Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Parke County

We had a wonderful time! Beautiful setting. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The host also had the home beautifully decorated for the holidays. While you are in a country setting that is a peaceful getaway, you are about a 10 min drive to lots of shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend.

This place was great! My family and I loved how clean the whole house and pool were. The kids loved the pool! Nice heated pool! Felicia was so fast at replying back, made it so easy to communicate. We would definitely come back here in the summer to enjoy the lake and outdoor activities!

This was our first Airbnb experience and it was wonderful! Host was so helpful and the place was perfect for our needs. Clean, well stocked with what we needed, and beds were great. We look forward to staying there again soon!

What a beautiful place! The house has clearly been lovingly restored, and it was an incredibly relaxing place to stay for a few days while I was at a conference at DePauw! The thing I loved most was the full kitchen - I did mostly frozen meals but the kitchen is truly fully equipped.

The Humble Abode was an excellent accommodation! It was comfortable, clean, and convenient to everything in Greencastle, especially to the fairgrounds for the event we were attending. Susan and Janie were friendly and responsive, and the small touches at the house, such as snacks and water were wonderful!

Had trouble with the side door lock was not working the garage door locked but when we went somewhere had to manually shut the garage door then the lock wouldn’t open the garage door. Had to call around 9 pm to get it taken care of Maggie was very helpful all went well the rest of the stay

We rented Deer Creek Farmhouse & The Pond House for my son's wedding in Green Castle mid Nov. This property is so gorgeous and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. We were blessed with sunshine & some warmer weather for our stay which made it more enjoyable in November. After the wedding rehearsal & dinner in town Friday evening, our immediate family that was staying with us, enjoyed a nice fire at the fire pit. Smores of course & lots of laughs. Saturday, was the wedding, so we were gone most of the time. But it was so nice to get dressed and ready there, instead of a hotel room. Sunday, a few were able to enjoy some fishing at the pond and the zip line. What a fun time had by everyone! This was my first experience with an Airbnb. Michelle was so wonderful from the beginning of planning this trip. I highly suggest their wonderful place!

I loved the stay! The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever had in similarly priced Airbnbs. The linens smelled great and were cozy. I will definitely be staying again when I am back in town. thanks!

This adorable place was a great fit for our plans for a quiet girls weekend. A wonderfully stocked kitchen, squeaky clean, comfy home and surroundings. While it was not an issue for our group, there are two very tall/steep sets of stairs. One to enter from the front door and one to access the upstairs bedroom. Covington was a small little town with a great coffee shop, antique shops, and a handful of great places to eat.

Clean and felt like home, we will definitely return. Has everything you need if your pass through town. Close to everything. It is a duplex with immediate neighbors fyi. They were pretty quiet can't complain. Michael was awesome to work with.
