All in all just wonderful

Small but very welcoming home with everything we need for a great stay. The township was impeccable, Mylene was very nice and made us completely at ease. Silvia is a very nice woman who has done a great job with her accommodation. We didn't have time to enjoy it all but hopefully can return in the future for a few days.

Everything was perfect! The location is great since it's next to the Aguieira dam (5mins) and not far away from the city of Coimbra (30mins). The neighbourhood is extremely beatiful and quiet. One can enjoy both the small village and the Nature. Mr. Hélder was the best host and was always available for help with any detail. He is responsible for the whole renovation of this beatiful house which belonged to his ancestors. Both the building and the furniture have many stories to be told. I can only recommend it ! Priceless !

peaceful location to rest, the pool is small but does the job. rodrigo's family is really friendly. the apartment is new and nicely decorated. Only downside have good thighs to go up and down the slope but the geography of the region is well worth a few efforts. Better parking should be provided. We are satisfied with our stay and we recommend the cottage to people looking for calm and tranquility in a welcoming family.
