We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again. The space was clean, warm and very spacious up and downstairs. The design and decor was on another level. We couldn’t get over the beautiful chandelier. We were greeted with fruits and milk on arrival in the large kitchen. Ahead of our journey we were given clear directions to the property. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for the sauna, pool etc. We used the sauna daily. It’s was huge and looked brand new. We were be able to watch the kids swim in the pool from the sauna. The kids absolutely loved the pool and took every opportunity day and night to swim. It really was a bonus to have our own pool. 5 of us stayed for a week and there was enough space in the fridge and freezer for all of our food. I have already recommended the space to my friends.

Violet was very helpful from the moment we booked. The accommodation was lovely & everything we wanted, very clean & everything we needed for a lovely stay. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

We were very impressed on arrival. Lovely peaceful grounds, pool bigger than we’d expected and great games area. Good place to stay with our extended family, good central location, really enjoyed nearby Canterbury. We were lucky with the weather. We visited Howletts zoo & 2 different sea-sides. The house is quite warm, it’s great fans are provided in all bedrooms. Improvements- Need better extraction for the kitchen- & update the book on what to do if the smoke alarm goes off! The agency were quick to help but with poor phone signal this was tricky to arrange. Bigger beds/ new mattresses Downstairs loo had no toilet lid Other reviews mentioned cobwebs & the place seeming a bit ‘tired’, I’d agree with some of that but it didn’t stop us having a wonderful time & a few cobwebs don’t bother me, everything else was clean and we’d love to return .

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

Lovely home away from home. We received a really warm welcome from our host, who answered all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully. The outside patio with table and chairs was a bonus and was great for soaking up the sun. The indoor swimming pool, playground and arcades were great for the kids. I would highly recommend Pristine Clean Holidays and would definitely stay there again!

Excellent family home in a quiet village near Dover. A great place to explore and good homebase for exploration. Claire's place was just as advertised and worked out very well for my family. 5/5 would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Kay’s lovely home. The location was superb with dozens of bars, restaurants, a terrific beach, and a Waitrose all just a short walk away. The house itself was really peaceful and Kay was a faultless host. We would love to stay again.

my daughter, grandaughter and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and clean. Although very close to beaches, bars and restaurants, it was still very peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. the host was very responsive and helpful, and we had a great weekend there. The only think I would say is the "car park" space at the back is tiny, even for a small car. However the location of the house is great so worth finding a space somewhere nearby, and then walking everywhere after that. Thanks for a lovely stay 😁

Wow? Just back from two nights here. 6 adults 3 teenagers 2 kids 2 dogs And WHAT a place. Beds, so comfortable everyone slept very well. So much space we never felt on top of each other. Everything you need and more in the kitchen . The bathrooms (3) and toilets were spotless. The kitchen spotless. Two dishwasher Washing machine and tumble dryer Fan in every room. Great location 3 mins and you’re on a beach. 15/20 mins to Broadstairs We will be back

great little place. We stayed with 2 young kids and it worked well (note there are some steep steps to navigate), we all had a great time.

We were celebrating 2 x 40th and 1 x 30th family birthdays and had a lovely time. Great location, only a short walk to the harbour. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you Natasha!

Superb in every respect - location, charm, cleanliness, versatility, views, activities: we couldn't have asked for more... other than extra time to enjoy the ambience and the area. We had a lovely stay.. the house is exactly as pictured with no nasty surprises. Amazing sea view from the master bedroom, with double doors leading onto the balcony. Stef was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay in the Arts and Crafts home, it was exactly as described in the information. The rooms including bedrooms were large and comfortable and suitably furnished. It suited us as a family group of 8 adults and 2 young children. The house was well equipped and we particularly liked the kitchen /dining room area where we spent most of our time whilst the children played. They enjoyed the garden which was easily accessible as was the park across the road. We all had a great week exploring the local area, eating at various restaurants and we even did a parkrun at Pegwell Bay! Thankyou Elaina for being a great host.

This is without doubt the most stunning place I have ever stayed in through Airbnb. The cottage has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard and every detail is perfect and has been carefully thought through. It is comfortable and luxurious but still homely and stocked with everything you need for a home from home stay! It is also in a fantastic location - only a 2 minute walk to the seafront and the town centre. I could not recommend it more highly. Belinda was also extremely helpful and welcoming and very responsive to messages. 11/10! We will definitely be back! thank you Belinda and Thierry.

I have stayed in AirBnBs all around the world, and this one was my favorite! Perfect location, very nice interior and bedding, adorable patio, and personable hosts. Highly recommended!

Had such an enjoyable stay at Melissa's home. The kitchen was stunning, we cooked a great brunch in the morning before starting our day. The bed in the king bedroom was 10/10, there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use, and lots towels too. Melissa responded quickly to my questions as well! We would definitely book again :)

We loved our stay here and would go back again in a heartbeat. The house was beautiful, really clean with many things to do, like board games and a wii, and we especially enjoyed the welcome pack which included a voucher for the very local bakery. Lovely walk to both Joss Bay and Viking bay and only a 12 minute taxi to Margate main sands. The hosts were extremely helpful and quick responders to any issues or questions we had.

An excellent stay. Nine of us gathered there for a family wedding, and it was a wonderful base for the whole week. Highly recommended!

What a find. Wonderful helpful and friendly family. We didn't have any issues with anything relating to this location. Clean well equipped and spacious property. Quiet location within walking distance of the local pub. Park and ride to Canterbury within five miles and cost £4. for the two of us. Location was perfect for us. We would definitely choose to stay with Emily and Simon again when we are next in Kent.
