Nestled in the centre of the beautiful village of St. Fraimbault, within walking distance to all amenities including the gorgeous lake for beautiful walks, a day of fishing or on a pedalo. Only 1hour 30 to Mont Saint Michel and 20 mins to the Medieval City of Domfront, Lonlay L'Abbaye, Lassay les Chateaux, La Fert Mace with its Plage and Spa town Bagnoles de L'Orne with its variety of shops and Casino. Truly is something for everyone.

Dating back to the 1700’s this servant’s cottage has been lovingly refurbished whilst still remaining true to its character with the addition of a modern compact but functional kitchenette it retains the original beams doors and fire place-plus a secret door to the servant staircase! This gite is tucked away right in the heart of this beautiful, rural, French village. A short 2 minute walk from the local bakery, butchers, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant . Relax at this unique and cute little house. Situated in the town yet still in a peaceful location with lovely views from the garden. A very short walk to all the local amenities including a bakery, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. There is also clog museum situated next door if you want to make your own wooden shoes. Turn left out the house and you are on a nice country walk. The lake is a short walk away with childrens park and fishing. Parking next to the house in front of the mini golf.

The Moulin de la Vallais

Relax at this enchanting riverside house that was the bakery many years ago. Lovely views all around the house and isolated so you can sit in the garden and listen to the river but know that you are five minutes from St Hilaire du harcouet. The river is next to the property with a large patio area to relax in and a lovely place for walks. There is also fishing sites just outside the property. See on line for fishing restrictions. It is also 30 minutes from Mont Saint Michel.

Above the scenic Varenne river valley, this 300-year-old stone cottage has spectacular views of the chateau above and the ancient Notre Dame church below. Complete with a private meadow garden, we are just a 5 minute walk into the medieval city of Domfront with its cafes, bars, restaurants and many a boulangerie. Rich with history, beautiful flowers and breathtaking views of the sweeping woodland valley, it is a timelessly beautiful landscape.

“Gîte de Pépé”, townhouse near the castle

“Le gîte de pépé” is a charming little house with an exterior. It has been fully renovated and equipped for you to have a comfortable stay. Ideal for 4, it can accommodate up to 6 people. Located in the small town of Lassay-les-Châteaux, voted 3rd favorite village of the French 2023, you will find a few meters from the medieval castle, all the useful shops as well as the tourist office. Many walks can be taken from the cottage.
