Away from the hustle and bustle from central Denpasar. Great opportunity to experience the life of the locals. The host is very responsive and helpful. Grab and Gojek will find it easily and it's not too bad to go the hot spots of the island. The place has a kitchen if you prefer or need to cook. It was a good cost benefit ratio.

Wij waren wat eerder bij de accomodatie dan de inchecktijd, maar we konden gelukkig onze spullen kwijt en gebruik maken van de faciliteiten. Het is een prachtige plek, als je aan het zwembad zit heb je uitzicht op de zee. Ook de menukaart is goed bij de air b&b zelf. We waren beide dol op de chicken curry! Het personeel is onwijs vriendelijk, en bij het uitchecken kregen we tips mee (wij waren op rondreis) Echt een aanrader! Wij zouden zeker nog eens terugkomen.

Great Villa to relax and unwind. Waterfront setting was exactly as expected, in Villa massage and full time chef meant we didn’t need to leave. All requests were easily communicated via messaging.

We hebben het zó geweldig gehad met onze familie! Je voelt je meteen thuis door de gezellige inrichting. Het uitzicht over de rijstvelden is zo mooi! De slaapkamers zijn prima. Wij hadden weinig last van het verkeer. We hebben een paar keer massages laten doen, Awan regelde dat. Dat verliep allemaal prima. Dagelijks maakte Awan een prima ontbijt naar keuze. We vonden het allemaal goed. Awan spreekt genoeg Engels voor de noodzakelijke communicatie. De supermarkt aan de overkant is erg handig, het simpele restaurant op 20 meter ook. Via Grab hebben we ook regelmatig eten besteld. Het was voor een paar van ons een eerste kennismaking met Azië. Door de villa is die eerste indruk geweldig goed!!! Dank je wel Olive voor het ter beschikking stellen van deze unieke plek!

Tucked away in the tranquil hills of Sukasada, this villa offered the perfect sanctuary for deep inner work and self-exploration. With sweeping views of the ocean through a canopy of trees, and the cleanest environment I’ve experienced in Bali, it supported clarity and presence. The bed was spacious, the bathrooms large with hot water, and fresh air flowed through the space. Drinking water was delivered regularly—even though the tap water here is safe. The staff quietly maintained everything, changing sheets and keeping the villa pristine. The grounds were alive with flowering plants, and the sound of a river below added to the calm. Nearby waterfalls offered immersion in nature, while local hotels and resorts provided places to eat or be social. This wasn’t just a stay—it was a portal into presence, purpose, and the deeper layers of myself. It quietly held me through a season of grief, becoming part of the foundation beneath Tear of Hope.

Words can’t actually express how beautiful this property is. A lush oasis, Ross’s place is divine. The gardens are next level, the bedroom dwellings great, and the main living space was actual perfection! We had such a relaxing stay as a family of 7, it could not have met our needs any more perfectly. Ross was easy to communicate with, his staff helpful (we took a little bit to get used to them being around, but they were so friendly and respectful, definitely wasn’t them!) and even his recommended driver was sensational. From airport transfers to our own private tour of Ubud, our lovely driver really topped off a wonderful stay in heavenly Ubud. Thanks Ross for sharing your beautiful home with us, we would love to come back some time, it really was the best holiday. 💛

A stunning oasis of serenity! This villa capitalises on its amazing coastal location ensuring you connect directly to the sea. The moment you walk through the front door, the sea is visible through the huge windows from the family room and bedroom, with a stunning view across the pool and beyond. The open design of the villa means the breeze flows straight through the property, cooling it completely. The invitation to live outside, encourages guests to relax and live life at a more leisurely pace, gathering to dine, swim, and just be. The pendopo beside the beach was a great place to watch the world go by. The villa’s staff go about their duties cheerfully, understanding when to engaging with guests and when not to. The villa has everything you require and is very well designed and appointed. Suci cooks the most delicious food and catered to all our dietary requirements. Komang was very helpful, organising activities we wanted to do. We loved our time here. Thanks for having us.

We have truly enjoyed our stay, the host and the staff are extremely friendly and kind, has made us feel safe and comfortable like it’s our own house, the surrounding of the house is also very peaceful and one of a kind view, very beautiful, overall, we will definitely come back again, thank you! 🙏🏻☺️

Jane is a beautiful person, inside and out! Her house keeper, Made, is also very friendly and keeps everything extremely clean and organized. They both really made me feel so at home and comfortable during my stay. Jane even went out of her way to help me find a power adapter so I could charge my electronic devices. The villa is such a nice place surrounded by rice field and trees. Rivers are flowing out the window. Food is nice, lovely trip. Thank you.

Villa is completely what as you see in picture, we love it.. Restaurant you need and potato head is near by walking distance. Jodie has quick response while you asking anything. Ricco is driver who you pick-up or drop off you to airport, he is amazing man, thank you for him. This is the place that you can stay continously..

However, the entrance and yard could be improved—keeping it clutter-free and more inviting would enhance the holiday vibe for guests. The host is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Despite the slightly higher price compared to others, the prime location makes it worth supporting this homestay.”

We had an amazing experience staying with Made in Ubud! He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He not only arranged and drove us to Gili, but also helped us with everything we needed during our time in Bali. Made also recommended his family’s cooking class, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! Truly one of the best hosts we’ve ever had — we felt like part of the family. We absolutely loved our stay at Kupu Kupu. This is a perfect villa for a stay at Bingin. Away from the main drag but just a quick bike (or car) ride to find your way to the busier parts of Bingin. Cashew Tree, Seed and Salty Coffee all within walking distance and gym and Reform Pilates are just around the corner. Bingin Beach is an easy 10 minutes walk. The villa itself was superb! Elegant beach vibe interior and the outdoor area is so lush with a sparkling pool that no one wanted to get out of! Hendrik was only a step away for any assistance that we needed and was lovely to deal with. We will definitely be booking Villa Kupu Kupu again for our next trip to Bingin. Our favourite accommodation of our holiday!!

Nous avons passé trois nuits très agréables dans le logement de Dewa. L’endroit est fidèle à la description, propre, bien situé et vraiment calme parfait pour se reposer car la vue est incroyable. Mais ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié, c’est l’accueil de Dewa : il est chaleureux, attentionné, et toujours prêt à faciliter les choses. On sent qu’il a à cœur que ses invités se sentent bien, et c’est vraiment appréciable. Tout s’est déroulé simplement, dans une ambiance détendue. Une belle expérience que je recommande sans hésiter.
