Palestro 8_Art Holiday House

AlexanderRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Catia and Andrea's house was perfect! Everything was super clean, there was everything you need to cook, I could wash clothes, the whole time I felt right at home. The location is stunning, with a huge private courtyard with a view of the mountains and the sound of the river. There are walking trails nearby and only 30-60 minutes by car, there are multiple mountains to hike up if that's your thing. I recommend Monte Amaro (difficult) and Monte Mileto (moderate). Above all, Catia and Andrea were two of the nicest hosts I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Catia was extremely communicative before my arrival and when I told her what time I would arrive, her and Andrea suggested to meet them at a bar near the airbnb. Of course I accepted and I was met with beautiful hospitality, they bought me two beers and let me practice my Italian with them. And to top it off, they personally escorted me to show me the airbnb, and they also left some beer and two bottles of wine. Best experience yet!

A handcrafted puppet hangs against a stone wall, dressed in green overalls and a red bow tie. A blue lantern is mounted above, contributing to the unique decor. The combination of materials and colors creates an engaging visual element in the space.

Nicola’s apartment is very comfortable convenient for Guardiagrele and is very modest and well appointed. We really appreciated the free breakfast at a near by cafe in the middle of Guardiagrele and the information Nicola provided 😊

The Home of the Heart

NikRating, 5 stars1 month ago
5 Stars – A Romantic Gem in the Heart of Abruzzo This cottage is an absolute dream! Tucked away just 5 minutes from Sulmona and 7 minutes from the postcard-perfect village of Pacentro, it’s the ideal romantic hideaway. Peaceful, beautifully styled, and surrounded by stunning countryside—it feels like your own slice of Italian heaven. Francesca has thought of everything. The house was spotless and incredibly well stocked—the fridge and pantry were filled with thoughtful touches that made our mornings easy and our evenings cosy. We enjoyed a mix of eating out at local favourites and cooking at home with gorgeous local produce. If you're thinking about booking—don’t hesitate. You’ll fall in love with this place just like we did!

Relax, Nature and Tranquility

EnricoRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Riccardo proved to be an extremely responsible and helpful host. The house is equipped with every comfort (warm and comfortable) and cared for in every detail, 15 minutes from the ski slopes of the Roccaraso area. Kitchen equipped with anything (my mother in charge of the stove appreciated it, considering it better than her own home), the beds are very comfortable and the linen is fragrant (I am also a host, I will ask Riccardo for suggestions about it). We also used the fireplace and our Saturday night became beautiful. Finally, a special thanks to Riccardo for the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva that we found as a welcome gift. We were also allowed a Late Check-out (much appreciated in the economy of family organization). I hope to be back soon. It will be a regular stop in the future for skiing in Abruzzo.
A cozy bedroom features a spacious bed with a light-colored coverlet. Soft light is provided by two bedside lamps, creating a warm ambiance. A dresser stands near the door, with a decorative lace placement. Sheer curtains allow natural light to illuminate the room.

The Magical Morrone

Letizia and her family welcomed us impeccably. The house was perfect for our needs, I stayed with my brother and everyone had their own room. If I had to go back to Sulmona and its surroundings, I would have no doubts, I would definitely go back to them. Thanks to everyone!

"Il Centro a due passi" apartment

DelilahRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Daniela and Andrea were amazing host. They are both extremely kind and made you feel welcomed. Their apartment is so cute and cozy, made me feel at home. The place was spotless and the bed was comfortable. They also had thoughtful touches, like wine (we are not drinkers, but appreciated the gesture) eggs, milk, pasta and home made tomato sauce and so much more. 🥰We had a concern and they were really responsive and accommodating. We honestly did want to leave, that’s how at home we felt. The people in Sulmona are attentive and caring and never felt out of place. If you’re looking to stay at an incredible place, please do not pass on this one. 5 Stars all the way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
