Francesco is a very nice host. We used Google Translation to communicate because we didn't speak Italian. The accommodation is clean. The furniture (apart from the fridge, washing machine and microwave which are new) is dated but functional and that's all we needed. Although noisy, the portable air conditioner saved our nights. Indeed we are not used to sleeping under such temperatures. A pair of earplugs and it's all set. The bathroom is refurbished, it's appreciated. The garden is amazing, passion fruit, lemons, oranges... a real joy. Travel can be done on foot for the beach or restaurants. These 2 days off in our road-trip were at their best. Grazie Francesco!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Fortuna. It’s Right in the old city of Pizzo and close to the piazza and the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped and we didn’t miss anything! Paola was a perfect host and very welcoming and forthcoming!

If you want to have a quiet vacation, this is the place to be. The surrounding area is very quiet and the beach right in front of the house is also not very busy. The beach bar is also great. The accommodation was very clean and all utensils, as well as basic spices, were also provided for cooking. Giuseppina was very friendly, always responded very quickly and was very helpful. We will definitely recommend this place and hopefully come back soon.

We spent two weeks in this beautiful apartment. We lacked nothing! The apartment was clean, very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Large cozy terrace to linger. Communication with Antonio was very good. No matter what issue, he helped right away. The beach in the immediate vicinity with a beautiful sea. We highly recommend this apartment. We really felt at home. Highly recommended. Thanks also to Antonio's parents, who welcomed us very warmly and helped us at any time if necessary.

We really enjoyed our stop in this village and this authentic house. Our host's father-in-law guided us on foot through the alleys to discover the peculiarities and history of this place. It was really interesting and caring. The house has a very large terrace with exceptional views of the Ionian Sea. It's a pleasure to have breakfast there. Pharmacy, doctor, grocery store, restaurants, bars, local services are present. Everything you need to have a good time with a host, Francesco is very responsive to your requests. Recommended!

It was a wonderful home. A large and well-maintained landscape. Shared swimming pool right in front of your house. There will always be time to swim just for your family. Free parking right next to the house. The house is fully air conditioned. Fully equipped with dishes, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave. The house is monitored by Yuri, who can also help with everything. Speaks Russian. There is a barbecue in the yard. There are beach towels in the house. There is a private beach - with a very steep climb of 400 steps. But the beach is worth it. There are 2 very beautiful observation decks within a walking distance. In 10 min. By car there is a beautiful public beach🏝️. The nearest cafes and supermarket are within walking distance. We felt like home. Will definitely come back.

A very special place with a very special host We stayed at Isabella and Giovanni's for 2 weeks in July. After the long and winding drive from the coast to the converted yard, you'll be rewarded with great panoramic views and a cool mountain climate. (No sweating while sleeping) Isabella is a very friendly, attentive and at the same time reserved host who fulfills every wish with joy. Everything is new spacious and very clean. Huge refrigerator with freezer, gas stove, mosquito net in the bedroom, large shower and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast is great, rich, and delicious with homemade cake. On the first drive, you still think you would have gotten lost and the sand slope does not want to end, but quickly you get used to it and appreciate the solitude and relaxing tranquility. If you don't like lively hotels, this is the place. Car or motorbike is a must. We would vacation here again at any time.

We stayed at a few places in Italy this summer, coming from Rome to Napoli and finally Fabio's place in the South. I have to say this was my favourite stay. The place is very private, easy to access, close to other local beaches if you have a car. Fabio's dad was so welcoming, made us feel right at home. The house has all the amenities needed and is clean and easy to maintain. This is a fantastic place if you have children. Hopefully we will be back 🙂

We had a peaceful and enjoyable family time at this place. The accommodation is exactly as described and has hosted us very comfortably (4 people). The beautiful terrace with sea views and the private beach in the immediate vicinity guarantee to make the most of a privileged geographical location and one of the most beautiful coastline in all of Calabria. Lucia was a perfect and considerate host: responsive, cordial, accommodating and providing advice to ensure a successful stay. It was a very nice way to close our summer vacation and an experience that we will be delighted to repeat in the future.

Overall this place was exactly as advertised. Beautiful views and and amazing outdoor area that we took full advantage of, including the relaxing outdoor shower. Private parking and a quick drive to anywhere you needed to get to. I would highly recommend staying here 10/10

Great place to stay, security was top notch in a gated community , we felt at ease for the children to play. We really enjoyed the pool especially on the days the ocean was too wavy to swim in. Overall the villa is a great size , well maintained and much more modern than the other villas that were for rent. Antonio is by far respected by my family and I, he was very communicative & suggested good restaurants to munch at . He maintained the property during our stay and cleaned the pool multiple times ! We will be back again

Since we arrived at the time we left, Alessandro was an absolutely fantastic host. Upon our arrival, he personally welcomed us, helping us with luggage and giving us a tour of his beautiful apartment. He also gave us great tips for breakfast and nearby beaches to visit. During our stay, Alessandro was readily available to answer all our questions whenever we sent him a message. The apartment is a short walk from wonderful beaches, has an incredible view of the sea and a large terrace that was perfect for watching the sunset or having our coffee in the morning. Looking forward to booking this beautiful apartment again!

The highlights of the property are definitely the sea view, the outdoor garden for outdoor meals, and the proximity to the free beach. Highly recommended!!!

Great place right on the sea, you basically feel like you have your own little private beach. Lovely views from the outside seating and some beautiful sunsets. Short enough drive to Vibo Marina and Pizzo.

Maria was such an amazing host. She was always quick to answer any questions about and also gave us many recommendations for beaches and restaurants. The apartment was AMAZING! The back area has a beautiful view of the sea and sunset at night and the private stairs were very convenient t to get beaches. The location was great as it was in a quiet area, yet a short walk to the main area with restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this place!

We were happy with the apartment. It was cozy, comfortable, clean and quite modern. In particular, we enjoyed sitting on the peaceful, sunny terrace amidst blooming plants and run-away lizards. Stepping through the backdoor of the terrace, it took just a very short walk to Pizzo beach, which was like a lonely planet in mid- October. Liudmyla was very hospitable and provided useful information before check-in. Apart from a short power failure on a rainy day we had a perfect stay at Marinella. Strongly recommended!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful and quiet location close to the beach and to town. Amazing views from the windows and rooftop and had everything we needed. We hope to come back again soon!

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!

Lovely flat. 3 air conditioning units, so even during very hot days the place is comfortable. Very clean too. The town is very small, but with the car it is a very strategic location to reach the best beaches in max 20 minutes (Michelino, Roccette, Il Tono, Grotticelle). Tropea is at 20 min max by car, where you can spend wonderful summer evenings. The host Vittoria has been extremely responsive and helpful!
